LEGACIES OF AN EFFECTIVE SERVICE YEAR; THE STORY OF AMB. DAVID EDET

Amb. David Edet hails from Nung Obio Enang Idoro, Uyo Local Government, Akwa Ibom State. He holds a first Degree in History and International Studies, Akwa Ibom State University.

He has served as;
Deputy Leader, Faculty of Arts House of Representatives, Akwa Ibom State University and as the former Director of Transport, Students Union Government of the same institution.

Upon his call to National Service in Boki, Cross River State, he was able to impact the Local Government through various and Impactful projects worth celebrating and worthy of recommendation.


1. REHABILITATION OF THE POLICE QUARTER GUARD IN BOKI
In the course of his service year, Amb. David Edet embarked on the rehabilitation of the Boki Divisional Police Station quarter guard which had dilapidated for a while. In the presence of the Divisional Police Officer, the project was unveiled to the Glory of God.

2. REHABILITATION OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT BUS STOP
Again, he also embarked on the rehabilitation of the dilapidated bus stop for the use of many. A project that was unveiled by the Former Local Government Chairman of the area.


3. ACADEMIC SUMMIT AND DISTRIBUTION OF 1,000 COPIES OF EXERCISE BOOK
In his leadership disposition, he organized an academic summit which was tagged " ENCOURAGING A PROACTIVE ACADEMIC SYSTEM". The event which had the Member Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Victor Abang as the Special Guest. In that submit, nine Secondary schools were beneficiaries of the Excersise Book Campaign which was aimed at encouraging students in his little capacity.

4. INTENSIVE LEADERSHIP TRAINING
He also organized a Three Months Intensive Leadership Training for students drawn from eleven secondary schools with the aim of empowering them with leadership skills which thereafter came a graduation ceremony to mark the end of the training.

I don't see age as a barrier in any kind of relationship, what matters is the individuals level of maturity.

Most of my friends are older than me, when they find out my age they're like "Na lie!" . I grew up in an environment where everyone was way older than me, that should be a contributing factor.

So, if your girl is mature enough, go for it bro.

Age is only an indicator of experience, and should never be mistaken for maturity.

Even if a woman senior me 1 to 5 years, if she has the qualities i found in a woman i will marry her, because what u want in her is respect and understanding and if u leave her for a more younger girls they might not get the qualities she possess.
I have once dated a woman who senior me with 4 years and i can tell u i enjoy my relationship with her till date even though we later part ways, there is this understanding many of them get that this small average girls don't get. So my man the choice is urs. Goodluck
