CLUELESS GOVT.... BETTER FACE THE SITUATION SQUARELY AND AVOID USING BACKYARD METHODS TO SOLVE IT.. THIS WAS A FAILED ATTEMPT.. TIME FOR HIM TO SHOW THAT HE ACTUALLY HAD NO SHOES.. THOSE WHO CURRENTLY HAVE NO SHOES CANNOT AFFORD PRIVATE HOSPITALS...TALK OF MEDICAL TOURISM INDIA GOT TO WHERE THEY ARE BY GOVT FUNDING OF SPECIALIST TRAINING.. NOT BY SACKING RESIDENT DOCTORS... ....AND NOW WE ARE DROOPING THERE.. ....NO SENTIMENTS IN 2015....FACTS OR NOTHING ....AND WITH THIS STRIKE TAKING THIS UGLY DIMENSION.... ....SO MUCH DUST HAS BEEN RAISED.. WHICH WAY NIGERIA? HOW CAN GOVERNMENT RIDICULE THEMSELVES LIKE THIS? SACKING 16000 DOCTORS IN A COUNTRY WITH LIMITED NO OF DOCTORS. EVEN WHEN WHO HAS JUST RELEASED A STATEMENT THAT DEARTH OF HEALTH WORKERS IS ONE OF THE REASONS FOR INCREASED SPREAD OF EBOLA. THE MINISTERS ARE BUSY GIVING PRESS CONFERENCES IN ABUJA AND EBOLA PATIENTS ARE DYING IN LAGOS WHERE HAS SINCERITY GONE? WHO IS FOOLING WHO? THEY WANT TO INTIMIDATE DOCTORS YO SUBMIT. OK O WHERE HAS DIALOGUE GONE? DOES PROF ONYEBUCHI CHUKWU REQUIRE THE HOUSE COMMITTEE ON HEALTH TO REMIND HIM TO DO THE NEEDFUL? Is residency program the bone of contention in this Strike? To what extent has the presidency and health ministry shown commitment to end this strike.? Why should they leave the substance and be chasing shadows? The minister refused to appear before the house commitee on health to sort out issues...the president himself have never said a word on the strike... The minister became a consultant orthopedic surgeon thru residency training....and now he wants to stop others. Is NMA synonymous with NARD? What of those in the employ of state governments? .....so who becomes consultants after the present batch retires? ......resident doctors are the backbone of teaching hospitals in their areas of specialty.. Where will the government get replacement...160000 I hear What is wrong with this government? Have we asked ourselves why India health system has improved....thats a third world country like us.. ....THAT'S BECAUSE OF GOVERNMENT FUNDING OF SPECIALIST TRAINING... .....AND OUR GOVERNMENT HERE IS SCRAPPING THEIRS... I USE TO DISAGREE WITH THE FACT THAT THIS GOVERNMENT IS CLUELESS....NOW I KNOW BETTER POSTERITY WII JUDGE US.. Doctors are not awarded Consultancy by virtue of years of practice....they earn it thru enrolment in a Residency program and many years of rigorous, painful, financially demanding training in their chosen specialty......one cannot just stay without any active training and want to be made a consultant....JOHESU take note. 7 Likes |

Was just discussing with someone a day ago about how NCCF affected my life...it's the icing to the cake called NYSC ...infact I see it as the reason why God still allows NYSC to exist..encouraging all Christian corpers to take advantage of it.. Muslims also invited...there's no better time to serve God than in the days of our youth...God is reaching out to Nigerian youths through this organization...can you just say YES to him NOW..tomorrow may be tooooo late...SHA LOM |
