This is it bro...it undermines jamb standard...it means jamb's marking and everything is trash..it means jamb questions are not true tests of knowlegde;just to mention a few...it means a lot...jamb can't support that.....so,if all who got above 200 are called..jamb will still be used+p.jamb+s.s.c.e in calculating cut-offs and aggregates..

Just as I said earlier today...there is a modicum/iota of truth,or let's say reality in what hesjay is saying...U.I can't just overlook jamb scores...that is damn ridiculous!..it ridicules jamb a lot.

@fynest..That sum1 got more than u doesn't neccessarily mean he's more brilliant than u...but it means he prepared more than u....but in most cases,great marks are signs of brilliance&smartness..

Let us face the reality..you guyz are sentimental...if u happen to be one of those that got above 300..how would u feel??
let me tell the truth,there are hundreds of u.i aspirant out there that got above 250+...
In my own...all should be invited for the p-utme...but after p-jamb,the jamb score alongside p-jamb score and ssce should be used to calculate each student's aggregate and cut-offs...in that way,it will favour everybody...

Oga jossy's info is great.
But two things I want to bring out are these:
1)If jamb result will not be used AT ALL...That is a huge blow on u.t.m.e...then what is the essence of getting good result in u.t.m.e??...it means reading to get good mark in jamb is useless..
2)going by this method,a lot of student will pass the post-u.t.m.e and won't be admitted..U.I's admission will turn to that of OAU.

NB:Before u start criticising me,i've not even written my jamb..and i don't knw what my result would be.
