Truckpusher: Suddenly, Phillip70 the ultimate critic isn't seeing anything wrong with a man that lied once?
Bro, Na wao - when are we going to start telling each other the ugly bitter truth? At least I told you my disappointment at this issue but because of my belief in this man which I have never hidden since 2003 when he first contested I am only giving a benefit of doubt till his given time. At least an explanation was given. |

Any report not directly coming as a release from the presidency gets scrutiny from me. I don't swallow them hook, line and sinker. The media has a way of scooping words from your mouth and take straight to print albeit with sensations. Nigerians are so obsessed with headlines. You can testify with Nigerian info radio call in program if you live in PH |

Truckpusher: If your sense of judgment wasn't biased why would you trust a man that can't tell what he owns even when he made it as a promise ? There's no bias in it. I always give room for benefits of doubt in such. They said 100 days and I must wait for it not without the knowledge it will terribly impugn on his integrity if it's not fulfilled. |

Truckpusher: what time my friend when the old system keep showing his ugly heads every time?
Let's not deceive ourselves here and I use to have a lot of respect for your insightful posts but when it is glaring to everyone that things aren't right yet here you are sounding like a broken record. Think and tell yourself the truth - We can lie to everyone around us but we can't lie to ourself. Exactly what is not right? The lopsided appointments? I have stated my position on it for long and I have my reasons. One thing you should agree is politicians have destroyed this country that it will take very drastic and uncomfortable decisions to make amends. For me everything Buhari has done so far meets my expectations and am very satisfied with them. The only thing I fault and will continue to fault till it's settled is the issue of public declaration of his assets as he publicly promised. Yet, I have no doubt about his resolve to fix this battered country and prevent goats from eating our yams as much as possible. |

Truckpusher: Integrity is when you say how you feel even in the face of death and outright excommunication from the people that once professed their love for you and not sticking to an ideology that is being and have been proved to be wrong. Only time will tell my man. Nothing has been proven under 3months. At the end of 4yrs we will all tell what was wrong and what was right. But if preliminary reports from NNPC deals and crude oil sales et al is anything to go by it remains odd anyone can still defend such. Yet, it's still too early to decide. May God keep us. |

He lived here for years in his personal house he still owns and only moved to airport road not too long ago. If any of you Thomases live in Warri take a ride to the junction of the street mentioned in one of my comments and ask of his house. Everyone knows him and it's a stone throw from that mess. |
Crime › Re: How Banks, Govt Officials Aided Marketers To Loot Subsidy Billions... by philips70(m): 2:58pm On Aug 29, 2015 |
free2ryhme: Some truth but not all for the purpose that it seems. Read in between lines, you will know the writer is hired to give strength and fire to the probe crusade. For whatever purpose this write up is meant for, no blame should be ascribed to Jonathan as far as fuel subsidy corruption saga is concern. This man Jonathan saw all these complex and monstrous subsidy system and stood his ground that subsidy must be removed just to save Nigerians the age long monster that have made few wicked Nigerians dubiously and excessively rich at the expense of the suffering masses, but the same Nigerians that are crying "hoo and hii" today staged a masterminded nation wide protest against it even degenerated to "occupy Nigeria slogan" like those of the Arab states in the middle east.
Please give us a break, where were the likes of this writer that time? Why did they not expose all these to vehemently support Jonathan in removing the subsidy. Our problem in this nation is that we are always playing "the black cat umpire.". It will not help us. We known for long that much evils have been going on in this fuel subsidy system but we decided to trade truth for politics. The then Opposition party was against the removal and used NLC to stop Jonathan from stopping the fuel subsidy for flimsy excuses. Now that they have entered power, they are using every means possible including hired writers to cry foul and asked for the head of their predecessors. Too bad for this nation. The subsidy system is a complex system especially when dealing with those heartless and greedy petroleum marketers. They are high level syndicates that can outsmart any government. Since Buhari entered, do you know how much fake fuel subsidy bills that has been accrued and documented as liabilities against the government by these voracious wolf marketers.
For me, the best thing to do is remove the fuel subsidy entirely. If not, this same story will still emerge after Buhari has left govt if we do not activate the existing refineries and build new ones to stop fuel importation. So according to you if you identify someone who has been stealing yams from your barn, all you do is relocate the barn and let the person go scot free. Since when did economic saboteurs stopped finding other means of robbing the country blind when you close one door for them? If you don't punish crime in a society the society will breed a generation of criminals. If you build a safe in your house to protect your money and leave the thief roaming he will steal the safe and the money. |

texazzpete: You should learn comprehension.
Subsidy is not a bad thing. In fact, it's excellent. It's the theft of subsidy funds that is a bad thing indeed.
What GEJ wanted was to stop subsidy, instead of doing the sensible thing and tackling The corruption eating deep into the subsidy funds.
GEJ is to blame In this matter, pure and simple. But he was fighting it with technology na! In other climes GEJ cannot escape jail. |

I wish the president wisdom and success in leading the country out of comatose. You really think the president cares about the feelings of idiots that kept his project in this pitiable state? Or are you being swayed by the many irresponsible kids on this forum who doesn't even know their right from their left neither who their real enemies are? Why are you a BLOODY LIAR?? If you can snap or get the picture of the street as you claim, what stops you from snapping his house on the street to buttress your lie? Is it difficult to capture his house on the street picture you showed?
What will you benefit from misleading people? Get a life man. I've seen APC thrive on lies and half truth but this one you just did is so appalling to say the least!
Anything to make a point, innit? Please contact Sahara reporters. I'm very certain they will require your services.

Do I look like your typical Nairaland rat that post stuffs for attention? You are a full blood Warri boy that live in PH and Bayelsa but arguing with someone who lived 7 whole years in this very street? Anybody on this forum who lives or passes through PTI road in Effurun knows exactly this street called Masoje. It was a serious matter of embarrassment to Orubebe before it was fixed by the working of someone else. Am only responding to this your useless rant for the sake of people you try to mislead. Coincidentally, Keyamo is from Effurun with family compound in the same PTI road. |

If Buhari appoints only people of his clan to most positions, as he is now doing, does that mean that people from Buhari's clan are the most brilliant in Nigeria - as Keyamo would want us to accept? You are on the wrong street with me. I care less where Buhari appoints his cabinet from. All Nigerians want is good governance. This is 2015! |

Nigerians can we move away from tribalism please. The youths will never learn. They will always allow these political contractors to use them to stoke the embers of hatred and live them in limbo after getting their desired positions. I have more than 4 state commissioners plus NDDC federal commissioners where I live yet we have been struggling to install a 33KV transformer for the past 4yrs. The power situation has been awful and all they do is buy big sound proof plants and fuel with government provided diesel. Their homes are heavily protected by armed mobile police men meanwhile we all still pay same security levies. What do you gain by fighting the cause of these politicians online everyday? |
Politics › Re: Keyamo Blasts Politicians Against Buhari's Appointments Pattern by philips70(m): 8:16pm On Aug 28, 2015 |
They will soon say you are looking for appointment. Truth is bitter to these status quo merchants.
Meanwhile look at the street where Orubebe resides in Warri. This was the state throughout his tenure as minister of ND before another man arranged to fix it. The people who live near him could not enjoy his appointment into a juicy ministry as ND minister. Why kill yourself over these selfish politicians?

Just asking o. lol Now this is it. When we have been spending all our strength to make sure people who supported Buhari from the south are demonized and made un-appointable why should we cry if he doesn't find them worthy of appointments? In the meantime, let me drop these three attachments here to help explain the mind of the president and Ogbonaya Onu's expected appointment as SGF. Would have created a thread with it but the mods have seemingly blacklisted my threads from front page. It's an interesting read but many will still call it brainwash.
