Good morning,

Please how did you mandate this transpower stock for Dividend.

I wanted to fill the e-mandate form through the NIBSS portal but TRANSPOWER stock name was not there .

Meristem broker said Transpower name has not been updated yet because they just listed on the stock market.

Now that they have paid Dividend what do I do to get mine?

Please did ARDOVA pay dividend in 2021? What date was the qualification date?

I was not paid dividend before they delisted

mikeapollo:
Oando delisting would be more controversial and would likely trigger stricter conditions and oversight from SEC. Ardova and MRS had been paying dividends consistently. Oando has not in the almost 10 years, hence all eyes would be on them.
I think the SEC would not let them go scot free. Remember the SEC only had to lift their sanctions on Oando after some protracted battle and compromise negotiations. Oando would not be allowed to delist without meeting some reasonable conditions.
Fortunately, SEC has proved itself In rejecting and refusing some companies from delisting in recent times
Oando can still delist eventually, but the price would be higher than the offer price and current market price..

Thank you.

I was able to get it through Trade history and a few Button clicks.

I think Binance doesn't keep purchase history more than 3 months or thereabouts.
InvestmentRe: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by Pifebhor(f): 6:41am On Mar 04, 2024
You are very correct.

I was able to see the Exact month and year I bought the Coins and Purchase price using Trade history

I am still in huge loss as 2021 was All Time High for most Coins.

Thanks for your Contribution

Bluearrow:
How much did u invest & what is your binance balance? 2021 was the year most coins did their all time high. Most people who bought coins in 2021 bought during the bullrun, u are likely not to be in profit yet

Ohhh thank you very much.

I tried it yesterday and it worked.

I didn't need to export it ,I could view it from any year.

I really appreciate 🙏

Fastt:
Go on trade history, it shows you only 6 months max I guess. How ever, click on the export icon marked red, it displays longer history for you to choose from. Choose the year you want(max 1yr interval ) and tell them to generate in Xcel/pdf format. I guess they have several formats. Anyway, follow the instructions given to you. It has limited download. I don't know if you use your limit, they clean your data in the database. Use it wisely

Hello Cosmicwill,

I will say don't panic About Trove , they are not direct Stock brokers like Morgan Capital or Meristem but they are Financial investment company that partners with SIGMA SECURITES ,a registered stock Broker in Nigeria to Trade Nigeria stocks and Trove is owned by a Nigerian.

I started using them in 2020 when I first started trading, if you created a custodian Account with them ,you do not need to fill an E-dividend form before your Dividends are paid if you purchased a Dividend paying stocks.

Their Buy and sell trades are very swift but note that their charge fees are higher than some brokers especially Morgan Capital been the cheapest .

If you placed a order to sell and no buyers ,there is no way your order will be placed.

But I would advice you create a Standard account with a registered Broker directly going forward.

Cosmicwill:
Thanks so much for your response sir.
Seems the only option is to hold the asset there since they can't even sell at the moment. Hoping it appreciates. Then pull out to a registered broker

Please do you think dollar to naira will get to 2500 before 2024 ends and do you advice one to go for the Dollar investment that most banks carry out?.

Also how can I invest in real estate?

Hello Oga Loco,

Please at what price do you advice to buy into NB to meet up with the bullish period?.

As at January ,price was 40 but it is 38.95 today

Locotrader:
Maybe no one has notice Meyer trying to do 100% from #3+ it was last week.

The bull will still circulate to all sectors just as it's quietly doing at the paint company now.

The brewery stocks are seriously battered.
I am much bullish on the brewery sector.

Waiting for accumulations and breakout at due time

So is Japaul a good buy since ut has PE of 10 ?

Please correct ame if I got the PE wrong.

emmanuelewumi:
At N19, that will be a PE of 34.

When the average PE on NGX is 14.

To be on the safe side na to target stock between PE of 7 to 21.

21 should be the maximum.

Better if one can get below 7
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Pifebhor(f): 7:02pm On Jan 27, 2024
Thank you very much.

Shalom428:
At the current price , DS will give you more units of Dangote Food compared with Nascon.

Nascon FY2023 is going to be fantastic, but Dangote Sugar FY2023 will not because of Finance cost . Some might panic and sell off DS because of the result , so buying in tranches make sense because the panic selling might give room for better entry price

In summary, no matter the price you enter either Nascon or Dangote Sugar, you will be in profit when Dangote Food is listed. Dangote Food is destined to turn some millionaires into billionaires. The final destination is FANTASTIC.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Pifebhor(f): 6:58pm On Jan 27, 2024
Thank you very much, I appreciate

unite4real:
Question: How much per share did you sell your NASCON and much did you buy SUGAR. Let's start from there . .....check the table below to see if ur decision was right.

Meanwhile, don't go by this rule as it is so wrong. There is no loss anywhere. What you need to do is to use the share scheme arrangement formular to calculate which of NASCON or SUGAR is cheaper to buy per time

The scheme of arrangement already says for every 12 NASCON, you get 11 SUGAR. this does not mean you are loosing 1 share of NASCON. It's the value placed on them. So the prices to buy them is inversely proportional. Remember that if you use 100k each to buy NASCON and SUGAR, you will have more units of NASCON than SUGAR due to the price difference. When you convert your NASCON units back to SUGAR, you should be at per, provided the price difference is normal according to the scheme of arrangement

NASCON PRICE = SUGAR X11/12
SUGAR PRICE = NASCON X12/11

NASCON QUANTITY X 11/12 = SUGAR QUANTITY

You need to compare both prices and buy the one that is cheaper because at the end of the day, the NASCON will be comverted to SUGAR and SUGAR converted to FOOD

for example, if you want to purchase 10,000 units of SUGAR, let's look at current prices of both

10,000 units of SUGAR is equal to 10,909 units of NASCON

SUGAR price is 82.65. amount required is 10,000 X 82.65 = N826,500
NASCON price is 76.5. amount required is 10,909 X 76.5 = N834,538

in this case, SUGAR is slightly cheaper to buy but if NASCON was selling for 75.5, it will be cheaper than SUGAR at 82.65

You need to constantly check this to decide which of them to buy per time. Attached is the price comparisons and differentials between the two up to sugar price of N90

Mfunkynation:
as for me 60 - 40 in favour of sugar..
Remember you will lose one unit of nascon if you choose Nascon.
I sold all my Nascon and enter sugar at once since sugar will be the change to DangFood
Thank you very much for this feedback.

Take profit if you don't have holding power. But if you get holding power, just siddon , relax and wait for DangFood

A lot of profit taking will happen along the way, DangSugar FY 2023 might even dampened the price cos it's not going to be fantastic. But don't worry, the destination will be highly rewarding.
Hello and good morning everyone, I have been following this forum since late 2023 and I am deeply grateful for all the Deep Insights shared on stocks. I appreciate you all.

Please I want to be a huge investor in DANGFOOD when the Merger is completed for the long term as it has prospects as recommended here but I need clarity on which of the 2 stocks to invest in now before the Merger as from Monday if possible .

Many has recommended DANGSUGAR and Many Has recommended NASCON . I really do not know know anything about NASCON yet. Please Able Experts , what is your take on acquiring NASCON and DANGSUGAR.

Should I do 60:40 for NASCON and DANGSUGAR respectively seeing that NASCON is cheaper now and based on a recommendation here that the sharing ratio NASCON will be 12:1 while DANGSUGAR will be 11:1 when the Merger happens or acquire more of DANGSUGAR ?

I do not know if Q4 report of NASCON will be favorable .

Do you also advice I buy them in Bits so I can Average down when and if the prices comes down ?

I will really appreciate your concrete feedback as I intend to invest in them on Monday .

Thanks.

Someone did an analysis on the stock here. and that's why I am still holding it
He made a point that by his assessment ₦3 to ₦4 may be added to the offer due to asset sales.
And In Gsk report it was stated that whatever shareholders were entitled to will also be paid apart from the exit price
Okay..thank you for this.

I will hold
