The sanity of the streets of oshodi (which you could not pass anyhow in the 80's and 90's without your bags or bodies sliced amongst other vices) and other places in Lagos is because some people kept those thugs at bay.Kept them in order through a System.They were supported by Government who produced the needed infrastructure and support through constructive community engagement

I have been waiting for this point.Labour party actually started as a Yoruba party.in recent history Mimiko and others used the LP to offset ruling parties and achieve unprecedented win

The point is how come Obi could not consolidate on those people structures and history for 25 percent in a historically strong LP state like ondo and others? In summary he did not try enough.

He is a candidate that cannot build bridges but builds walls. He could not even win over PDP, nor LP . He definitely cannot Lead a country of 36 states and over 250 tribes

We need a candidate that can build allegiances and negotiate alliances for majority states. For not winning 25% of 25 states,Obi is not that man

What duty of care? The school had a nurse on duty who stated the girl was dead on the spot but she couldn’t certify her dead because she is a nurse. Do we have paramedics in Nigeria? Where are they trained? All the people acting as paramedics in Nigeria are nurses. What do you mean by duty if care？ You just heard the term and you are running agog with it. In standard setting, the people around would only initiate BLS protocol and call for help with ambulance. The ambulance would be there within five minutes. For your information, it is govt that ensures such ambulances are readily available. What the school owe them they did… they had a nurse who tried to resuscitate. They took her to the closest medical center.So tell me, what do you mean by duty of care for someone that suddenly arrested? They can’t do beyond what the system allows… even if they got her to hospital alive and she needed an immediate catheterization, it won’t be available anyway . Yes, we all need a scape goat in things like this… until you see the result of the autopsy, you are just spewing childish trash about duty of care.

I see the medical personnel have finally woken to their moral duty of educating the public

Please note epidemic cause of death have protocols which will automatically lead to the school been shut asap. In addition they are investigated and usually confirmed with 24-48hrs.

What and where is Lagos States protocol a SC regards deaths reported in a school?

What circumstance and How many days should the school be shut? How long should the investigation be,when and on what grounds will the school be opened? If this answers where not provided when the school was been shut,then yes its a classic (knee jerk response). And that is very bad for the country.

How many scandals did you hear of in your secondary school days? All school had 1 or 2. If we close schools or refuse to use them as a result of the actions of some stupid secondary school students outside school.Will any of your school's abroad still exist?

uK secondary schools are now coming to recruit in Nigeria for boarding secondary schooling in the UK. Is that not ridiculous? Serious capital flight because we are demarketting our own schools ourselves

I know of parents who wanted to send their kids to boarding secondary school in Nigeria from abroad, but the Dowen story settled that matter.

We should stop this trend of demarketting Nigeria and her institutions,it has long term effects beyond just mere beer parlour gossips
