Wrong question. The right question is what DOPE service or skill do you have that people will buy?

My 2 cents on the ranking matter, using myself as a yardstick.

- I think there's no longer a focus on keywords like before as everyone observed. Paying any Tom, Dieck, and Halimi for ranking services is usually you giving someone free launch, buying insults and controversy in the process. Too much drama. Buy a carton of Orijin instead. I should have in hindsight.

- Using my bestseller as a yardstick, its ranking recently has been in response to account activity. I have a good idea where my gig will be every day, all things being equal. However, based on metrics like response rate, buyer ratings and delivery percentage and the likes, it moves. Anytime I get a late delivery or lots of deliveries with no reviews given, it drops. Once I get a bunch of reviews and stats go up, it moves back to the optimum position.

- There's no science to Fiverr gig ranking. The only formula that has worked for me is hard work, great customer service, and high-quality deliveries. Repeat customers will get you from $5/order to $50/order real quick. I made Level 2 in exactly 60 days from account opening on the back of 3 clients. One good order always deserves another. It has never failed me.

- Offer solutions NOT invoices. Buyers trust your opinion if you present it in a legible, gbaguan-free manner.

- By all means, get the tools of your trade. A writer with no Copyscape Premium or Grammarly, is that one writer? Don't be a Yahoo Boy No Laptop.


I'll add more if anything else comes to mind.

Lol... Every seller has a right to name a price, every buyer has a right to refuse. It all depends on how the buyer plans to recoup his investment given the known risks of the famous PayPal Hammer.

Most people who exchange money here do not rely on it to make a living, they have means of livelihood so exchange is just experimental for them. The people that rely on exchange for business don't last, they come into the exchange business and get hyped within two months Paypal show them shege and they are off the block. So you will be doing yourself with this idea of yours.

This is very true. The strongest PayPal account possible is a North American account with 100% verification with original documents (verifiable telephone bill or house utility bill, bank statement, Photo ID) and I can say according to my level of ignorance that it will get limited after 50 - 80 email changes which usually occurs within 3 months or less. This is after spending upwards of $200 to get it opened and verified. UAE accounts cannot last beyond a month as an active exchanger with PayPal. Most times, when your account then gets limited, it's when the bulk of your funds are available. One profile change would trigger a review and when PayPal asks for invoices and receipts and proof of source/remittance of all transactions in the past 7 days on your account. Where do you start from especially when your clients move on immediately to the next available person? It is a business for the benefit of making profits but I think we must all understand that sometimes, the money launderer is more expensive than the armed robber.

The bolded is very rarely true. I really wish exchangers could truly make that kind of margin, there would be more of them available for service. The only way you can sell your dollars at black market rate is to withdraw to a legitimate bank account, withdraw it in cash and send it down to be converted at the black market for you. I think only one or two exchangers here can do that so they give the best rates. You would be shocked if you knew the reality the rest face. Before buying rates can go up, you'd have to convince eBay and Chinese merchants to buy at a higher rate. These are the core users of PayPal funds besides the occasional student receiving his allowance and the likes.

Payoneer rates are higher because your funds can be withdrawn via the ATM for cash if you're abroad at a competitive rate. Less charges, in some countries, Payoneer withdrawals are 5-10% higher than official exchange rates, in other countries up to 40% or more (Nigeria case in point where there's an abyss between parallel and official markets). PayPal carries a set of complications that only those who have been bitten can testify to. At the end of the day, there is more than one way to withdraw funds off Fiverr and other online workplaces. The ease of use and convenience is another story. Without exchangers, most Nigerians will not be able to work on Online Freelance websites and I think they play a very important yet vilified, unappreciated role in this ecosystem.

In conclusion, it is always our right to decide which withdrawal method works best for us to receive appropriate value for our hard earned monies. We also owe it to ourselves to understand the realities before going on withdrawal strike because Abokifx has set a benchmark.
