I planned to ignore you but I can't take this anymore. Ok let me lecture you on what PAT does. Due to the massive usage of IPV4, a new service called PAT was created so as to conserve IPV4 addresses. Having said that, PAT allows you to use the same IP address but different port numbers in order to identify the packets leaving it's network. The 1443, 1444, 1445 e.t.c u posted were port numbers and were not part of the IP address. Thus, a company can have a single external facing IP address and each packet leaving the network will use this single IP address but assigned different port numbers. Thus, when you see something like 41.234.89.6:269, it means the IP address alone is 41.234.89.6 and the source port number is 269.

This picture you posted does not explain why the last octet of an IP address should go beyond 255. Hope this helps.[
