That place should not have been given out for anything other than a community park Citizens should have been involved too LordBiden: |
The money point guy goofed,he demarketted nigerias youth population education system amongst others From someone that was a part of it all before fame, that's climbing up and throwing away the bridge With friends like that who needs enemies? Even if it's true, (no talent in Nigeria) which it's not, there's a way at his level his words should build and not destroy Nigeria is one of the places where the world sources and recruits top tech talents! Our fintech here is one of the fastest in the world, and it's run by naija boys.its a system others are still trying to copy and achieve.Know that and know peace If money point can't find,he should check himself and his systems. |
obiekunie01:This is pure crap, blame your hiring managers for sending you their brothers and sisters to hire If you want top talent in any industry there are well trained people that have invested time and effort into their career. When you find them they know their worth, simple.on the other hand you lot can choose to train persons instead of complaining about lack of talent, nobody brought IT talent from heaven |
algomachine:That's actually what they offer for junior tech roles and boys are still refusing the jobs, they are making more on their virtual roles and doing multiple gigs, why give it up to seat in a toxic bank till late at night That said ,our labour laws and ministry are very weak...nigeria employers need to treat employees better |
Beautifulday:They are actually roles many many,a dime a dozen if you are interested in them look an hr friend, they are always looking for tech persons, but real tech persons think their pay isn't worth it |
Stop speaking on what you don't know Moniepoint is a fintech,he needs tech boys Naija wants to pay tech persons peanuts and use them like horses when they already get remote jobs that pay them steady without them leaving the house Tech boys and girls are refusing naija tech role with nonsense pay and toxic work environments It's not just moniepoint it applies across sectors and many banks Naija should pay better and profer better working conditions.simple These same tech persons that you say are unavailable are been recruited daily remotely with their naija education.be deceiving yourself, some even get coas to move |
Allwell96:The question is upgrade it to what? For a location like that, the general public ought to be carried along and their consent sought |
The real question is what was the land repurposed for Last time I was in abuja there was a fence, leaving only 1/3rd of the park to the accessible to the public The people there said the restricted parts were for a residential estate Pastor Sarah is right in this one ,that land should have been left for the public, like central park. It's literarily where Abuja people do their morning walk, they were now cramped to the part that was left Usurping green zones is wrong, whoever re allocated that land did a great injustice to the people of abuja Talk of selfish interests over the common good. And why is Sarah omakwu the only one talking about it? |
Africa needs to probe the protest leaders Looks to me like the hands of esau and voice of another situation They seem sponsored to say what others cannot say In addition the AU should consider a trial of the protest leaders if it results in the lynching of any African. We must as a joint union take a stand against this as a deterent for future opportunists |
How you lots willingly provide information without asking "why do you need to know" that part we all need to relearn |
you are also exploting them by putting up their pictures and names in this post, take them down, its a crime |
you all should say the truth and do what needs to be done Goverment should create a system that takes almajiri kids off the street give them rehabilitation ,vocational training, a decent home and reintergrate them into society at 18 ill say this is where the northern women and their gold have failed...they should have spear headed this at state level society should also shame women who agree to be 2nd and 3rd wives to these men...... and the men too |
that said this one doesnt look fulani... we need strong laws against kidnapping |
you all underestimate the Nigerian police and armed forces. really. They will get him. Hes a goner. He will be parraded when they choose to as for the eventual outcome after his arrests, thats the part we need to follow up better on. for example where is evans today. sentenced,yes...but where is he ? |
watching to see what the political ,academic and religious leaders will say about the sentencing of these of these people knowing how other sane countries address this. Silence should never be the option. societies dont grow when everyone sits on the fence and refuse to speak up in the face of evil. The police have done their part, arrests have been made, whose part is next? who keeps an eye and reports to the public diligently on this case, how long should it take and how will it take? I will say that Nigeria needs a special court (s) arrangement for terrorism related violence, it should be an open court, it should include military, police and other high ranked officers with standing protection in its ranks. Cases in that court and judgement should be fast tracked. This scenario where terrorism related charges goes through our long ,cumbersome existing legal process is justice delayed.... when justice is delayed, justice is been denied.... if we can do it for traffic offences, why not terrorism related violence and kidnapping? |
Why? Nigeria cannot afford divisive decisions at a time like this. Someone ought to take full responsibility for the blunder and the right agencies of the government must be seen investigating this as a future deterent Which agency is responsible for investigating this at this time? |
These 2 policies are an embarrassment to the whole nation 1. Reuse of textbooks is a crime.its against ethics. Just think piracy.how an entire nations education sector does not know this beats me. The authors did not produce their book to be reused or photocopied The country literarily justified poverty by giving kids old textbooks previously used ,who does that.whay does it cost them to budget for free learning resources,or produce books that can have open source or free use How do we justify this kain poverty thinking Sweden buys 1000 copies of any books published in it's country our own people are asking teachers to erase books to be reused. Education minister should be sacked for this alone 2. As for graduation for primary and secondary, all of them are not well again. Let parents and schools who choose to celebrate milestones that keep kids in school if they choose to,that's not what the ministry should be regulating It's just another example of a stupid sub national policy from akwa ibom national is adopting as if they don't have brain Which stakeholders did they ask before scrapping it? Those are things that should be optional and definitely not national policy Village education minister we have here... |
and no one can get the pictures of the thugs and share them for the public to report them to the police they need to have their day in court |
Summary Women don't give up everything to submit to or marry an irresponsible man that cannot protect and provide for the woman |
The power and virtue of patience is often underestimated Like in this scenario for instance Kudos to the Nigerian team No life is worth the ego of small men who think small.patience is indeed a virtue Welcome home home to our gallant airmen |
This was one of those in buhari and his right hand man's camp during his administration as nhis boss, very difficult man that time Someone should bring up the story of his escapades then.wasnt he the one that refused to be fired... |
Saudi arabia the supposed home base of islam does not tolerate these radical teachings that promote terrorism They are strict on monitoring mosques and deporting or arresting imams that promote such I saw a clip where one of their ministers was saying they had deported over 1000 such potential radical teachers in a short period They said to the European counterpart paraphrased "you are been politically correct with extremism, cannot know islam more than us" Some even said naija own gumi is persona non grata there Saudi clamps hard on terrorism financiers have you seen their sentence there? So why and how does Nigeria that's predominantly sunni have this sort of evil? Is islam not just an excuse for inherent evil in some people? If so why do other muslims endorse these evil doers with heir silence |
The numbers again according to this article 1.5billion litres import approved in November ( the highest since the refineries started functioning, that's enough to make dangote crazy) while some are thinking maybe for oble in December, then we read.... 7.5 billion approved for importation first quarter of 2026.(Make it make sense...) again what's the gap per quater after factoring in local production and wastage, so another person doesn't come repeat the same crap |
And we must not let anyone derail the topic... The issue again is the volume of fuel been imported appropriate to gaps in the market after local production is accounted for or is it in excess It's a simple question the regulatory agency must answer And the bridging fees matter,is that not another payout in disguise Nigerians don't like to be accountable The agency should bring the maths for the specified period -Total official country petrol needs or consumption =x litres -Total fuel produced in country by local refineries=x litres -Gap=x litres -Approved import=x litres Simple as abc the job of the regulatory agency and sabotage if any will be clear... Someone should please bring those estimates let us see something |
No one is saying to cancel all importation, the question is the volume been approved for importation over said period Is it an unfair balance to production by local refineries, that is are they creating to much surplus... If yes, then they are sabotaging local production towards favoring importers and that is cruel to dangote and generations unborn A supply chain analyst can review this and give fact based report. and if anyone in the agency is found obtaining personal proceeds to enable such then, that's economic sabotage, shikena You cannot kill local refineries by importing excessive surplus and expect local production to thrive |
National interest must come first in this matter Nigeria should be exporting petrol not importing, how can everyone not see that? Is that not common sense? Taxes from our refineries can make us great. Compare Dangotes present taxes and our education budget. The leadership of the regulatory agency must demonstrate how importing so much fuel benefits the country when we have a refinery in country.how do we convince non Nigerian investors to invest when this is happening to a Nigerian? How do we make the nations future better? ICPC owes the nation and future generations due diligence in this matter. All eyes are on you |
So the ordered import of so much fuel when a local company is producing Is that not economic sabotage for the country Shouldn't regulatory body ensure our local product is mopped up first before imports, the same imports that crippled the country for years Talk about personal gains over national interest Every well meaning Nigerian should side with dangote on this.Dangote alone can transform a lot from taxes on his refinery...it took courage to fly that venture, how can the nation look aside while it's been sabotaged and we say we want growth for the nation thriving industries are crucial to growth |
Northern women should speak up more Condem banditry and terrorism in all it's ramifications in society.condem men that kill and steal other peoples children in t name of religion or whatever guise Condemn it in religion and every part of society A generation is growing that never knew the calm beautiful kind and peaceful north. The women of the north, your voices are powerful...you all should speak up Now as for that turji,if he likes he should not surrender, global eyes are on him now... |
P1PrinceKT:This is a lie you all perpetuate repeatedly Nigeria has 500 different languages, More than 70,% of these are In the north, Zamfara alone is a melting point of many languages, the number will shock you. They are not hausa, same with gombe and others. Many are Christians and non muslims, they don't speak hausa primarily Someone needs to cross tabulate the communities been wiped off by the languages they speak Half of Niger State speaks Yoruba, the parts of Niger under incessant terrorist attack is Yoruba speaking. Kainji, mokwa and it's environs are Yoruba communities So how did you arrive again at your dot in the circle in the north. |
This speech sounds like an excuse. It reads like it's saying we don't extend sharia to non muslims Is that true? Is that really really true? Do Christians really live without harassment from hisbah in the north The first thing to be done is disband that hisbah completely. If they want to exist they should go and face terrorists in the bush by Insisting kidnapping is sharia, anything short of that their existence while also carrying guns is an aberration That said waiting to hear the sultan use Islamic teachings to condemn the kidnapping of students, and adults of both religion for ransom in he name of islam... Waiting for his strong condemnation. Those will be powerful as a deterrent.Indeed we wait sir, also add a call to action to all your followers to wholesomely condemn anyone involved |
These are weighty allegations Hope they have true evidence and it's not any form of witch-hunting Terrorism funding should not be played with if they are false accusations. It places the risk of not taking real financers seriously over time because everyone will assume it's witch hunting |
Why not the terrorism act, why the child protection law You all be playing there Plus they moved them across states borders makes it a crime that supercedes the state law |
