cucumbae: When buhari refused to sign the electoral amendment that would include the card reader, nobody raised an eyebrow. It will be hard to use the card reader as a reference in the tribunal. Dats the point |
Politics › Re: What Are Atiku’s Chances Of Winning At Tribunal? by pinacole1(m): 1:09pm On Feb 27, 2019 |
The nigeria present electoral law does not recognises the card reader, the card reader usage in nigeria general elections is never backed by any known law of the federal republic of Nigeria. So for those of u saying that atiku will win in the court of law considering the plethora evidences that abound either from the none usage of the card reader or otherwise is a may wish to those that are ignorant of the law. Saying dat atiku will win in court of appeal or supreme court is saying dat a camel shud pass thro the eye of a needle... |

Donmedra: electoral act was signed into law by buhari so yes card reader is recognised and your details will of voting will show but APC are afraid of showing it.

helinues: All the results flying around are all unconfirmed as INEC have not posted any results.
Buhari is leading in Kwara and sharing votes in Benue. Kogi results is still scanty but it seems like Dino won is senatorial seats. I got all the results from PCIJ.
But I am not following any results for now until INEC post on their twitter pages. They said we should ignored all the results in social media.
I feed thousands of people with the elections results and I don't want to mislead them @ The results inec is going to post on Twitter is it not social media result and yet u 're saying we should ignore results from social media |

Politics › Re: Justice Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghen Was Suspended Based On Court Order by pinacole1(m): 8:21pm On Jan 25, 2019 |
nameo: The CCT or the Supreme Court itself cannot give an order suspending or removing a judge. It has no such powers. The constitution is CLEAR on how a judge can be removed or suspended even when they CONTRAVENE code of conduct: through recommendation of the NJC or 2/3 majority of Senate.
Moreover, this same CCT has bee ordered to stay proceedings by a superior court- the Court of Appeal.
Good try. I heared u well. May be u dnt understand the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria upon which all other laws derive their source. The ccb or cct is a direct creation of the constitution to hear matter of this kind, of course no other court orders can stop the proceedings of the cct cos is different from the regular court of law. However justice danladi gave an order on Wed. 23 dat onnoghen shud step outside tI'll the completion of trial, that exactly where the president has the power to effect the suspension, take note suspension not removal, cos in the eyes of the law suspension is different from removal. Ok |
