Good day everyone.

Pls I need the input of people with experience on this matter:

As an international student travelling for the first time from Lagos to London:

Which Airline will you advise I go with, based on affordability and smooth flight experience without stories like missing luggage etc?

How many days/weeks is best to book ahead?

Which day of the week is flight at it's cheapest?

Pls note that my program will start on 10th October.

Use Air peace.is less than 7hrs direct flight to Gatwick airport. You can get train or coach directly to most places.

Just cari bags with wheels to make it easier for you 😁

I understand Bro.
To maintain the house property that has more than 6flats or rooms na the issue.
For over here, Estate agents or letting agency can look after properties with them receiving their commission.

But in 9ja getting such services is wot am searching for.
I just want to get them in best condition inorder to hold its future value.

Thanks for your contribution 👏

I got thesame message too even though I have linked mine. You can link your NIN without the mobile number you used to register. You just need a number with at least N20 credit. Google it or check the GT bank website for instructions on how to do this.

I tried the link but OTP was sent to registered number of my NIN which I have no asses to.

PORTUGAL🇵🇹 STUDY ROUTE SUMMARY FOR MSc.

1. Ensure your first Degree Certificate and transcript are ready and they are either authenticated and/or legalized.

2. Conduct detailed web research about your course of study, preferred institution, the language of instruction, School fees, accommodation and cost of living (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_u…).

3. After deciding on your course of study and preferred institution(s), apply to your preferred institution(s). Application fees range from €20 and above with €50 as average fees.

Most schools prefer PayPal medium (paypal.com) for international applicants. The most commonly used documents are as follows:

❗️International Passport
❗️First Degree Cert
❗️Academic Transcript
❗️CV
❗️Statement of Purpose (optional)
❗️Academic reference/Work reference letter (optional)
❗️WAEC Certificate (Optional)

4. Admission process is around 4 weeks (the date is usually stated on their website). Your preferred institution should reply to your application with their decision and next process as they mostly use a ranking system to pick the total number of required students.

5. After the offer, you need to do enrollment to secure your spot immediately (this includes payment of tax and first instalment fees or as instructed). Duration is short to confirm your offer, so get your funds ready.

6. After the enrollment fee payment is complete and successful, you will be granted access to review and update your data.

7. The institution's International Relations and Mobility Office will contact you with Enrollment Confirmation Letter to commence your Visa Application Process.

Here are the Visa requirements documents:
- International Passport
- Letter of Acceptance from your school
- Enrollment Letter
- Apply and submit your visa application (Visa Fee for MSc is €90)
- Proof of fund
- Proof of health insurance
- Travel ticket/reservation

Good luck

Good evening. Thanks for the detailed information.
For the legalization/ Attestation of each document, how much is that?

Hi guys,

So I’ve been In the UK since last year February with my dependant on a student visa.

The care company I work for is offering me sponsorship soon but my dependant won’t be able to switch with me.

Is there any other visa she can apply for to elongate her stay in the UK ?

Can anyone advice ?

Everything now na risk.
If you are the student and port go Care sponsorship it means your wife won't be able to apply for PSW.
If she's unable to secure sponsorship and her last hope is you getting PSW.
E beta U collect PSW and before 2yrs another door fit open.
But make sure you make the best decision.

I need help, please.
I am booked to attend passport renewal biometrica at Naija High Commision in London tomorrow.
A. I have heard about postal (Abi money order). Can I buy it from anywhere or must I buy it at the post office near the high commision?

B. Do I need two different self-addressed envelopes for myself and the wife? Or would 1 envelope suffice?

C.
Please. What other things do I need to sort out please? I want to have a good experience.

Please help with nuggets and experiences.

a) if you're able to buy it any post office no problem. But if you can't get it, there's a guy standing in NHC that sells it. You may end up paying extra £3 on each item.

b) only One self addressed envelope ✉️ is enough for the family. They will put your collection slips in the same envelope which will be use to send your passport with wife own.

c) other thing to sort out is printing the application form, appointment slip, payment slip, going with photocopy of your passport, NIN.
Lastly after Una don finish the capturing, make sure U take photo of the collection slip because they won't give you the hard copy.

Enjoy the comedy film tomorrow and feel the heat from 9ja. Mak sure U reach there before 9am so U don't chop breakfast

One of my guy that landed as January intake even ran mad. Two months no job, no money for rent , no food stuff grin grin grin landlord told him to leave.
Balance of tuition waiting.
He was lucky some of us his guys don dey work after graduation. We had to raise £650 by contributing £50, some £60 and one guy £100 and so one we raise £650 . Then we give am sites like Frigo etc where he can download the App and be collecting free foodstuffs , and other sites like that for free stuffs.

Now he has gotten a cleaning job and security job. grin grin but 20hrs/week

Problems of most of we 9ja to dey blv in faith when you know there's a barrier.
If the law says students are only entitled to 20hrs work.
At most 20hrs will fetch you £1100. House rent alone don take majority of it.
In my situation I work full time and earn at least 35k yearly with free transportation to work/leisure.
My rent & bills are over £1800 monthly.
If I comot bills,my account balance no go even get flashing credit at the end of the month.
UK don choke now. To even get part time jobs na hard thing especially if you be international students.
How many people fit cope 2months without job.
Anyone coming as student now shd consider his purpose of coming to UK.
Paying skul fees @ £1=#2000 na hard task.
I know some of my work colleagues born in UK wey don pass 30yrs and still living with their parents.

Now my issue is that I didn't receive any message requesting additional documents. Please what can I do?

Do they send the applicant or the dependent (partner) any email requesting for more documents,if no then check the email address they ask your child to forward other documents to and email them that main applicant/Dependent (partner) did not receive any email requesting more documents.

If you're flying from Nigeria to UK with just a stop over in (Instabul) Turkey, you don't need transit visa.
For the connecting flight ✈️, I go advice you to select one with 2hrs + stopover because their airport in Turkey dey big .

How does this change the fact that your statement was wrong

Mr right if an unaccompanied minor travel on their own and been picked up by Parent/guardian @ the airport, that doesn't mean they are traveling out of the airport as minor.
Most school kids (minor) travel on air out of the country but are accompanied by Teachers/Adult.

The passenger I stopped on my post were Adults but who purchased child ticket to travel.
Kindly do me a favour to order alcohol/cigarettes to yur home address, send unaccompanied minor to receive the delivery.

This day, 29/02/2024, I have finalized decisions to move out of this country.
How I want to do it is between me and God but I'm hopeful that I'll be resuming for a MSc programme at a university in the UK by January, 2025.

To start with, I have made a few researches about schools and cost of living plus, cost of migrating too.
Please I have a few questions:
1. For somebody who is on somewhat tight budget, which of the cities in the UK is a good bet- relating to cost of living and access to jobs.
2. Please, is University of Reohampton suitable for someone looking at a budget of 10M?

For now, I'll appreciate responses to these questions. Thank you all

If you don't mind Management courses, go to Ulster university Birmingham campus. Their tuition fees is less than £13k

They don't need the news paper, the certificate is enough and once you have a court affidavit for the change of name, is ok. But be rest assured that UKVI must ask for more proof of your relationship with your wife because your marriage certificate is not verifiable. So prepare your mind for it. Start putting your pictures with your wife together, old, new, wedding and traditional Marriage pictures, plus your WhatsApp chats with your wife, Facebook chats, tenancy agreement, bank transfer.

It is written in the RWP 6.2: Which states that relationship with your partner must be genuine and subsisting. Good luck.

Do they mean they can't verify if 9ja marriage certificate is legit or not?

Minors can travel by air unaccompanied please

How many airlines allow minor to travel on their own if less than 16yrs?
Here is a proof for you .
The few airline who allow minor of under 16 to travel on their own will definitely make the guardian/parent to receive the minor at the arrival Airport. The airline staff will definitely follow the minor through security point. At exit point, paperwork/proof of identity of parent/guardian will be check.
At this point, it still means d minor is with his guardian/parent.

Sorry to digress, are you 100% sure that the person is not under 16 years old? Without an id, there’s no way to prove his age. The kids here look a lot more mature than their age. My 12 yr old daughter looks about 15.

I was also on the train recently from Glasgow to Inverness and these two 13 yrs olds were made to purchase adult tickets costing nearly £100 by the ticketing officer on the train. They told the woman several times that they were kids but she wouldn’t budge. Later, I overheard them complaining to their mum on the phone. They also complained to the next ticketing officer that came onboard the train, and he advised them to apply for a refund online with copies of their tickets and id. Most times when it comes to age, people don’t always get it right.

Boss I work in the industry and I know time to challenge passengers that is over 15yrs.
15yrs old passenger are not allowed to travel on air by themselves.
This passenger sef is over 25yrs.
If a passenger wey arrived internationally either by air or rail, he or she sha go cari passport join body.
If you dey London then you go know how majority of people play the game.
Lastly travelling by rail, you are only a child if you are less than 16yrs.

Why's it that airlines don't include info about if a transit visa will be required for their flight, they just leave the customer guessing!😡
How do I know if Turkish Airlines would require a transit visa for a flight change in Istanbul Airport!😠

Turkish airline doesn't require Transit visa.
If you check some booking site, they will put a warning sign on it to let you know this journey requires a Transit visa or not.
In summary, any flight that stop in most European countries require a transit visa except flight lyk Qatar airways, Turkish.
You can fly with African airline which only stop once such as Air Maroc,Ethiopian, Egypt air,Kenya airways etc.
