Take it or leave it they are not GSD. Anything that doesn't conform to the breed standard of a GSD is simply not a GSD

According to the breed standard of the GSD, if these are the parents, they are not even pure GSD's. Sorry to say, no harm intended. These dogs are mutts.

So as not to judge fast, please upload the parents of this dog individually and when mating. Phenotype wise, this dog is no where near a GSD, compare your dog to this pup of mine.

I didn't at any point in time compare my GSD to that of anyone. I saw a pup in the thread and that dog is a mutt and not a GSD, so i had to speak up. Then secondly the title the owner the thread named it shows post the pictures of your GSD to see if we can compare. I guess he was referring to his own GSD which i didn't even see in the first place. So i posted and requested for his, he then went somewhere to bring the picture of Eve from Household... what does that mean??
Cuz i know he doesn't own Eve. Then he asked me to compare Eve to my dogs. The same thing you said here was what i told him, you don't compare GSD of different lines together, you compare them in respect of their lines. But since he thinks he knows it all i left him. Threw his question to Household himself, he asked me to tell him If the most beautiful woman in the world can be compared to the strongest man in the world.......

Lol....bro, we don't have any choice than to follow what the breed standard says. I have argued this too before but i just needed to concur with the requirements of the breed standard. The white ones are now called White Shepherd.

You didn't understand. He didn't post a picture of a GSD, he posted a picture showing the colours of a GSD in which white was in it. So that's what I'm correcting. No harm intended.

Will they even be ready to hear you out that you supporting bastardizing the breed standard of a dog. You've just said one of those reasons why we haven't been able to discipline ourselves and also to change towards our breeding ethics and standard in Nigeria.
When you see a good dog or let me say a pure bred dog you fall in love with it, you like it and can't compare it to any other that doesn't match it. But Nigerians are not ready to change but they want a change. Orientation is the key in this thing, it's so unfortunate that Adoption has not started in Nigeria, that would have been a good alternative for those that can't afford the quality but would love to have them.

If you're familiar with Boerboel appraisal, the judges tell you one thing, if your dog doesn't meet up, don't breed with it....just use as a pet.

Now tell me how many Nigerians would love to adhere to that fact??

I'm not saying they can't have cross bred dogs as pets, but they should stop using them to breed, cause that's the main reason people buy dogs this days. I'm not saying money is not part of why I'm breeding too, but as long as i have good stocks and I'm even ready to make them better by introducing line breeding or adding other quality stocks for the betterment of the breed standard, then one day my effort would pay off.

If SABBS can recognize some top quality Boerboels in Nigeria and their dedicated Breeders, I'm so sure we will be recognized. We are also dedicated breeders in the line of GSD, don't worry....I'll update you.

You know why I'm complaining??....I'm complaining because the person that sold the puppy to the buyer will never tell him or her not use the dog for breeding. And the ignorant buyer too thinking he's got a GSD, will try and ude this dog for breeding. This is what caused the bastardizing of the precious breed called GSD in Nigeria. A GSD federation will be starting soon In Nigeria and I am part of the people who has committed themselves to create public awareness about the GSD. People should stop calling a mutt a GSD. This pup is even below the breed standard of a GSD according to FCI. I'll attach so you can see. When we kick start, mutts like this will never be registered.

I will try best possible to explain what you don't understand. Firstly we have different types of GSD...they are:

American show lines
Canadian show lines
West German show lines
West German working lines
DDR / East German working lines
Czech working lines

Eve is a DDR GSD. Two of my male GSD that I posted are West German Show lines.
One was from Grandiose German Shepherd, and the other from from Ajahmi Kennels in Kaduna.
Let me stop there, DDR is a working line GSD, most time used for rescue operations, police work etc. West German Show lines are just for shows. So you comparing a DDR to a West German show line doesn't show how wrong you are but also how ignorant you are. Even Household himself will never compare. And I want you to answer a simple question, I have my male from Grandiose German Shepherd, and he's just 7 months and Eve is 11months. Between Household and Grandiose, who has better stocks in terms of GSD. I will upload another picture of the GSD you saying is no match for EVE.

My dog was just four months in the first two picture. He's 7 months now.
Lastly, I'm very sure you don't own EVE, so I'm still waiting for that GSD of yours.

She sells her puppies to make some cash so you don't expect her to be a member of the BDBAN, SABBS, SABMA or any kennel club

She does line breeding in her own way but if you choose to call it backyard breeding then it's fine

A breeder is a person who selectively breeds carefully selected mates, normally of the same breed to sexually reproduce offspring with specific, consistently replicable qualities and characteristics.

So when you were comparing My GSD to EVE, you were wrong, cause only a quack breeder and a fool would mate a DDR to a West German Show line. Because I'm a breeder, I'll breed a DDR to a DDR and same to the other.

It is not the job of a vet doctor to ascertain if a dog is pure or not. They are only meant to treat dogs. They didn't study genetics. Only a DNA test will prove if your dog is pure or not not a vet doctor. BTW, i haven't even seen the dog here, i uploaded the last three pictures, let me see your GSD if it matches any of them
