hucienda: Recall the derision especially after the elections - the number of mockery threads here sure was something.
Turns out they, the former eastern region together with Ekiti, Plateau, Taraba, Nasarawa and Nigeria's Capital Territory - albeit by hair's breadth - were indeed prescient. They stood for what is right and were spot on about the character of Buhari.
They might have lost the election but have stood right in history for generations to come.
When future generations study this present, they will know those states stood for posterity at that juncture in history.
When their grandsons and granddaughters ask them where they stood, they will simply reply they stood to be counted for what is right despite all. What if Buhari still win 2019 elections? |

Adonis86: you never see something. Buhari is not through
with you yet. You voted change in 2015, you've
seen change, you have started crying now,
because you don't want to cry later. Do you
consider what the situation would look like in
2019, if everyone should decide to take same
decision you took in 2015 by voting in Buhari for
continuity, as a pay back for your
shortsightedness of 2015? Is it not high time
your head is buried in shame with mouth and
face filled with apology and regret respectively?
I look at you, all I see is the reason why the
youth's leadership posture of the so called
leaders of tomorrow might forever be postponed
by our today's leaders. The reason is simple.
The youth are leaders of tomorrow said the
elders of today, but tomorrow came, and the
elders looked at the youths and didn't see the
preparedness in them. They saw youthful
exhaublence, orchestrated with sentiments and
hence shortsightedness in taking decisions.
Thus, they conclude that, the leadership of the
society would be thrown into anarchy, if such
flimsy minds are allowed to control the
government machinery of the state or pilot the
national affairs. Consequently, they've remained
in power, not due to self enrichments and
personal aggrandizements alone as could be
perceived from some quarters but, because our
youth are yet to restructure their minds and
expand the mental horizons, in order to be
abreast with the current realities remonstrated
and revolved around the everyday life and in all
facets of living. #standwithDonaldDuke2019 Let's meet at the polls

tete7000: And you think Buhari is managing your resources well abi? Ask yourself: Since subsidy resumed, how much is being paid as subsidy? Where is transparency? How much has been spent in looking for oil in arid North?.Who funds it? Is it captured in your budget? How much has been expended to date and what has been the result? To excess crude sale, how much is budget benchmark? What is the prevailing crude price? Has the excess crude account increased? If not, why? What is happening to excess realised from sale not captured in the budget? How is it being spent? The earlier you realised the running of this government is opaque, the better you for you. Fraud is being dailly perpetrated by Buhari's government and it is being covered up. Only a change in government will reveal the enormity of fraud of Buhari's thieving I tell you. . 2019 is not too far again Mr man. lexy2014: so what u are trying 2 say is that importers had a stock pile of rice that can feed 180million people 4 two years? . Funny. You mean that the 180 million people are eating rice everyday? For more than 4 years now,we don't know what is imported rice in our rice. Like majority of Nigerians,we have gone local and our rice taste better than those Thai chemical preserve rice. Have you ever watch how Thailand people prepare this rice and the preservative chemicals they do add so that they don't get bad if they stay in their warehouses for long? Me and my people do with local fresh rice and we are in good health with that. Not all the 180 million Nigeria population do eat rice every day and still know that some people do still have way of smuggling rice into the country |
