When you select your answers on the portal it will show that the waiting time is over a year. Its more than 18 months, more like 20-21 months, as they are currently at August 30th, 2023.

Late this year (nov-dec), if the pace remains the same. They are currently at end of August, 2023. They could also end up speeding up, so keep alert because yours is not really that far now.

Hello everyone.

I am new to this group and I need clarity on tuition

@hannania, I have an admission to a state (public) school but my course has tuition. On the checklist for study visa, it’s stated that applications with admission to private schools should come with proof of one year tuition to the embassy, however, I have also heard that regardless of the school, If tuition is involved, proof of one year tuition has to be made available. Can you or any other person kindly confirm this?

To give more information:
1. The course is the life science management course with HTW Berlin.
2. Tuition is €16,000
3. Based on current information on the group that I could read, I might be getting AD by next month. I applied 8th of September 2023.
4. The school has a 50% scholarship I applied for with decision to be received in June 2025, so fingers crossed.

People who applied July ending and beginning of august haven’t gotten date.

So people who applied when got dates yesterday? They stopped at July 22 (or 27, as someone here said) last week.

They can speed up and slow down very spontaneously.

Someone got a date today on the German Telegram group I am on his appointment is May 6th and he said he booked an appointment August 25 2023.

Please does the Embassy send another mail for confirmation after the one they sent immediately one has booked with our booking details acknowledging that we're on the waiting list

They sent one in April last year i think, so people that booked in 2023 and early 2024 confirmed then. I don't know if they sent another one after that.

I’m very sure this isn’t the date I entered. And yes, I used the old confirmation link. I randomly check the link once in a while for no reason at all. I’ve checked about 5 times since I booked last year and I’ve always seen correct info — until today… Genuinely don’t know what to do.

Since it was correct before, it could just be a glitch.

Are you sure that isn't the date you entered?

Also, is this the old confirmation email they sent? Or they sent a new one recently?

To an extent, this pattern doesn’t make any sense because everyday , people are booking with the old system and they are valid, going by that, the appointments booked with the old system will be inexhaustible unless there’s something I don’t know and I would like to be corrected. Thanks.

Nobody is booking through the old system anymore. They removed it in February.
