Education › Re: ABU Builds 1-barrel-per-day Oil Refinery by phoenix90(m): 8:12am On Nov 12, 2016*. Modified: 1:06pm On Nov 12, 2016 |
Birniwa: Yet the country sells fuel as high as N175/ltr in many places despite the so-called abundance of refineries in the SS? Illiteracy kills faster than anything at least in our society. I blame your parents. The government of the day should speedily enact laws that enable private firms to set up mini-refineries and reduce the monopoly in that sector. Buhari promised transparency and total turn around of our refineries to meet the demands of the people, but he is being lackadaisical in his approach to it. If the Dangote refinery comes up it will be the only privately owned refinery in the country, think of what such monopoly can create. Of course it will ease pressure off the foreign reserve you will say but will pile it on the poor masses just like in the cement sector. A lot of southerners are capable of setting up modular refineries with less logistics and distribution cost due to their proximity to the source, but the govt will always frustrate such efforts and even criminalize the crude approach to it, instead of giving them support technically and otherwise. Look at the whole cost of setting up a refinery in faraway Kaduna the logistics and distribution risks and costs. We can make things simple for ourselves in this country, why should we always seek to be politically correct. Damn!!!! |

Seun: Exactly, and here it is: http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/
(Hillary Clinton has a 65% chance of winning, so we know that "a woman" is likely to win. She's expected to win 48.4% of the popular vote, to Trump's 45.5%, which would be very narrow. The expected electoral vote gap is also quite narrow at 291 for Clinton to 245 for Trump. Also, of course Hillary Clinton will have trouble passing bills in a republican congress, and due to her troubles with the FBI they will try to indict her) Seun na this one you go carry for head. You no dey use eye see church prophesy. Biko hapu TB Joshua and his marketing. |

Mehn!!, you're just spot on. Why sign an agreement that will put you in chains, when you've not even industrialized to say the least, we still have a long way to go and carbon emissions will be part of that process. Unless there are other alternative means to the industrialisation of the Nigerian state I wonder why we have to sign the agreement. Well, what do they know. luvinhubby: Nonsense, when you are calculating duties at N305 -$1 & costs about N 3.5 million to clear a 40ft container. Why won't you have bogus figures to post as increased revenue at the destructive expense of local businesses. Absolutely spot on. The calculation is not even on 305/$1. For the month of August till date it's been 313/$1. The impact on the local economy has been devastating. Amaju Pinnick is quite a disappointment for Nigerian football. I see no reason why he will be seeking for a seat in CAF or FIFA when the very office he occupies in Nigeria is a mess. Out football is experiencing it's worst downturn in years safe for the NPFL which I still believe the hardwork of Nduka Irabor and Shehu Dikko has made popular thus far. Pinnick being a man with good sports administrative background and wonderful recommendations from top football stakeholders has left little to be desired. His days are surely numbered in the NFF. FIFA ko CAF ni. Get ur house in order first. |

Travel › Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by phoenix90(m): 2:03pm On Aug 24, 2016 |
bellong: In summary, find below the steps in applying...
1. Check if your occupation is on SOL/CSOL or nominate a closely related occupation that you can prove. Also check the quota percentage to know if you still stand a chance. You can search for occupations and assessment info on www.anzscosearch.com & Dibp site.
2. Write English test (PTE, IELTS, Toefl) based on your preference and your skill assessment body requirement.
3. Check your assessment requirement from your assessing body and submit your application providing them with the necessary documents.
4. Calculate your points based on your situation.
5. Submit your EOI if you have up to 60 points and wait for invitation.
6. Lodge visa and make payment after invitation. Frontload medicals, PCC and form 80 may help fasten your processing.
NB
For some occupations like Doctors, Nurses,(Most medical and health related professions), Social workers, Lawyers and Psychologists, you will first need to be registered with the registration body of each profession before you can start Permanent resident visa processing. Some require that you write some exams before you are registered while some don't. Detailed information can be found on the body's website. You're quite a genius in clarity of information. Thanks for this exposé. I have a question. It goes thus: I graduated with a second class upper division in Botany from a good university in Nigeria and have worked in a freight forwarding/ clearing agency for 2 years post-Nysc. What do you advise me to choose as my skill if am to apply for the PR? I have looked up job description for freight forwarders on the occupation list but I couldn't find it. And I haven't worked in a botany related field since except during IT. I appreciate ur kind response in anticipation. |
