Pls can someone explain to me why it is asked in the visa application form if one gets financial assistance from relatives and they also request in the form for us to state the frequency at which thess financial assistance received.

Omo_Tier1: First, did your husband at any point in time have anything to do with the West midlands police? If yes, then He needs to start the clean up from there. If you appeal, the Judge will look at the facts presented by you& your husband and the HO Solicitors. Knowing how despicable the HO Solicitors are in their attempt to convince judges even with outright falsehood, then your best chance of winning to to get the miss-up (if any) by West midlands police cleared otherwise the Judge will rule on the evidence of facts before him or her!

I am sorry your case is one of the fears people expressed about UKBA/HO's ability to handle biometric data and many more people are already having their finger print mixed up without them knowing!
What! God i hope that doesn't happen to me, In fact it will not in Jesus name. This one na serious matter o
The standard UK visit visa is 6 months, and you can remain the the UK with it for that long provided there is no "Duration Of Stay" Remark in the visa. For example, a visa could be valid for 6 months but the Visa Officer reserves the power to enter a "Remark" that will bind your admission into the UK or your stay within it under certain conditions ie:
Issuing Date: 27/06/2012
Expiring Date: 26/12/2012
Duration of stay: 15 days;
and there may be a remark stating
"[i]Not allowed to remain in the UK for longer than 15 days

Thanks for your advice but looking at my circumstance you didn't state if i stand a good chance of getting a visa

Good day all, i stil didn't get a response, so i will state my case again and i would really appreciate your advice

i work as a receptionist and i earn 45k monthly and have 500,000naira and i am entitled to 2 weeks paid leave. My husband is british and has about 6,000 pounds in his savings to sponsor me for a 6 months visit. My question is

Is it ok for me stay for 5 months in the uk and state in my application form that i will stay for two weeks so that will correlate with my leave letter

Do i stand a good chance of getting the visa, (no kids to show family ties)

My husband is my sponsor and he told the bank to split his salary when it gets to the bank, ie he told them to always take 1,000pounds from his savings account and put it in his current account i hope there is no problem as long as he presents bank statements for both accounts and payslips to show payments
well when i applied for my uk visa i did not put in any council tax payment and i was successful. it is not so much about submitting all these numerous document but one must just be straoght forward and honest. thats it. [/q

Vergil: Don't think you need to put ur husband account as what's available for your trip. Are you working? Earning any income? Get money Occasionally from Friends and families? Put that in. But don't drop a large sum of money in the account suddenly and submit that statement.
i am working and have 500,000naira account but my husband is sponsoring my trip, what am i to when i am asked "how much is available for your trip"
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by philipin7: 2:12pm On Jun 25, 2012
i am also to state in my visa application form that i get financial requirement from my sponsor(husband) of which i will present western union receipts to back up my claim.

Is it ok to deposit the money i get from my husband(sponsor)into my account as long as the western union receipts are available.i hope this will not be money lodgement.

there's a part in the form that is asked "how much is available for your trip" is it ok if i put in what is available in my husband's account.

Thanks for your advice.

Pls i will like to find out if council tax statement can be submitted bering the landlord's name or my sponsor's name. My husband is my sponsor and presently he lives in a room in an apartment of which he pays his rent to the owner of the apartment and when he went to the council tax office in the uk he was told that he needs to get a double room or a flat before the council tax document can come in his name. He intends getting an apartment in September and we will apply for a 6 months visa in December.

My question is do they request for council tax statement covering the sixmonths and other tax document is needed to support the coucil tax statement

vicjustice in case you are not aware

New immigration rule for spouse visa states that a sponsor of a spouse must have a minimum of 18,600pounds as gross annual income
My husbands annual income is 15,600 so we dont qualify. Thats why we are applying for 6 months. He has just 6,000pounds available for a 6 months visa
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by philipin7: 11:53am On Jun 21, 2012
since i am entitled to 2 weeks paid leave in a year, i can get a letter from my office permitting me to go for a 2 weeks christmas holiday. I intend to state in my form that i will stay for 2 weeks only while apply for 6months visa. If i have this letter from my office and a sum of 500,000naira in my account, is this ok? i will skip the month i put in a lump sum and start from the following month. And again my husband will sponsor me during the visit.

For now he does not have 16,000pounds for spouse visa that's why we want to start with a 6 months visa. We have available 6,000pounds for the 6 moths visa

Pls tell me where i am not getting it right

Thanks

Thanks for your reply

My husband is a British citizen he works as a Health care assistant in NHS hospitals and earns 1,300pound monthly.
If i cant get a letter from my office granting me leave what do i do, if they agree to help by drafting a letter for me what then.
And the 6,000pounds my husband is planning on saving is it ok? The 450,000K in my account is it ok. Or do i skip the month i deposited the huge sum and start afresh from a new month to present my statement of account

Pls advice me on how to go about this..

Thanks

Pls i came across this site and i have some questions to ask about family visit visa.
I intend applying for a visa in October or November 2012, then my husband would have saved 6,000pounds. He is going to be my sponsor' I work as a receptionist and i have like 450,000naira in my account, earn 45,000k but i was able to sell a piece of land i have in May.Pls i want to know if these monies available will be ok

Secondly, i am only entitled to only 2weeks paid leave in a year and i want to apply for a 6 months visa. I dont think the company will agree to draft a letter permitting me to travel. Is the 450,000 is my account enough to prove that i will return back to Nigeria.I intend explaining in my form why wont have a permit letter from my office. Or do i just discuss with my MD to draft a letter for me. Pls i need ur advice.

Thanks.
