The killings will continue as soon as the green grasses continue to wither away. For the moment due to the abundant rain, there is still enough green grasses to feed the herds.

lend him half of what he asked for but within you just assume that that is a sacrifice you have to make for love. If he's grateful to the point of paying you back then he is indeed ur man. This days people only know how to borrow never to pay back, they will quickly put up a fight thereby annulling the friendship.

NaijaReddit:
As humans, we all have stories but Life could be frustrating if you make efforts to be successful and it seems not be working.

I just need a sincere advice cos I'm just on a cross road! Sometimes, I fear I'm cursed, sometimes, I feel I have not just done enough.

I grew up in a good home and though I've done some nasty things while I was growing, I think I've been able to build some principles and good moral bearings.

People say I'm intelligent and have ideas and it seems to be true. I did well in Secondary School and had admission into the University shortly after Secondary School, but Life after that, seems to be unfair.

I dropped from Uni after much struggles in my first year. I went into Business and almost when I began flourishing, I was dubbed in Lagos by our Brothers from the East.
Since then, I've gone into 4 different business and all seems not to be working. I come across huge opportunities but something must always come in the way of breakthrough.

After that I got self trained in industrial safety industry, and became a contract staff, two months into the job, the company lost the contract.

Recently I conceived a project for a particular State government, it was implemented, but not before I was pushed away from the team, and this isn't the first time.

I've prayed and I've fasted, even visited other places, but things doesn't seem to change.

Givers, they say never lack but I don't see it work for me. I've done my best for fellow humans, I've paid fees for people, fed families and others, but nothing seems to be working for me.

I can go on an on with the narrative.

It's my Birthday, but at 28, I'm so scared of tomorrow. Anyone who have been here before? I'm contemplating selling an organ but I'm afraid I might even get dubbed in the process.
Life could be so funny a times but no matter how funny it could be we yet don't always find it so easy to laugh. My brother I'll suggest you keep been strong. Your opportunity will come at the appointed time even if it all looking so gloomy now.

I laughed after reading ur writeup,u call farm supervisor just?dats absurd,u talk out of ignorance, let me enlighten u..A farm supervisor is same as a farm Manager who oversees d day to day activities of a farm,u tink it's all abt putting fish in a tank nd rearing? No it isnt..der r calculations u must encounter lik;fcr cal, specific growth rate cal, average weight cal,Pearson sq cal for production of feed amongst others..its nt all abt supervision bro,der is more to it..if it's dat easy no1 wld go to d uni to study fishries wen u can go sumwher nd learn it 4 3/6months.y do dey contact d civil engineers wen u can simply get a bricklayer nd pay less..mind u the farm is on a very large scale(feed production, hatchery,nd d growout).i rily do nt owe u any explanation but 4 d records nd to clear ur ignorance I jez did.
Lol... Some years back, the Synagogue church guest building collapsed and I guess those buildings were been constructed by an ordinary bricklayer.
I was about sending you a long reply but I had a change of mind. If I may ask,how much is the salary self?

when u hav ur farm u can go 4 1st leaving sch certificate!u tink running a fish farm is child's play?
Not a child's play my brother but I just stated that someone successfully ran one without having all those qualifications u requested for. If not for the bad educational and economy system in Nigeria, why would a bsc holder be just a farm supervisor.
Do you really mean that I'll spend four years in a university just to come supervise a farm?
Most irrelevant things are just been made to look so relevant in this country. Someone that don't even have a prior idea about farming, with just 3-6 months training he/she will run ur farm to ur amazement.

kilokeys:
1. Land lease.... *N10,000/hectare*
2. Clearing... *N28,000/hectare*
3. Cutting and cross cutting (trees)... *N20,000*
4. Packing and burning... *N18,000*
5. Plantain suckers (1500 at N50 each)... *N75,000*
6. Planting @N20 per suckers... *N30,000*

7. Weed management
At planting
4 litres of Glyphosphate/Hectare @ N2100/ltr = *N8,400*

3-4 weeks after (just once)
3kg of atrazine and 1 bottle of 2-4d
Atrazine is N2500/kg and 24-d is N1900
7500+1900= *N9,400*

Glyphosphate would be repeated 6 more times throughout the planting season, after the first application with two months interval
N8,400 x 6 = *N50,400*

Cost of labor for weeding
At every time weed is applied, cost of labor is N4,500 per hectare and a total number of 8 was the place weeded
5000 x 8 = *N40,000*

At harvest
Cost of labor to cut the plantains
N17,000.

Miscellaneous : *N3,800*

Total cost : *N310,000*

*EXPECTED PROFIT*
PLANTAIN BUNCH
In the case where 1300 suckers eventually yields (assuming 200 does not or dies) and each is sold for N500/bunch

1300 x N500 = *N650,000*

SALE OF SUCKERS
There are about 8 suckers that grow around each plantain tree. If 5 of it is sold at N40 each, giving we have 1300 plantain trees

5 x 40 x 1300 = *N260,000*

Total expected profit = *N910,000*
For ur mind now u don analyse the business like a written script. Hunger is in the land my brother, thief go don cut ur plantain finish before e even strong rich to enter market self.

Just to supervise fish again needs HND or Bsc. My friend who barely had primary six certificate is doing pretty well in his farm. He has enough birds and fishes to feed a town. una for kukuma include masters and phd.

obibolamusa:
Op, So SARs brutality is limited to yahoo boys?

Why should the brutality exist even if its a G boy.

Like you said, EFCC is already doing the work better so why is SARs even involved?

There is a reason we gave them guns, its for armed robbers.

That aside, SARs and police harrass people in the south more than in the North because they are afraid.

If you are in Nigeria and dont know this, then, ask questions.

Let every security outfit do the work they are created to perform within the law while respecting the rights of all citizens.
You are 100% right. Its is only in Nigeria that a policeman will want to perform every other duty and when it comes to their own duty you'll find them wanting.
