They are not majority in Lagos and as such can't determine others way of life. That is your personal decision and can't be forced on others.

I don't justified the killing of the Christian girl by fanatics Muslims......but she was wrong.....she shouldn't av called the teachings or saying of the prophet rubbish........knowing she is in a public group dominated by Muslims.

I am a Christian and an Igbo girl.....that sells stuffs at mile 12 market in Lagos ( a Hausa/Fulani dominated market.......95 percent consists of northerners.........while the remaining 5 percent consists of other tribes).

During the Muslim fast...........I usually eat in my shop.......and my nothern neighbours usually see me.......and they will be like "ba hajjimi" (meaning no fasting). I am always like no fasting oooooo......with a smile on my face.....and they will be like it's not good ooooo......that I should be fasting.....that fasting is good.....and I will be like no problem.....I have heard. Meanwhile in my mind I will be like because u people are fasting.....the whole world must fast with u......mtchew.

Another experience was yesterday when I wore a sleeveless knee length gown to the market......they saw me and said that I was naked was wearing clothes........I laughed and told them that I was only wearing pants and bra and that they should remove their eyes from my body so I won't make them sin

My point is in an environment u are the minority......be mindful of ur actions and utterances.

Adding Millet in grounded pepper.......it will be very noticeable.

Buy a big bag of pepper........half bag of pepper seed..... plenty colour to make it red when it being grinnded.

U can get everything in markets where they sell pepper in bulk....... mostly from hausa people.

The problem is far bigger than Dowen college; bullying is a major pandemic that exists in just about every single boarding school around Nigeria. Someone dying in this case has brought the prevailing issue to the fore, but I still dont see how closing down Dowen college will solve this national issue.

It's a national issue.......yes.

But it can be stopped......if only school authority will put the welfare of children first before money.

If school authorities keep on being negligent about welfare of kids.....why shouldn't children be withdrawn from the school? Why shouldn't the school be shut down?

I've stated in my opinion, what could be done, you bring your solutions that can also be applied, not just to Dowen alone, but all other secondaryschools.

Shutting down the school completely solves nothing. Think!!!

If a child or a student dies due to negligence of the hospital or school......then by all means.....the school or hospital should be shut down.

The problem with most of us is that we react to situations impulsively and without critical thinking.

U are talking about critical thinking........when juniors were complaining about seniors bullying them.......and the school didn't put any measurement in place to stop the bullying.....but kept on condoning them...... until achild was killed in the process.

Improvements are required, people responsible should be made to take accountability. The school is sound academically, other aspects of their lapses should be corrected.

This attitude of "pull them down mentality" in Nigeria should really stop.

Closing down the school won't solve anything.......but the school can claim a child that was bullied to death wasn't bullied but playing football.
