2. If there ever was unjust court....Fiverr's Support and Trust and Safety team would both win gold medals uncountable times
I have made money...I have lost money....I have not been able to access money I made as and when due because of the two reasons above
I am as much an optimist person as I am a realistic person....I am sharing the good, the bad and the ugly...to help those after me...that's all...Telling it as it is... No embellishments...
Come to think of it...if I were that bad, why would the same guy responsible for the lockdown of my funds commit to a new contract as soon as this one is over...and yet he caused me inability to access my funds for nearly a month now... Ok |

Best selling front page gig denied and unable to withdraw cleared funds for almost 30 days now? Reason?
A client complained about a late delivery. The same client who approved one delivery out of several deliveries that made up the job. Now, until all the deliveries are made, I cannot access any funds and all funds even those that cleared before this incident. So my advise...don't be so sure...the odds are against you on that platform....it is just a matter of time...if you on the platform long enough...it will happen So pessimistic lately... |

hiremyminivan: I never said it is easy/it was easy, see my previous posts dating back to February when I came on board this train
But I can admit now that it is not a fair world Has there ever been a completely fair marketplace from PayPal to Payoneer to AliExpress to Amazon or eBay or even the much-vaunted Upwork? Every marketplace has its issues. Sorry for your loss but I assume you've not done the work so it's not particularly revenue, so more like account receivable. The way I see it, there are more merits to Fiverr than demerits and even though it seems like an unfair practice, despite refunds and cancellations and the likes, the seller still ultimately come up trumps. My impression is that there are so many unscrupulous buyers on Fiverr who will take advantage of the Escrow system to gain an unfair advantage. I'd expect that where a customer has an 180-day window to contest PayPal transactions, it takes 2 minutes to dispute a transaction that took a seller 10 days of hard labour to do. Fiverr will definitely not bear the loss, the same way a bank will not bear the loss for fraudulent transactions. Either way, it's a steady grind. Sh*t happen, keep moving. Transpose the occurences on Fiverr to any business model and the same thing happens in different forms. Unaccepted deliveries, bounced cheques, robbery e.t.c Last word, I don't think solely depending on Fiverr can be helped at times, starting an offline business requires capital which requires saving or a rich bae a lá Bobrisky. The fastest way to the village still remains doing nothing or sitting on your arse tracking gig analytics. Have a productive week ahead, everyone. Heads down, eyes front. |

What dobyou mean about account name? Username?
I use a female picture not white she's Spanish should I leave it
What do you think I can do to boost sales a little Real name on the account not username You can leave it. No harm cos like I said, it's unproven the effect of picture Your existing customers are your best pool. Msg them and ask what they want. |

Thawarplay: Holla!
When you got deployed to Nigeria what's the next thing to do
Fiverr deployed me.... Nothing, best months in sales sometimes comes after deportation. - Change your account name to your real name - You can leave your picture as is or change to something impersonal. White face, Nigerian flag is usually ill-advised but ultimately, the effect isn't proven - Be positive, ignore red arrows on the gig analytics. Instead, court your best-selling customers and make sure they establish some relationship so that your big ticket sales can repeat - Be optimistic. - DO NOT ABANDON THE ACCOUNT. This is a common advice but believe me, a Nigerian level 2 account is better than a new level 1 account in more ways than one. Too long, didn't read? Keep your head and keep on working. |

@Hiremyminivan
I don't think the problem is the message you're trying to pass across. The issue I think is the how. 900 words to deliver 3 tips or to further your assumption about Fiverr. For a good writer, you should know about being verbose. I read the entire 904 words of your post, I don't know how many people would. That's the average length of a post on Medium. Maybe if you were more concise, more people will appreciate the message. Keep up the good work though. You'd help more people if you spoke more to your audience. Cheers! |

Everybody is now a 5-star rated seller Even if it is one paid-for review. yemi2plus: Now, tell me how do I move up in the Fiverr ranking system if not to buy reviews or beg clients to drop 5 stars reviews? Know that the later is against Fiverr's term. Or imagine a situation where a buyer drop a good review and even give you tip but mistakenly rated you 1 star? So you see, there are many reviews why people buy reviews and I believe Fiverr did same when they started.
PS: I became a level two seller in less than 90 days with over 90 orders completed and I didn't buy any review until I made this level. You hit the nail on the head. I've seen Level 1 in 30 days, Level 2 in 60 days more than 50 reviews received from account opening. I've also seen 6 months no order by mistake. And staying on the top is harder than even swimming to the surface. Sh*t changes overnight, here today, gone tomorrow. Even some "5-star seller/$3000 a month/God is doing it for us/teamfiverrguru" bros here are busy looking for magic formula up and down to reclaim lost glory. Find your work. Do your work. Face your work. Not everyday count down to join 1,345,039 Level 2 sellers already on Fiverr looking for a miracle to Level 3. |

Pot of beans. hiremyminivan, Mr. Johnny might have a point underneath the drivel. Long posts rock, P.S is meant to be your TLDR and that is even longer than the main post. I admire your enthusiasm but Fiverr is just a pot of beans. Recreating a top seller's entire gig and profile might not get you an order in 3 years. Higher prices are great to have. Me, I love writing, I'd do it for free but what's the sense in that? High-amount tickets, fewer orders, low-amount tickets, more orders. As long as you're working and not stalking Don Jazzy on Twitter waiting for first-to-lead recharge card, we'll all be fine. |

hiremyminivan: End Goal is financial independence and a big part of that is diversification - that is not depending on a single source of income no matter how great that source of income maybe, so one does not end up like Nokia or BlackBerry
I did not mean that Fiverr cannot be a full-time job, why not, if not
But there is a story online of someone who tried to depend wholly and solely on Upwork until Upwork policies led to his rejection from the system and a very bitter fight that raged on for months
I'd love to see a Nigerian Top Seller
The issue is what is one is using freelancing as a stop gap measure or in freelancing in a sector that he or she does not want to be publicly associated with then, such a person may have reasons not to make it a full-time thing.
N1,000,000.00 a month makes a lot of sense especially when you can decide your hours.
Even for America making $10,000 a month is not that bad You're right on most points. |
Business › Re: EXCLUSIVE : How To Make Level 2 Seller On Fiverr In A Month As A Nigerian Seller by Phony200(m): 3:34pm On Apr 27, 2017 |
KaBabs1: Ohh. I run mine mostly as a business though, so I agree with the paid employees part. It affords you the liberty to have more than one gig that is doing well because all you have to do is focus on getting more jobs and outsource it to them. I see 5 of my gigs ranked highly on front page each time I use certain keywords (even broad ones o) and I get contacted by lots of prospective buyers everyday. I'd be making a whole lot more if I had more people to outsource to.
I'm in the writing niche. You don't expect me to write different 20,000 word eBook in a month all by myself now. I have a team of writers that support me. Trust me, they are good. They are better than me sef. Only thing is we share my money and with the $$ dropping against the Naira daily, I wonder how much longer this will last. Cool. |

KaBabs1: This person that you said makes $7k - $10k is Nigerian and uses his Nigerian details on Fiverr? What niche is he/she in, please? He's not Nigerian. Can't remember what country he's from again but I know he does video animation and has been rocking this kind revenue for like 2 years now steady. If there is one thing I learned, it was that you can do this full-time with paid employees at a certain level and have only ONE gig. This for me is the aspiration. |
Business › Re: EXCLUSIVE : How To Make Level 2 Seller On Fiverr In A Month As A Nigerian Seller by Phony200(m): 1:17pm On Apr 27, 2017 |
hiremyminivan: Lol, and don't forget that freelancing is a means to an end, and not the end in itself. Build a portfolio and check out or invest in other income streams, if you see bigger than chop money! The more I look at Fiverr success stories, the more I see that the mentality that freelancing is not the end itself is debatable. Have you previewed the team account feature? That's the permanent site. Also, if you are able to sustain NGN1 million after jumping exchanger hoops monthly, I'd say that's as good an income stream as you can think of. I saw a seller that does $7000- $10,000 monthly on the average, starting price $250. He said he's doing pretty much nothing else. I'd say the same for most top rated sellers. It has the potential to be full-time if you are able to put your real name on the account and have the correct location. Then the possibilities are endless. I'd like to see a Nigerian Top Seller one of these days and I have a feeling it is closer than we think. |
