Starting with GEJ while sending OBJ as a peace mediator to Guinea Bissau might mean Nigeria would have to depend on sugar cane and cocoa to pay her bills.
The EFCC are not over worked,They can handle all trio of IBB,OBJ and GEJ
This stupidity of yours is getting out of hand. How does OBJ being sent as a special envoy to GB affect the fight against corruption if he's indicted in any investigation? Has OBJ not been mediating in peace efforts around the continent?
Since it was said only the last government will be probed has GEJ been invited for any questioning by any of the agencies?

ejibaba, Have you been to court lately? Do you see their list? Let me use Abeokuta for example. Each time I had cases in Abeokuta, the court was always filled to the brim. You will see a judge with about 15- 20 cases per day. Among those cases, there would Ruling, there would be judgment, hearing of applications and the most tedious one TRIAL. You will see Judges who sit from 9 to 4pm and sometimes they have to adjourn some matters without hearing the lawyers. These processes go on every day until Mid/late July when they go on Vacation and resume late September or thereabout. I used Abeokuta because Litigation traffic is low there. You want to try Lagos, between 30 to 60 cases per day. Once the Judges see the list, he/she will mutter (you people want to kill me before my time, no problem, I will stylishly take 5 cases and adjourn the rest).

I have written all these epistles to let you appreciate how congested the courts are, so asking them to come and try new set of cases and wanting them to deliver judgment in a short-while is a suicide mission.
These people don't care about these explanations. Anything to keep their gods comfortable.

The problem of Nigeria is not with party but the individuals.

Extremely corrupt elements cross carpeting does not change their tendencies.
There's no argument about that but am shocked this promising young man was frustrated in his party. Siasia is a fresh blood I guess. The PDP as a party after that last shameful defeat should have looked inward and try to change the way they have been doing things to redeem the image of the party. It is just obvious, like the guy said above, they are not ready to change. The greed is still very much there.

PoliticsBayelsa - Moses Siasia Dumps PDP, Says No Future For Young People In Party by philips70(op): 8:52am On Aug 22, 2015
A governorship aspirant in Bayelsa state, Moses Siasia, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), accusing the party of having no future plan for young people.
In a statement released by the governorship aspirant, he accused the party leadership in the state of isolating him following his decision to champion the cause of the youths.
The statement reads in full: “For many years now, I have been actively involved in supporting successive governments in my beloved country Nigeria. I have always believed that every citizen needs to support their government for such government to succeed which was why I supported the governments of late President Umaru Musa Yaradua and that of Goodluck Jonathan. I had thought that by supporting these two governments, I would have fulfilled my patriotic duties as a citizen of my country. I have continuously done my best through my various contributions towards governance in Nigeria through my organization “Nigerian Young Professional Forum (NYPF).
“I joined the PDP when one of my overzealous cousins went to my ward to talk about registering me there. I later found the idea to be a very good one and was excited about the whole idea of party politics and making a difference.
“I continued to be actively involved in party politics from 2013 till date and the more I got involved in the politics of the party, the more discouraged I became. I saw that so many things were not been done properly and I always wanted to advice and make corrections but the more vocal I became, the more they isolated me, may be because they felt I was a threat to the business as usual way of doing things. I always wanted to see a PDP that will transform into modern day realities and a party that places high premium on the YOUTH who are the engine room of any nation but the more I pushed for youth inclusion in all affairs of the party, the more I was isolated. There was always greater emphasis on money politic rather than ideological prospects.

“I have carefully watched over the years and have come to the painful conclusion that the PDP is not ready to change its old ways of imposition, godfatherism and gangsterism.
“After the elections, it became very obvious and clear that Nigerians had rejected the PDP because they were tired of seeing the same old faces doing the same thing for16years. Faces that the people were convinced are corrupt and cant bring the desired change to the people. The people wanted new faces and something new.
“The PDP had a clear chance of redeeming its image in the eyes of the Nigerian people by injecting fresh ideas and fresh faces which would have automatically rebranded the party and restore confidence in the party. I had presented myself to the party on many occasions urging them to use me as that face with a perfect case for Bayelsa State but the party has failed to take advantage of this great opportunity.
The PDP had every opportunity to rebrand and rediscover itself after its defeat at the just concluded general election but I can now see they do not wish to change or evolve.
“I, have, therefore, today the 22nd of August decided to leave the party for ideological reasons. I can no longer stay on in the party because they do not have respect for my generation or me. I have nothing personal with the party and will continue to respect her but I think young people have no future in the party.”

I salute the political maturity in Bayelsa. I can see they are rising beyond personalities and mediocrity. Jonathan will soon dump this party.

I dare any reporter to mention any other APC 'stronghold' in Akwaibom State.

Those of us who reside in Akwaibom State are aware of the fact that after the PDP, the Accord led the APC in terms of political campaigns to all L.G.As.

Umana probably wants to lavish his loot on his team of delusional lawyers and sycophants.♦
Issue here to reasonable Nigerians is not the electability of Umana or anyone else but the discouragement of gross electoral malpractice like it happened in your state. If Udo and Akpabio knew they were too popular and Umana is less popular why go to the extent they went? One day I believe someone will go to jail with these kinds of actions. I only pity the ones that put themselves in the line of fire for these criminals and end up being killed.
PoliticsRe: Akwa Ibom Tribunal - Umana Tenders 7 Damning Video Evidences To Butress His Case by philips70(op): 10:57pm On Aug 21, 2015
The electoral law needs to be revisited if Buhari desires to strengthen the electoral system further. A beneficiary of electoral fraud whose election was cancelled by reasons of gross electoral malpractice should be barred from re-contesting and be properly prosecuted and sent to jail. These guys can't just keep eating their cakes and keeping them same time.

PoliticsAkwa Ibom Tribunal - Umana Tenders 7 Damning Video Evidences To Butress His Case by philips70(op): 10:49pm On Aug 21, 2015
The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Akwa Ibom State in the April 11 election, Mr. Umana Umana, testified at the state Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal, sitting in Abuja, with seven video clips of alleged malpractices in state governorship poll, which is now a subject of litigation.
Umana is challenging the declaration of Governor Udom Emmanuel of the Peoples Democratic Party by the Independent National Electoral Commission as the winner of the April governorship election.
The seven video exhibits were shown one after the other to buttress the APC candidate’s petition that the election was marred by irregularities and ballot box snatching.
Among the video clips shown by Umana was where the petitioner addressed newsmen, highlighting the case of election fraud in his polling unit on the day of election.
Another clip showed him having a discussion with the Electoral Officer, who purportedly confirmed that election materials were indeed carted away while expressing a sense of helplessness on the fact that no election could be held in his jurisdiction on the day of election.
The third clip showed a set of people referred to as INEC ad hoc staff in the uniform of the National Youth Service Corps members stamping ballot papers behind INEC office allegedly after the election day.
The fourth video clip showed a man, said to be a PDP local government chairman, presiding over a what was regarded as stamping of ballot papers.
The fifth clip showed a police truck and an Akwa Ibom State Transport Corporation bus allegedly used to cart away election materials and intimidate voters, who dispersed while the sixth video showed some thugs allegedly caught with election materials and interviewed by those who stopped them.
The seventh video showed a collation centre and how scores were tallied and written on forms.
Another video clip showed the announcement of results by the Resident Electoral Commissioner on Sunday, April 12, 2015, where the Returning Officer, James Epoke, said “we gave 10,598 votes to Accord Party”.
Under cross-examination by Umana and APC lawyer, Dayo Akinlaja(SAN), the petitioner stated that there were few signs of elections in 11 Local Government Areas, where he would have won if elections actually took place.
The tribunal adjourned sitting to Wednesday, August 26, when forensic experts will be called to testify.

Akwa Ibomites should be getting ready for another election. In my opinion electoral offenders like this should be prosecuted and sent to jail. It's a miscarriage of justice if the tribunal grants the prayers of the petitioner based on these evidences and still call for another election in which the offender will participate. But this is Nigeria, our laws are so kind on the mighty and very hard on the lowly.

The point is clear if Buhari wants to probe anyone he should do it and stop talking and the same gesture should be extended to all past and present political office holders irrespective of his political affiliation and regional interest.
Amaechi is one of the biggest thief and if he's probed I'm sure that Wike is aware that what goes around comes around too and this is how it should be to justify a clear path in fighting this hydra head problem called corruption.

Hypocrisy and hatred sometimes make you lose your mind and sense of reasoning. The jumbo pay for legislators were set at a time when the biggest PDP criminal of all time in the person of David Mark ably assisted by Ekweremadu held the whole nation by the jugular as senate president and deputy SP.
Interestingly this same man never stops defending this wanton rape of suffering Nigerians any time he's called upon. Precedence is a condition that's not easily erased from a system but gradually with the exemplary leadership of this president things will begin to take shape.
A cursory look at the bible might reveal PDP was one of the plagues God unleashed on Egypt when Pharaoh refused to let his people go.
