Henderson is a goal keeper. That's a lot different from outfield players. As long as a goal keeper can keep out shots and command his box, he would look alluring to people compared to his outfield players who would be judged to have been playing against teenage opposition. Which club would want to gamble on them?
what liverpool first team experience did Harry Wilson need to earn his move to Hull last year?
What chelsea first team experience did Ola Aina get to earn the championship loans that had him end up in Italy, still on loan.
There are countless examples of young players earning good loans on their youth team performances alone, from Chelsea.
Fikayo Tomori, Lewis baker, Reece James etc

What first team experience did Sancho get to end up at Dortmund.

actually this is on record. Lol.
He has nonetheless improved all round from his first team exposure.
At the level he currently is, he probably still isn't good enough going forward and there remains a big question mark over how much more improvement is there to be made.

We can easily make a cool 7-10m when we decide to sell to a championship club though

Kagawa10:
Pereira and Mctominay had never looked as good as Harrop when he played for us. Like I said his poor decision cost him because the championship league is a tough league for inexperienced nimble feet young players that have little physique on them. They have no experience to bank on nor do they have quality team mates in their team to take off the pressure off them. What they have instead is big physical endowed team mates who are rather brutes than technical to sync with them. Harrop should have stayed and signed the contract offered to him instead of forcing a move.

As for Poole, he's hardly had any appearance for the first team which would have made better club to scout him for a loan like Tuazenbe and Fosu Mensah had. What I know is it takes quality for the coach to trust a defender in the LCB role even when he's right footed.
Y
Poole is already on loan at Newport.
This is not his first loan deal either.

What first team appearances did dean Henderson have to earn his loan move to a championship club?

Henderson has been rising through the ranks by consistently shinning through wherever he found himself.
Conference, to league 1 to championship in about 3 years.

There is talk of continental interest in him at the moment even.

Because Van De beek doesn't look as flashy as frenkie de Jong nor does he look like all these pacey no 8 midfielders like he should be in the no 8 role.

That was why I said the coach is underutilizing him. As a no 6, he would have been heralded as the new Pirlo or Alonso although with better defensive skills and pace. When he was just newly brought into the Ajax team and was playing in the place of the injured Schone as a no 6, he was heralded as the next big thing, even Ajax fans didn't want Schone to get back but then, the former coach got transferred to Dortmund and this new coach probably noticed his goal scoring skills and thinks De beek should be playing closer to the goal.
I'm not sure I can even call FDJ flashy

It's one thing to say you do not believe juju or dark magic or whatever exists because you don't have sufficient evidence.

It's another thing entirely to say with your full chest that it doesn't exist.

I cannot say myself that I'm a 100% believer in many of the stunts that people use to uphold the existence of juju or Dark magic, but it does not exactly give me the right to say with 100% certainty that there's no Chance it exists.

Also, you cannot continue to make fun and be outrightly dismissive of people when they give accounts of what they claim to have seen grin
If it didn't sound ludicrous, it won't be juju grin

Lastly, if I was half as sure as most of you here that there was nothing like that I know the lengths I would have gone to test my hypothesis/facts/belief.
Don't ask me for what I would do either.

All of you know what you can do to put these things to test. I will not entertain anybody pretending to not know.

Why exactly European heavyweights were fighting themselves till death for De Ligt while van de beek remained largely overlooked is not quite clear to me yet.
Its reminds me of the Kluivert and Neres situation last summer.
Neres, who is a bit older, much more mature and generally better was overlooked for Kluivert when clubs came calling

In the end, na the club wey go buy am go enjoy because Ajax won't have the cheek to ask for 85m for van de beek.

Afrodoc2, before Greenwood burst into the u18 scene, there was one striker that was brought in from Switzerland, Milen Baars.
I've not heard about him for a while. Is he still within our ranks?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by PietroRick: 7:26pm On Feb 15, 2019
The only youth player I can stick my neck for right now is Greenwood and he plays in a position that doesn't seem to have any problems at the moment.
Except we are willing to play Rashford and Lukaku beside him.
He can maybe come in at some point in the game to give Rashford a breather, as I expect lukaku to be playing in the RW spot ahead of Mata.

I don't trust Chong at all yet.
The others are midfielders

Lukaku is no longer fit. He's carrying too much weight. Lukaku has never been a target man. He notoriously is the black man that can't jump, so he cant play big man football that well.
He also has issues with his close control, so he cant play hold up football that well.

All of these were non-issues, given that he used to be

1. Fast enough to outrun most defenders
2. Big enough to bully defenders without having to sacrifice his mobility.

The guy is a victim of both himself and Mourinho.

The amount of weight he's put on is just ridiculous, and it's ironic that due to his size, he was getting into a Mourinho team that didnt play to his strength, and now due to his size he can't get into an OGS side that does play a style that suits him.

I had such high hopes for the nigga. I don't know if he will ever fufill that potential that his career seemed to promise.
I genuinely have no idea what he was thinking putting on so much weight.
Not like he wasn't already Bullying people's fathers as a teenager.
He runs like there's a catapilar tire tied to his back and is often out of breath on minimal exertion.

He would do well in the seria a.
Like I said, we should be hawking him to inter Milan.
Their coach dey currently fúck up sef, and they may hire mourinho next

When lukaku was ready to run through walls, he was still kind of subpar. Now this particular edge is no longer in his game, we might as well just relax and allow him go.

Fellaini didn't flinch at the opportunity to run, even when it was China.
Lowkkey he would be a more viable alternate to these bums, Fred and perreira
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by PietroRick: 5:36pm On Feb 13, 2019
Martial got injured very early in the game and tried to play through it. This contributed to his general performance yesterday.
I would not read much into his performance yesterday.
I can only hope he comes back soon, lingard too.

Lukaku in hindsight would have been a better choice to come on but my God, lukaku can no longer run for shit.
See how easily he was getting outpaced by marquinhos a few minutes after coming on.
Lukaku is high key another problem that will do us a world of good to solve this summer.

I hear icardi and inter are having some internal wranglings.
We should be dangling lukaku to them when they sell icardi, even if we don't end up buying icardi.

His sugar daddy leaving and subsequently Losing his position to Rashford has done him mentally.
He must be feeling there is almost nothing he can do to get ahead of Rashford at this point, because of playing styles more than any other thing. That has got to be difficult.
He needs to go somewhere else and get a fresh start.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by PietroRick: 10:06am On Feb 13, 2019
I love j lingz, he's a brilliant player but he is the one supposed to be coming on like Mata in a big game like this when a key player can no longer continue.
Not our chances of getting anything from a game reduced to near zero because he can no longer continue.
This is something that needs to be fixed going forward if we want to be serious with ourselves.

Good thing someone else is noticing Bailly's low-key mess, he even seemed to be low on confidence yesterday. Funny how Lindelof is now the best CB, sale of form is still on though cheesy

When one looks at Sanchez output compared to his salary, only thunder will fire Mourinho. Mans bought Sanchez to spite City and killed the small man's football IQ.
he flatters to Decieve way too often to be taken serious.
Even within a game, you can never tell when he's going to switch from a 9/10 moment to a 2/10 moment.
This is why mourinho eventually chose to settle for Smallling's steady state of 6/10 with the occasional spikes to 7 and maybe 8.

Generally we need to move 2 CBs on this summer and I was fine with any 2 of Rojo, Smalling and Jones.
Now I'm good with any 2 of Rojo, Smalling, Jones and Bailly.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by PietroRick: 9:39am On Feb 13, 2019
If we are going to bring a tier 1 defender to partner lindelof, and, if becomes difficult to find suitors for Jones or Smalling this summer, we can put their inevitable dismissal aside and lowkey look for suitors for Bailly.
This guy no be am at all.
He's hardly better than jones and probably older, if we remove this football age thing.

I have not lost my shít for any contract renewal since, not Jones, not young but if we give Mata a new contract for any reason, then it's guaranteed that we are not ready to go anywhere.
Anybody crazy enough to want to take a punt on Alexis from any part of the observable or unobservable universe, has my blessing.
That little man is offering too little for what we are paying him.

oga, what made me to start supporting chelsea is the direct football. Going for the goal once they have the ball.

That chelsea does not use a high press to recover the ball does not mean that our play was not direct.

Leicester played direct football from counterattack to win the league.

Direct football simply means going for goal once you have the ball and caring less about possession.
lol. Direct football Is not counter attacking football.

I've been in awe of how good that boy is EVERYTIME I've seen him play.

He is literally impossible to get past. In 1v1 situations he is incredible. His tackling and interception stats are off the charts.
He's good on the ball and a good dribbler himself.

The only flaw I can see in his game at the moment is his positioning but he more often than not makes up for it with his speed and incredible tackling.
And even that will undoubtedly improve in the coming years.

He's a guaranteed starter for England in 2 years, especially at the rate Kyle walker is going and now that Trippiers fraudulence is becoming increasingly evident.
