True, MBBS admission quota is well regulated, the more reason unilag couldn't admit up to 100 both merit plus supplementary, but I think UI admitted close to 150 if u add supplementary and UI quota is 200 not 109 according to MDCAN

Utme 140 or so

DE. 30 not quite sure

Change of course; 30.

Yes unlike some skuls where u can't change to MBBS in 200 level, I sabi guys who changed esp from chemistry to MBBS.
Most schools will admit well over the quota becos they knw before 500L many of the intakes would have left the programme (unable to cope, frustration, and many other factors)
so they dont just admit the exact quota cos they might just end up producing less doctors than the quota. for the 2010/2011 session AAU admitted 150 when they were given a quota of 50.. well nw that same department in 2016 has 47 students...

What is the difference from the registration made at a cafe and the one made in an accredited center? I was charged N6500 at a business center(cant tell if he's an accredited agent)
No difference, just that doing it at a cafe is more stressful and expensive.. Im nt sure the cafe u registered is accredited. What happened is that the cafe owner actually made arrangements with an actual accredited centre to send in some members of their staff on a weekly basis with the major computer to do the registration. More like affiliation.

...... Thanks bro I appreciate, but do u think its too late to start preparation now??
Frm my calculation, its nt too late. but u will av to read like a mad man... U might finish all d syllabus, but u wont av time to read it over again like 2 or 3 times (which is highly recommended to cement everything u've read in ur memory) but not withstanding u shud start d jacking, we gotta face it head on... get lamlad, explicit bio, modern, calc in phy, new school, et al.. U wanna have a plethora of materials at ur disposal.. #cheers to success bro.

no you aren't starting late. Just give the whole preparation undaunted approach. Create a timetable and make it a sin to deviate from it. You can finish the whole past question too. Avoid desultory form of reading to stay on track. As for the biology, those books i recommend are more that enough because they expose you to answering tricky question jamb. And lastly, don't forget to pray.
Bro, Im really indebted to u for this advice which has kept me going.. Thank u sir.. durels101, u can follow this advice too..

Good day guys, I applied for medicine this year but wasn't admitted, I was offered fisheries which I rejected.... Am about to buy another jamb form and I want to opt in for physiotherapy,..... Please I strongly need advice....... I want to really study medicine but am afraid that I will not be admitted... Please to all those studying medicine I would like to know how hard u read to be admitted, or should I just go for physiotherapy??.... All replies are highly welcomed
boss, "Medicine is only for those who cannot imagine doing anything else"
Im an aspirant, and i was also scared abt choosing medicine becos i felt i dnt av enuf time to prepare, but the advice i got on here was really gud and helpful, and everyday my hope increases, the only modification i made during my jamb registration was change of institution frm Uniben to AAU (becos my o'level's at 2 sitting and AAU seem to recieve way less applicant for mbbs than uniben.. Just strategy bro) But if u really want it, then u shud study like ur life depends on it..

AAU accepts two sitting for all courses including medicine.. Its on their official website.

I can't say it's good or bad. But I don't like the place personally, for no reason. If you really want to enjoy studying medicine I'll advise you to go for a federal university. My opinion.

What about a state University? cos i filled in for AAU becos i dnt want any delay or admission Bleep up, between my O level is at 2 sittings which would even disqualify me frm Uniben regardless...

Aristotle said 'know thyself' What works for me might not work for u.

The logic is that assuming Eco and Account are my strong point, when I perfect it, I will score minimum of 160. or say 140. While studying it, am studying at a relatively fast pace cos they both are subjects am good at. By the time am thru with them,
1. I will have enough time to study my weak subjects
2. I will be under less pressure to study cos I have a stand by of 140 at minimum.

If I start with my weak subjects, I will be studying at a slow pace, weak subject na weak subject, the highest you can get na like 50-55 so max like 110 for two subjects. By the time u are thru
You will realize
1. You have little Time for your subjects where u have strength
2 You will be under pressure studying,
3 To do revision on weak subject will be difficult somehow.

Lastly its better your weak subject are last studied so as u dey study am finish, u dey carry am go exam go pour down straight away.

Na personal opinion o. There is no Superior opinion when it comes to stuff like this.
WOW 10000000LIKES... Thanks boss.. u've just opened my eyes.. Thanks boss..
