Guys, I’m excited to say AL for Masters in African Verbal and Visual Arts (AVVA) just dropped from the University of Bayreuth.

Please is any one aware if the German embassy in Nigeria has resumed operation?

I want to be sure that all things are Clared out and all operations are resumed before i arrange for my SL to avoid wasting it. I heard that SL when issued must be used within 6 month's , else it becomes invalid.

Please I need clarification on the issue of SL as I am confused right now.

I am hoping to get a SL from a Nigerian living in Germany. This friend has lived and worked there for a very long time but has no red passport yet (green card) . But he has legal resident permit .

I would like to know if a person like this is legally qualified to issue SL, is resistant permit sufficient or must he be a citizen?

Sponsorship letter is an alternative to block account. If someone is giving you sl, it means that he/she is capable of taking care of you financially and otherwise which which will be definitely prove to the embassy.

In that case its just to show financial capability while, the student will be on his own.

Please educate me more on this:

I need to know the Degree of Sponsore Letter. Does it mean that:

1. The person sponsoring me will be responsible for my living expenses + my Up keeps while in Germany?
2. Do I need to live in the same house/city with the person when I arrives ?
3. Will the person be spending his personal money for my welfare ?
4. Must the person be my blood brother/relation etc ?

OR

Is the Sponsors Letter just to bypass the block account? Which means I will be on my own and be take care of myself financially when I get to Germany ?

No interviews , just my documents.
