It is because 70 percent of children born abroad lose the core values of the African culture such as family ties, respect, sense of responsibility.
My friend's child who is 14 calls his uncle a "dickhed" in front of his elders and everybody just sigh in relief.

ojesymsym:
why as per bolded if I may ask?

We do want a sane country, lots need to change in Nigeria but there are good things about Nigeria like community share of responsibility. Like people can easily dash you N5000 when they see you hungry but In a developed country someone who looks hungry doesn't get a dime, there are exceptions though.

You can get through many things in Nigeria.

Cyberknight:

Don't we all want a sane and organised country anymore?

It may seem tough for you living in Nigeria but a lot of parents who birth their children abroad wish they can do the same as what your Dad did by raising them in Nigeria from childhood.

I understand Nigeria is tough, if you have the means, you could move elsewhere to have a second home but the economy in Italy is not good either.

A lot of things you can get away wit in Nigeria is not applicable elsewhere.

ositadima1:
I want to add before I sign-off, if you are living abroad consider ur kids before taking irrational steps, it's true not everyone will end up like me but Nigeria can be though on some people sha.

Really shocked they wiped ur account in the name of damages fee?
What damages exactly, relating to the funds?

mesmer:

He shouldn't try waiting for there 180 days... PayPal may steal the balance for damages, talking from experience. I lost $2,560 to there stupid damages fee, account was wiped clean not even a cent was left. PayPal is unpredictable, if he can verify and lift the temporary limit, that would be his best bet. my opinion though.

The exchange rates will keep going up for now even when International Airport reopen on August 29, the demand of forex by Nigerians waiting to travel out of Nigeria will go up and this will push the exchange rate up.
We could say the number of Nigerians coming into Nigeria to bring forex too but you can't compare the number of people trying to run away from Nigeria to the number coming in for visit, the ratio is like 1000:1.

I just tried an experiment here in the UK, i used my Nigerian bank card to withdraw Pounds and they charged N630/£. I think it's only the begining of what to come.

Nigsrdumb:

The reality**

Bloomberg) -- Nigeria’s foreign-currency shortage is squeezing the life out of Africa’s biggest economy.
Banks won’t honor card payments, foreign investors can’t get their money out and manufacturers are unable to import vital raw materials as output hurtles toward a second contraction in four years.

I intend to earn interests from Nigeria due to interest rates in my location is 0.4% with a limit of $25,000 with most financial institutions and they require declaring the capital investments at the end of every tax year which is not good.

As you said, naira is unstable. Maybe its best to hold the foreign currency until there is stability in the market. Every foreign currency i convert to naira stays in naira or put back in naira real estate/business.

ahiboilandgas:
why are u investing in fixed or money markets instruments in Nigeria at the moments been 8000 mile away ....what your mission statements .....do u intend to earn income from Nigeria or there are no investment oppurntiies in your current location.....the naira is too unstable now so converting your pounds or dollars to invest in naira earning asset means instant Lost to u.....

In addition to your question, this is a re-opening bond meaning the initial bond conditions weren't met and is being offered for re-sale, the percentages you see may not be what you get if you go for this bond, i am sure up till this point but there are more bonds conversant guys like ukay2 to explain the conditions of such bonds.

Nb: Anyone posting re-opening bonds auction should try explain conditions of it so that investors know what they are getting into.

Phylife:

Please House i need straight answers to the below:
1. Can one with low income say 50k to 500k invest in the FGN bond?
2. How can one go about it to invest? Through one's bank or a stockbroker?
3. To get or open a cscs account tied to the stockbroker - if yes through a stockbroker - assisting into subscribing for the bond?
4. And is the auction done every month or quarterly?

Thanks already.

I am not Ebiz, I am only asking you to post here the screenshots of the transfers from him to you and a screenshot of PayPal limiting your account.

Obviously there is no way to show it's unemployment funds since PayPal transfers doesn't show source of funds but post the screenshots.

NanaF:

EbizCoachNg2, You’re an unrepentant fraudulent individual and you can never Stop lying. My funds is the last money your seller sent because his account got limited. What does that tell you?

Your full statement is you literally saying that you didn’t sell me unemployment funds (after I called you out on them being fraudulent when the news broke) but that’s even if you did it’s not your fault

Hi,
you are accusing the guy of selling bad funds to you without any evidence, can you post screenshots of the transaction history and PayPal limiting your account.

I am looking for a PayPal seller to supply funds worth over N10 million Naira and I was going to transact with him.

NanaF:

Scammer. You are fraudulent. I will keep reminding you. I pray EFCC locates you soon.

The lifespan of Nigerian bonds will soon reach it's elastic limit, the debts has been stretched beyond limits, the country Nigeria won't be able to repay the debt in 250 years from now, it is too much debt, the solution for the government is to keep servicing. There will come a point when the foreign investors will carry their money then Nigeria will be left with local investors money, we are not far from it. Sukuk was to borrow N150 billion but they ended up borrowing N162 billion, what is the plan for the additional N12 billion? Nothing but to embezzle.

It has happened in Zimbabwe, It has happened in Venezuela, it is happening now in Nigeria. Bonds are good in a growing economy but Nigerian economy is at decline phase. Recently i realized the money generated from 1 year bond period is what i can make within 6 months of investing at the right place, eye opener indeed.
Obviously it is better to have your money work for you but there are better aspects that generates double. Recently i made N1.3m interest within 2 months doing nothing, this same amount i would have to wait one year with fixed bonds capital of N13m to generate that interest. In another 2 months i will make another 1.3m doing almost nothing, short term investment is a key to wealth multiplication.

It is open but plans has changed, i was advised by an estate agent to look out for bargain hunt houses not a N120 to N150m house. I am looking inwards into Phase 2 Lekki/Chevron with half the initial budget.

Investment / Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Philantropists: 6:15pm On Jun 15, 2020
Wow i wasn't thinking of the interests from re-investment, i could possible be at little advantage but the way the debt instruments is increasing, one has to be extremely cautious because anything can trigger default in a declining economy.
I believe going real estate is a sure bet for annual returns with the way the huge debt is being accumulated. One has to cash out at the right time. I read an article today, the aspect of Nigeria doing well in revenue is debt instrument in terms of investors confidence to invest not Nigeria being able to repay from the projects the debt was used for. On the other hand, real estate in Nigeria has suffered decline in revenue.

ahiboilandgas:
the bi annual return should be reinvested by 7 year u could have made 120m ........but remember to enjoy your life in between live ia too short and meanless ....

Nawah oh, i have never heard a bond subscription is postponed, shebi this people no wan do me magic for the N50m i tried to invest. It's 2 weeks now and already N210k interest that i should have gotten is lost, my account manager didn't explain this well to me.

emmasoft:

For all sukuk bond subscribers, just wait patiently don’t be anxious. Everyone who subscribed will be given what is due him/her after the issuer decides base on the available funds realized. Allotment will be basically dependent on the rate at which it was oversubscribed. Without any doubt it will be heavily oversubscribed.
Also note that once the allotment is done and you have excess funds, it will be returned to the bank account you supplied on the form. It has nothing to do with the agent you submit your form through.

Thank you very much Sir for the N20,000 you sent to me, I am very grateful.. I have used it to feed my mother and little sister, may you never lack.
Autos / Re: N1,200,000 or Less Tokunbo Cars by Philantropists: 9:26am On Jun 03, 2020
The issue is that a used car depends on market where it is bought. I have bought and distributed more than 10 used cars to people and none of them had a flat battery or any problems at all because I buy cars road worthy in the country where it's being sold.

If you are looking to buy a cheap car then prepare for such issues, the seller here is only buying what the Nigerian market wants, I'm sure he knows where you can buy a car in Canada, ship it to Nigeria and no single fault will be detected upon arrival at Tincan island.

The lady in question should dm me and I will send her N100k for the losses she suffered, this is a free gift from me.
