Lukaku can continue to do a job for us but if we mistake see anybody wey go help us recoup our 75m then we need to take the deal sharply. Crystal Palace are in dire need of a striker, they already have premier league money and may sell Zaha too for a hefty fee. we should try and codedly invite them to tempt lukaku. |
Solkjaer is always looking like someone who is yet to believe what is happening in his life, the constant look of joy/excitement on his face. Lol. So far, he has not said one wrong word, from his first interview till now. He knows exactly what to say and how to say it, except when he overdid it and called Antonio Valencia one of the best attacking right backs in Europe ![]() I actually cannot wait to see him against really good sides, so we know for sure if we should no longer bother with Pochettino. |
elampiro:I know you also like Ashley Young and Valencia , but you will not sanction 60m for their purchase if you have the opportunity, or even half of that. |
elrony:them go make us pay premium or close to premium, so no. No be for 2019 mandem suppose dey pay premium for players like Douglas Costa |
Woodward may be a tool but God bless him for not allowing mourinho bring Willian, perisic and Boateng to this club. Possibly losing martial too, in exchange for one of those bums. Na another song we for dey sing now |
Defence is bad, so the solution is to subject it to pressure at the slightest opportunity, then come out crying in press conference that the entire team isn't good enough when they inevitably crack under the pressure he loves to invite for no reason. Walahi, na thunder go fire mourinho and his wayward logic |
elampiro:better than playing shít and battling relegation. When we get to that stage where all that is left is that final step to clinch the title, we will know what to do |
Knowing this board, they will probably wait until it's mathematically impossible to meet some targets so they can dismiss him without needing to pay him off heavily. |
elampiro:success may not be instant but visible improvements and a clear direction will be.. With the right appointment. At the moment we are not only dreadful on the pitch of play and not getting results, it doesn't even look like there is a clear plan in place to get us out of this mess. Mourinho says he needs more players, but how many players can we realistically get in January that will make beating teams in the bottom 5 a routine again? Why will the board even trust his judgment in the transfer market anymore after all they have seen so far? |
If the board had any wisdom, they would ditch mourinho asap, and just use the remaining part of the season as experiment, an experiment that will guide a more calculated decision in the summer. I don't think it's possible for us to get relegated, so I don't exactly see how wrong things could go |
The ones that look like they are talented, can't be arsêd. While the ones who have all the passion simply are not good enough. This is the sorry state of Manchester united football club at the moment. De gea is beginning to move closer and closer to the first category on a weekly basis, and who can blame him? How much more of Matic mctominay Jones back 3 can you take before you eventually give up on life? |
elampiro:that these kind of players are no longer available and ready to be cherry picked is exactly why mourinho is widely regarded as finished or outdated to put it nicely. Plus nobody can convince me there is not a single soul available that can take over these group of players and bring Instant visible improvements without even needing to delve into the transfer market. Spending extra 200 to 400m should be taking us straight to the highest level, not just make us look like a team again. |
This useless team keeps doing just about enough to keep mourinho in the job, while not making any real progress. It's disgusting. They can't even be shít properly ffs We are in for a long ride, at this rate |
Abeg na true say Mr Sarri call lord kante headless chicken? |
raumdeuter:reputation, surely and its a disgrace |
raumdeuter:have you no shame? Your team is a struggling to compete in a one horse race league where they are the only horse You still dey come here troll. If my team was a horse struggling in a race with chihuahuas, I would be extremely ashamed |
cc12:it took an injured Ighalo to even get him in the squad. I will do my best to catch this game today. I hope he gets some solid minutes and just not some >10mins cameo appearance. |
tbaba1234:some people will spontaneously combust if they ever argue like this.. I'm sure |
do4luv14:you are a wise man |
This reporting thing is so cool ![]() You all should try it more often. Barbaric posts disappear in an instant |
Good to see nairaland immediately bins the posts of people that cannot argue like civilized people immediately you report it these days. Thumbs up seun.. I hope an automatic ban follows it too.. |
If you all know so much about the kid and his exceptional potential, then it really should not be difficult to provide convincing answers without needing to be abusive or bringing up unrelated stuff about what happened in 1756. |
Just reading this particular argument is too difficult. This man dey try wey e take dey engage all of Una with Una raging emotions over a simple question .. Christ |
komekn:things are not always black and white in football, everyone should know that. Nobody is saying invite him, make him the main stay and try to force him to deliver. It will hurt no one to take a closer look to see if there is anything there or even take a small gamble, that can be quickly ended if it doesn't work out |
I don't expect to drag this argument on for too long, this will my last contribution. It's not like the recommender is concluding after watching him for two games or so, or even this season. He seems to know the player inside out and has watched him deliver in the championship before. Calling out his eye for talent surely is better than the rubbutal I see here tbh. In the end three points for the super eagles against SA is the immediate concern. Anything else is derailing, to a degree |
Danielnino00:still not enough reason to dismiss him without having a look at the very least. |
tbaba1234:so you are okay with losing a potential diamond in the rough, because the opportunity to step up missed him.. You may be, and it's fine but I don't buy it. |
tbaba1234:I do not buy into the absolute theory that nothing good can come out of certain set ups. If someone with good judgement spots a good talent in non league, the very least we could do is xray him ourselves and not just dismiss him with the wave of a hand |
How some of you argue here can be funny as hell sometimes ![]() Now, I don't know who chuks aneke is or what he is or isn't capable of but I should have more to shut down someone advocating for him than the extremely lazy narrative of 'he plays in league 2, for that sole reason, he can't possibly be good enough' These things are not exactly black and white, how can anyone not know?? How can you have little to no idea about a player but think you can counter the excellent and well articulated points of someone that does know him intimately?? ![]() Except there is something I'm missing and komekn has a history of questionable judgment then you could do a lot better to improve the quality of debate here.. Good job anyway guys ![]() |
diggz:if you were having a gp of 1.5 because of village people and jumped to 2.2 after deliverance, shey no be improvement? |
weedtaker:pep would have turned half our squad to world class players by now bro ![]() |
How can you be following football for the past 18 months and still think pogba is a <80m player. Una stubborn sha. Chai |
