Good you shared this info so people don't invest with such entities. Imagine giving them your money and they don't reply your calls or mails while you are 8,000 miles away. oneroflo57: 5 Likes |

emmasoft: What of those not on Nairaland?. We have discussed issues of nonchalant attitudes of Nigerians to work here several times. I want to believe that somebody is being paid to handle such communications. The best thing is to take this feedback to Investment One. The bank i use, once i send a mail to customer care, i immediately get an automated response. Within a working day, i get a response from a staff telling me the number of days it will take to resolve it and it gets resolved +/- one day of the days given to me. 14 Likes |

Dollar was 475 yesterday for black market. Will it be a good idea at this point to buy it at small money and keep? |

Tb is so bad that an auction took place yesterday and no body commented.....extremly poor rates people where bidding 0.8 for 91 days...and 3.1 for 364 6 Likes |

Rate might remain so for long time ....since the cbn can now manage liquudity via crr debits of banks ..and abandon omo or restrict retail investors....so it only roll over at poor rates. 1 Like |

Most people have seek alternative to TB. Only PFA are still buying, I'll rather leave my money in savings or mmf than wanting time on TB roi of <1% @House, A friend recently brought a proposal for equity partnerships in his already running palm kernel oil mill. (He basically want me to provide funds for purchase of palm kernel in large qty so as to guarantee daily production) I've seen his books, gone for inspection, but haven't given consent yet. My preference is profit sharing (partnerships) with a legal written agreement. Donno if there is any body on this thread that has experience in such venture. Advise will be highly appreciated. 6 Likes |

DigitalMallam: Are you satisfied with what you saw? How much of this your friend do you know? Generally speaking, the business is good if you guys can get palm kernels in large quantities and, profit margin would be determined by the proximity of your business to sources of supply. Other pros should lend their voice. 1 Like |

DigitalMallam: All investment carries one form of risk or the other. After doing your due diligence and you are convinced, go ahead but no matter how convincing nothing should replace legal aspect. All things must be in the right perspective. Try and imagine what happens to your investment when the worst happens. let everything be in black and white and each party knows their limit. Remember past performance of an investment is not a guaranteed of future returns 12 Likes |

DigitalMallam: To me you have done enough DD but my concern is; what is the process in place that will guarantee you 100% CAPITAL RETENTION? PS is important but security of your capital is more importanter Lastly, don't be so desperate or greedy because, even those books and inspection you did would've been manipulated. Only invest what you can afford to lose. I wish you all the best. 5 Likes |

Hallenjay: The right alternative to TB is VGIF by Investment one Financial Services. The Vantage Guaranteed Income Fund (formerly Kakawa Guaranteed Income Fund) is designed to provide a pre-stated return on investment. Unlike all other money market funds which guarantee only principal, VGIF guarantees principal as well as a return equivalent to the Standing Deposit Facility rate (SDF). In addition to the guaranteed return, unit holders are also entitled to an addition excess return above the SDF. The Return on Investment for VGIF is paid out twice yearly (July and January). Pre-liquidation before 6 months is 10% charge on the accrued interest. Currently, the VGIF pays subscribers a minimum guaranteed return of 7.5% annually. To open your VGIF account kindly use the link on my signature.

Is this possible? |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by TotoNaRubber: 7:38pm On Aug 15, 2020 |
It is very possible, the economy is getting worse, the US is floooding international market with cheap oil and Nigeria revenue from oil is dwindling. Anyway bad for some but more profit for some like me, at N550/$, i would have made N1.7m profit on $10k and multiples of more millions still cooling off. This devaluation will hurt importation, local foods will become more desirable. Time to start buying locally. Ikjosh04: 2 Likes |

So I registered with investment one VGIF and I decided to even try it by sending small amount of money to the account. I put my customer number in the reference when I made the transfer as advised. Since Thursday that I made this transfer, up till now the money hasn't reflected in my VGIF account. If they can be acting this way with small amount of money, I wonder what will happen when millions is involved. I no dey Naija, Am I supposed to be calling them for God sake? Abeg my people has anyone ever had this same issue before? 3 Likes |
