Natin like Navy Dss.
Its is only Navy DSSC and Navy RC.

Drect short service Commission DSSC as d name implies is a graduate Military Service for professional who hav graduated from diff institution and serve the nation(NYSC).
NDA was task wit the responsibility of training cadet of DSSC b4 but now the training is done by each arm force by themselves. The reason is because doing the time of Recruitment and training by NDA, maybe Airforce or Navy will not b ready to accomodate Officer cos they need to include them in there Budget.
Another reason is that it is cost effective and better to train this cadet by each forces because the military drills(Parade) of Navy and Army and Airforce are Different.
Army is known for Banging of Legs on d ground, in Navy we dont bang legs, we just bring it together.
NDA is a military university that train Cadet that just past out from secondary school. U train for 4 Years(NDA is 4 Years Now) Both in Academy and Military Drills. Both NDA and DSSC aftet graduation u are commisioned into the Officer Cadre.
In NDA u hv the opportunity to choose between Army, Navy and Airforce from yq first Year. Then in d 3rd year u go to d force u choose and get train by d force again.
If u finish from NDA u are a Regular Commission but if u go to the university first before joing tru DSSC u are a Direct Short Service Commission.
DSSC hv the opportunity to convert to Direct Regular Commission(DRC) after 3 years of Join.
Both NDA or DSSC are direct Job to the Military once u graduate.

Is it not in total circulation? The air force wears Camo even from the gate and when on convoy, army own na sure thing, but navy na this purple shaa! I have always noticed I just decided to ask today.

Which of the Navy base did u Visit? We dont have any Purple Uniform. We only hv Blue Rig, The 2 diff white and Camo too.
Navy camo is use only wen Necessary like in Operation.

The Nigeria Navy will take close to 200 this time around. Main list and supplementary list. So u guys should do ya best. Over 1300-1500 i.e 30-40 people per state will come for interview. The new Hostel for Cadet are close to completion. So every-tin is on track except otherwise state. Just work hard, Pray and keep disturbing oga at d top

The 200 would be the sum total of the midshipmen presently at onne, those ratings that would get branch commission and number of successful candidates that would succeed to their commissioning this year. So don't get it twisted, nigerian navy standard of commissioning of young officers remains the same.

U are wrong. Midshipmen in onne are not upto 100. and they are not in d same place wit Trainee.. Dont post wat u dont know

Go for court affidavit on ya certificate name issue. Navy will not hear stories without proof.
B.Agric does not qualify u for Logistic but anytin can happen. Navy can shoki anybody at anytime especially wen u impress.
Two sitting is allowed. But 1 sitting is an added advantage.

Don't put your life on hold because of NN list. Continue your other job, apply for that masters, engage that girl, do your introduction, get married if you want. Navy will release the list wen they want but accomodation issues is a factor u all hv to consider. Were will they camp those going for the interview? They use lagos(Navy Secondary school for the last 1) but the student are in session now so they cant use there for now..
NDA Midshipmen are using NNC Onne nd d hostels cos they are much this time around, Trainee are using NNBTS Onne too and all the 10 hostels. So guys u hv to chill out and wait till Feb/March or When i get correct intel message or wen Oga Tenderlaw alert u guys too... Go about ya normal duties..

Lucky people dat hv dere numbers mistakenly enter into d sms too. Its a bulk sms from 1 particular number. So they will check ya d text nd number dat sent it and d service number dat sent it...

If ya name comes out on the list then try and explain yaself to d officer interviewing u. U never can tell ya case mayb diff. But if u hv IT certificate to back up y u put in for IT then u are safe. But dat was a costly mistake.

For the past 2 days, I have been reading the thread from 1 - 117 I was enjoying the whole gist especially pijay who with some other guys made it interesting for me , I read when he applied, wrote exam , screened and went to camp It was so interesting @ a point I became afraid and discouraged when he shared the camp experience especially those two casualties it all sounded strange then again I was encourage when I saw their picture "nairalanders" and here he is again guiding us like he was "Pijay " which he promised to do, I pray we get there as well if it's our destiny and the Lord's willing Amen.

Oga Tenderlaw is my role model. He made it easy for me to prepare myself.. Gentlemen any info u receive from here just ack on it..

U will b judge basically on wat u applied for. Wen u join then they can change ya department. U should hv applied under Wat u hv advantage at

They were screened out. Navy training is tough but just make sure u zero it. Start jogging 4km in 20-25min to stand a better chance.

On point. Anytime they like they will release it. Currently the camp is busy with NDA cadet nd Batch A Naval Trainee(Ratings). Then the Naval games is also a very imporatant factor. So guys go about wit ya normal duties as u will b alert if there is any new news

None of the girls ran away or voluntarily left, so y will a man run away from training. Even a very lazy person will eventually pick up nd bcome strong after 3 months..
