To all the Nigerians everywhere that voted for chidinma, may God bless you all,and all our children everywhere in the world. There will be a next time for those that did not get to vote,do better next time.Lets always support each other like this against any global antagonist. |
Common sense says majority of the videos would probably be AI, or they have a culture that accepts wives sharing, sleeping with 400 women and most married to high ranking officials on video... doesn't sound probable, But then the gullible believe all things, critical thinkers would pause and wait to see where all this is going |
Sharpsharp00123:Flagship soup is the culturally celebrated food or soup for that tribe, it's the okoho for the tiv, eko or pap for the ogbomoso, amala for the oyo etc, doesn't change the fact that even northerners like amala, do you understand now? |
tuoyoojo:It's the drs fault for not japaing, that's the kind of abuse they should expect as part of the work when working on Nigeria public hospitals |
These should have been prevented by those arresting officials and people should be sacked for the leak When one billionaire like that in Nigeria was been blackmailed by some 2 sisters with a video, our police seized their laptop and said they had many videos of prominent people on it, till today, none of it leaked.Thats professionalism and common sense The women, their families and all involved are the victims in this matter,I hope it doesn't turn out to be AI generated truly at the end of the day, forensic experts should take a closer look |
Seunmsg1:I think she probably heard it as the flagship soup for different Yoruba tribes,it's one of the flagship soups for the ondo, ekiti, and osun axis, like ewedu and gbegiri combination is to the oyo |
This is quite interesting, and pointless. Whoever likes egusi should eat it however they like. That said different Yoruba tribes historically prepared it differently, so it's strange to say it's not Yoruba food. I think people need to understand the tribes of the Yoruba people have a common language but have their unique cultural differences, from food,to clothes,to dance etc,so the fact that one knows about some Yorubas you met somewhere does not make it a finding that applies to all Yoruba tribes.e.g egusi and okro would not be one of the style for oyo,but has always been for yoruba in ondo town for ages Egusi and efo for the ekiti. Egusi only for some other tribe etc. No one cap fits all. |
Kobojunkie:Not the unranked report , the circulating dollars in country report. |
SmartyPants:Then you don't know Nigeria, the higher proportion of dollar in Nigeria is not even in the official system, and majority of Nigerians access dollar needs through these unofficial sources. That's where the problem is,it's artificial scarcity due to individuals deliberately hoarding available dollars sometimes to make the dollar rate go high. There's data by the way that says up to 90 percent of dollar in Nigeria is not in the bank... Can't confirm the exact percentage but I recall it was ridiculous |
GloriousGbola:It should be SI unit of stupidity and bad belle. Plus it's like they don't they have enough sensible people that can speak up against all this nonsense in that country |
SmartyPants:Where do you buy dollars when you need it? That's the place to start... make it easy to get dollars. Foreign remittances alone was more than our dollar demand in one quater in 2024 |
We need a chidinma appreciation page.... and anthem, at this rate she has become the mascot for a united black Africa across borders, someone, anyone, or silverbird give us that page. |
Draconian policy here, this cannot be the way to go about this. Think incentives, think high yielding dollar funds, think easy availability of dollars when wee need it, demystify access to the dollar in Nigeria and make things easy for people, that would be a good place to start. |
A village somewhere in benue state found gold on their farms and a week later, armed bandits had taken over the village and everyone had to relocate in fear. There's a connection somewhere. |
They don't have Sims easily available, that's another problem, wanted to patronize them for promoting local businesses their Sims were hard to find. This is so the know, would still like to add them to the Sim collection for internet providers |
We need a song for chidinma for when she goes to miss universe, that song will hit a million views, someone should please produce it. A good song with lyrics like ,we will survive and thrive , we will lift the nations up kind of song for all immigrants everywhere. Like that dare art alade song," na my life I dey live"... |
Jobless nonentities with no future ambition will tell her to drop it. It's her time of glory,it's an honorable title, and yes she has earned it. Can't think of a better candidate than her for this, she reps naija well in class, knowledge, her proud representation of her Nigerian heritage and poise. She has also been writing memoirs recently so she has the team and skills as well. Nonentity dundees should go back to their jobless nfa vibes and let the woman be |
This is a win for the country,a big hit and not a miss.I can see her as the Nigerian brand ambassador, beauty, brains and class to represent Nigeria globally at that. I hope they let her shine and speak up in that position, naija needs its |
In summary they held our national team and officials against their will, denying them access to basic necessities they would require before their match. That sounds like outright kidnap of Nigerias National team.. they (libya) should go to court, they are learners,Nigeria will floor them well Nigeria should please not send civil servant lawyers but a competent legal team, this should be interesting, |
Calitoscassius:And his father got a comendation from the american Goverment for reporting his own son ahead of the attack to the US goverment but they handles it with levity... whats your point again? Libya deliberately endangered and maltreated our super eagles, Libya was completely responsible for this gaffe it appears, and Nigeria as a Nation is entitled to her rage on this matter. |
Calitoscassius:Just keep quiet, don't talk, cause you have zero self awareness, even a child should not speak like this, work on yourself please, think before you speak, have values, stand for something good and honourable, its never too late. |
Never let a crises go to waste, Nigeria has done the right thing by refusing to play, but that is not enough, a letter of apology from soneone high up would be good too, if not ,its time to black list them as a country till they have sense. If they can do that to the super eagles, they are no friend of ours. |
Better pikin, african queen reping a better Africa all the way to miss universe. From SA ,to Nigeria,to Togo,to Mozambique... Shine girl,shine.... Djs should play that kizz daniel song for her whenever she turns up... (follow me to Mozambique ....disturb their timeline...),chidinma,win miss universe while at it |
Badadvisor:Wondering who they are trying to scam and how it got posted on the front page |
At the OP,hope you know we know this is an AI generated conversation and response to said conversation copied and pasted here, The tell tale signs are everywhere to see...it's a ridiculous attempt to paint the first set of conversations as authentic conversations and the views of real persons, don't even know what to say,but not cool at all.you all are learners |
Resigned or asked to resign, either way he resigned, and was not fired, end of story That said The author of this piece is very bitter, his write up tells us more about the authors dissatisfaction with his own life and self worth than it does about the ajuri. The author should continue to wallow in his own bitterness and self inflicted worthlessness while Ajuri has nowhere else to go but up! Ajuri was above the usual spokerson in class, carriage ,analytical skills and other technical capacity and yes we noticed.I guess we are going back to the era of market women type spokespersons. If this was due to the kings men shenanigans, then Nigeria indeed did not deserve him |
I no want talk before, but someone actually said this? Shame on you all, that guy (Ajuri) earned all of his stripes. He has been the most technical and cerebral spokesperson Nigeria has ever had, guess its back to the era of beer parlor like retorts from spokespersons that are supposed to be adults. Quite sad indeed. |
She has at least 1 percent Nigerian blood, that's enough for us... she welcome in Nigeria anytime, and free to compete too |
Abeg ,which one on the site is the chidinma lady? Someone help point her out so I can vote and send people too to vote |
Welcome chidinma,I'm voting for you all through this contest, chin up and smile.Naija is rooting for you |
Again let us all remind ourselves that only the togolese add t to their yoruba names, hence her dad adetshina is most likely togolese. But then we are not xenophobic in Nigeria |
Sepukku great job you are doing here, just remember to keep it civil even if they don't deserve it. Plus we need a nairaland dedicated update post for when the voting starts,I have never voted in any of these TV shows but I'm eager to cast many votes for the chidinma togolose babe. SA should Waka pass, and let the girl breathe. They should watch her rise on account of their hate, that would be very refreshing to see As for the clown singing SA show organizers praise,it shows she has zero self awareness, and obviously not very smart.if she was she would have held back at this time |
