I found a material for TestAS on the net and I was thinking it could be similar to what others have seen and attempted.

Based on what others have said, the questions were just basic stuff you learn in secondary school
Here are 2 examples-

Test subject: physics and Math

1. What is Newton's first law of motion with 1 example?
2. Differentiate b/w potential energy and Kinetic energy.
3. Question on Waves
4. What is acceleration due to gravity?
5. What formula explains newton's law

Math/physics calculations questions

1. Calculations question on Force (F=MA).
2. Calculations on acceleration(A=F/M).
3. Area of a rectangle (LxB).
4. How many seconds are in 2hrs.
5. Calculation on speed(S=dxt).


Physics
1. What is newton first law of motion and give a real life example.
2. What is the formula for force exerted on a body
3. Define acceleration due to gravity and state its numerical value
4. What’s the formula for wave speed and describe the components I e the variables in the formula
5. What’s the difference between P.E & K.E

Maths
1. Simplify: 5x + 3x - 4
2. Solve 2x + 5 = 15
3. Differentiate 3x² + 5x + 6
4. Find the area of a circle having radius 7 units
5. What's the sum of the interior angles of a triangle?

As you can see they’re somewhat similar

So stuff like Geometry, functions, mechanics etc

But then you can prepare for more complex things just in case

For those who have had their interview and written a Test at the embassy, are the mathematics questions ''SET THEORY'' and "DATATYPES" topics, and are the questions objective based?

Something like this,

Let A={1,2,3,4} and B={3,4,5,6}. What is A∩B (the intersection of sets A and B)?
A. {1,2}
B. {3,4}
C. {5,6}
D. {1,2,5,6}

From what I know, the questions aren’t multiple choice.

4-5 questions in whatever topic they ask. So if they're asking physics and math it'll be like 5 maths, 5 physics questions.

From what I've heard, they give out tests during the interview. Wether it's based on what you studied or are going to study, I don't know.

Also, please update here when you get an appointment. I booked a week after you.

Not sure what you're talking about, but for the blocked account you need the full €11,904 in the account for the visa.

In a situation where a the embassy gives you a like a letter form thing where they tick out somethings and ask that you bring a particular document you didn’t come with for the interview
But you couldn’t have the interview that day
What does it mean basically

If you weren't interviewed, i guess you contact them when you recieve the document they said was missing.

How long does it typically take to get an appointment and visa for study? In addition to submitting an acceptance letter, would uploading an enrollment certificate on the Consular Services Portal help? Like I just accepted into a masters program this June for the winter semester in October. The program is selective admissions *(restricted). As I'm beginning to fill in the portal, I'm seeing the estimated waiting time is more than one year. That's why I want to understand and know the way forward.

You upload all your documentation and wait. The waiting time is over a year. They are still processing October 2023 and they move chronologically. You won't meet resumption this year.

Hello guys, I need your help on the new consular portal. I just booked my appointment today. And it showed this, I attached the picture below. I was thinking I would be sent a booking email with reference number like it was done on the old portal. Would I still receive the email with the reference number or that’s the way the new consular portal is?

That is it. Once everyone who booked with the old system received an appointment, they’ll start processing those on the new portal.

That’s not how it works. You give your details to book an appointment, if you choose not to go, they cancel it and move to the next person in line. You can’t give anybody your appointment slot.

Not true, people on the new portal will only get an appointment after everyone who applied through the old portal have gotten theirs. Unless you’re a scholarship holder, you have no priority.

Only people applying for the first time apply through the new portal, then you’re put on the waiting list.

No. Your dependents apply separately, they can't go with you at the same time.

Then contact them, it could be an error on their part. They've already moved past your date 2 weeks ago. They aren't going to circle back if they don't know. If they had noticed, they'd have done it by now

Your registration to apply for a long-term visa (more than 90 days) for students of category B has been successful.

Your reference number is:

Each applicant must have a separate booking/registration. Each applicant, including minor children, needs an appointment.

Please note that the waiting period is over a year. You will only receive an e-mail with the exact date of your appointment four weeks prior to your appointment.

I want to know if:
1. This application is still valid? (as I didn't apply using the new link: https://digital.diplo.de/visa)

2. When should I expect notification for my appointment?

3. Do I need to re-apply using the new link as I already have admission to start in October 2025 and I have also commenced with enrollment but yet to pay the fees?

I think there's a delay in the emails. Someone else who booked 8th September said they haven't gotten a date yet. Have you checked your spam folder? And did you confirm your email in April last year?
