drerocker:I was in your shoes for some years. It kept re-occuring even after a surgical procedure. I finally saw a Surgeon that directed me to a teaching hospital pharmacy where they mixed 0.5% Nifedipine with some amount of vaseline based on his prescription. The pharmacy just knows the right quantity to mix based on the prescription given. Kai! The pains of anal fissure is just unexplainable. Imagine having a sore and your poop keeps rubbing on it without healing. Taking a dump was always a nightmare. |

Hello GAZZUZZ, found this page while looking for solution to power steering issue on my 2009 Corolla. I have spent almost 200k on this issue, this year with 3 different mechanics. Have had the Car for 6 years now with current mileage of 67,000(rarely driven in the past). With this issue, I am seriously contemplating selling it. The error it displays on the dash board is Check Power Steering When it displays this error, the steering becomes very hard like trailer, if not worse lol. The steering uses EPS. Mechanic 1: Said it was sensor issue and needed to clean out the sensors and some things I can't remember. Issue resurfaced after 3 days of fixing. Mechanic 2: Said we needed to change the steering kolom, steering brain box and some other things. He charged us 120k but issue resurfaced in less than a week also, took it back to him twice but no permanent solution. Mechanic 3: Got this one out of frustration to review the issue, and he confirmed that mechanic 2 did not change the steering kolom, but went ahead to repair what was there before, and still charged us the 120k Mechanic 4: This was recommended by a colleague. After running a scan and checks, he said the main brain box is communicating properly with the steering brain box and the steering pump needs to be changed. He is asking for 80k for repairs with guarantee( that he is my last bus stop lol) This steering issue is making me broke biko. The Car is currently parked and i dont have 80k. Please hellllllp! |

Marc9:Thanks so much Doc, The cause was not made to me o. I just noticed that i was bleeding and went to hospital the next day. Scan revealed the baby was not growing well as against the foetal age. An evacuation was done immediately, same day. I have told my husband to help me buy the cream you recommended above. Pls hope its safe at this age of my pregnancy.(2months). |
Marc9:Many thanks Doc! Please can you recommend any cream, as for the antibitics i was also prescribed Augmentin in the hospital which i took religiously. Now i can't take any cos am already 2 months pregnant. Would have to rely on cream alone i guess. |
Hello Doc, for the past 4months have been having an itchy sore on my right aeriola(breast). It itches so bad and brings out lots of fluid that i rub aboniki on it and then cover with tissue and bra, else it stains my dress. It started when i was pregnant but still breastfeeding my 1year old son. i later lost the pregnancy at 9weeks and an evacuation was done. I continued breastfeeding my son on just the left breast but has to stop when the sore was not healing. The sore is still not healed and am pregnant again. Been to hospital and Canestan cream was recommended, have taken fluconazole and other creams too, yet no solution. Don't know what to do because i want to nurse my baby on the two breast when i put to bed. I am tired of wearing tissue in my bra every day to work. |
Thanks guys. I have been thinking of using sniper mixed with kerosene in the whole house. Do you think that will do? @xreal i don't think i know any agrochemical store around me. Can you suggest any? @acenazt please do you mean alcohol like dry gin, schnapp? |
Hello all, urgently need your assistance on how i can rid my house of scorpions. We moved into the three bedrooms flat in Egbeda Lagos, about nine months ago and ever since, we have killed about 7 tiny scorpions We have killed in the kitchen, siting room with tiled floor, bathroom and even my one year old baby's room. It just appears from no where and have been praying it does not sting anybody. Though we live on the ground floor, Its an apartment with four flats but the compound is floored. |
Hello Doc/ gynae I had bleeding and evacuation at 9weeks on the 6th of September. My period started exactly one month after 6th of October. Is it safe to start trying again from this month? |

Guys I need your wealth of knowledge. I just lost a 2month old pregnancy and had to do an evacuation as advised by the gynaecologist. Asides the antibiotics and flagyl given to me, are there other things I need to do, to avoid infection or blocked tube due to the process I underwent. I took uda soup for just 2days. |
Hello doctor, am still having creamy /watery discharge 4months postpartum. Been wearing pad ever since i gave birth till date.
