Just imagine if such a thing repeat again,we can sell our farm produce and buy fuel, and remember, nigeria was built using cocoa from the west and ground nuts from the north,if u dnt know better ask ur old man,we do not need to beg for the unity of this country just because of the oil that will dry very soon.
Think wise and grow wise,Aliyu babangida own nobody apology
what made the northerners 2 fight, preventing Biafra from coming 2 existence? Was it not because of Oil down south? You people are all ingrat 4 not appreciating how kind the south have been by containing u blook suckers. Foolz who think power is their birth right
PoliticsA Reply To Governor Aliyu Of Niger State On Alleged Plot To Divide The North by Pinkybush(op): 1:38pm On Oct 13, 2013
Niger State Governor, Dr. Muaza Babangida Aliyu, has alleged that there was a grand design to disunite the North and ensure the zone does not present a common and unite front on national issues.
He stated this yesterday at the formal commissioning of Liberty Radion in Kaduna.
The Governor said that unless the North and Northerners wake-up, the zone will soon go extinct.

Reacting to this, Afamjnr writes:
Governor Babangida Aliyu of Niger State may not realize the terrible mistake he is making by talking about the Northern Unity as one entity until we get to the floor of the Sovereign National Conference where he would then be asked to keep his North and Northern Unity, as one, while the other Regions would also decide to keep to themselves.
This shows Governor Aliyu has no atom of intelligence in him.
Here is a country where the Regions that have been sustaining the North for the past five decades are embarking on a protest and threatening to leave Nigerian and abandon the North; then, the tactless Governor, instead of appeasing the other Regions by doing away with the idea of Northern identity, is busy intensifying the One North mentality that would further aggravate the anger of the aggrieved, dissatisfied and protesting Southern Regions.
Governor Aliyu, why you are able to have a Niger State with a Government House, and fleet of cars with well paid and maintained Aids, is because of the monthly allocations from the Federal Purse generated annually from the Revenues that should exclusively have accrued to other Regions, especially the South-South.
Governor Aliyu, if you have no idea of what the North would be like when abandoned by the other Regions, embark on a tour of the African countries, especially the neighbouring countries of West Africa that share similar geographical belt with your Niger State and the rest of Northern Nigeria. When you go ask those countries the decade they had a highway or road construction budget last; or when last they were able to buy a single car for the office of their Mr. President, not to talk of fleet of private jets for State or Regional Governors.
In case you do not know, there's no form of meaningful manufacturing going on in any of the West African Countries (including Nigeria), so there's nothing to export for Revenue Generation. The only thriving West African countries are the ones with Oil Export; that's it. Agriculture is not a means of earning any reasonably Foreign Exchange because most countries around the world are self sufficient in Agriculture, especially the West and Asia with very Advance Mechanized Agriculture looking for where to export.
Recall that Yakubu Gowon once paid the salaries of all the Sudanese workers in 1973 when the Government of Gaafar Nimieri could not and did not have any source of a Revenue. Because you are in Nigeria with Oil Money, you probably have never heard of a Government shutdown because of mounting debts and lack of Revenue for continuing its activities. In case you don't know, that's the typical everyday scenario around the world of the non-industralized, landlocked Nations.
Therefore, Governor Aliyu, any intelligent Northerner in Nigeria would rather go on fours to appease and beg the Southern Regions not to leave Nigeria and abandon the North. People don't value what they have until they lose it.
The people that fought had in 1967-1970 to prevent Biafra from leaving Nigeria, you think is because they like war or because they are madly in love with the people of South-South and South-East?. Far from it. They were very much concious of the poverty that would have followed the North if Biafra were to leave Nigeria.
Governor Aliyu, if you were intelligent, you would've been distancing yourself from any form of Northern Unity, but in favour of an "At-All-Cost" solidarity with the South in a single Nigeria Unity as your leaders of the 66-70 wisely did.
That's how they were able to finance the establishment of Niger State where you are now a Governor. That's how they succeeded in creating and financing the establishment of a brand new city, called Abuja, at your back-yard. That's how you have both Federal and State Universities with University Hospitals training your folk and making them better human beings even when your Niger State could not have afforded such on it own. That's how you now enjoy freeways and highways, and fly frequently around the country as G7 Governors to make decision on a Revenue your Niger State and your United North do not and cannot generate.
Governor Aliyu, recall that Colonial Masters governed the North for nearly 200 years without building a single University or a single freeway, or financing the establishment of Niger state or the ultra modern Abuja. All they left you with was a railway they built for facilitating the ease of removal of local minerals.
Therefore, Governor Aliyu, you need to find a way of appeasing the Southern Regions, and pray that they should not abandon the North this time.

RomanceNYSC Corps Member Raped By Oba Adebukola Alli by Pinkybush(op): 8:16pm On Oct 11, 2013
The monarch's acquittal for rape of NYSC girl is intriguing legal sophistry.
The judgement of Justice Jide Falola of Osun State High Court, that the Alowa of Ilowa-ijesa, Oba Adebukola Alli is guilty of desecration of his royal stool, by having sex with a youth corps member under his care, but he is not guilty of raping the girl is one intriguing legal sophistry. According to the report, the judge berated the Oba for bringing disgrace to his family and subjects by his disgraceful conduct, but held that in the absence of exhibits such as the used bed sheet, victim's underpants and a medical report indicating a forcible penetration, the offence cannot be proved.
We accept that under the criminal code, applicable in most states south of Nigeria, the proof of the offence of rape is scandalously technical. However, "the essential and most important ingredient of the offence of rape is penetration and unless penetration is proved, the prosecution must fail." But in the instant case, that question was positively answered as the accused confessed and the court confirmed that the monarch had sex with the corps member. At that stage, what the court should be concerned with is whether the victim gave her consent, or whether it was obtained by force.
So, in our humble view, the judge may have gone on a frolic when he claimed that the prosecution failed to proved penetration, when the accused had confessed that he actually had sex with the victim.
Agreed that where the victim shows bruises on her private part or other parts of her body, may ground the use of force, but it is untenable to contend that those are essential ingredients of rape.
Indeed, in the instant case, it was in record that the victim called her office to report that the accused was allegedly threatening to rape her, yet the judge seems not to have given much value to this evidence, by holding that there was no evidence that the accused attacked the ex-corps member.
While we continue to ponder as to the soundness of the legal reasons offered by the judge, for his highly regrettable judgement; we urged the state to quickly take steps to appeal the judgement. Considering that the victim was on a nationl assignment, it is unfortunate that both the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) and the Nigerian State could not protect her. In the circumstance, it is a matter of urgency to take steps to mend the abused psyche of the poor victim.
We also recall that the monarch had at the trial sought to intimidate the court by mobilizing innocent children from his community school to protest at the court premises. A similar pattern was used when at the trial the accused mobilized his palace officials to appear in court to claim that the ex-corps member was the girlfriend to the accused person, despite he vehement denials.
The witnesses chose to ignore the fact that the girl was involved in a project within the community, and preffered to interpret her visibility in the palace, to mean an amorous relationship with the accused. In making that assertion, it is obvious that the accused was bent on the use of subterfuge and diversionary measures to secure his acquittal.
Regrettably, it appears that the judge fell for those tricks and decided to hand an acquittal to Oba Adebukola Alli. Now, it may be necessary for the state to ponder on the integrity of the monarch, while it takes steps to modernise its criminal law, particularly on rape. It may alse be necessary for the NYSC to consider blacklisting the community until there is a change.

yea. I would've had sex with precious at May's presence.
Romance"I Caught Her In Bed With Another Woman." What Would You Have Done? by Pinkybush(op):
Moses and May were the quintessential lovebirds. Among their close, circle of friends, they were nicknamed the M&M couple.
The met for the first time in the school library. The meeting was an accidental one because May bumped into Moses as she rushed out to meet up with a lecture. As he bent to gather his books and scripts that lay scattered all over the library floor, Moses mumbled under his breath, "If I did this to you, I would never hear the end of it."
"I am truly sorry," May apologised as she bent down to help him. "I have 12 0'clock class with Professor Ben." At the mention of Professor Ben, Moses understood the purpose of the rush.
Professor Ben was the dreaded statistic lecturer at the Metropolitan Polytechnic. Students called him, 'the one-minute Professor' because he only allowed one minute grace after entering the class for any late coming or distraction.
"You have just 10 minutes before Professor one-minute enters his class. Leave these papers and run along. I don't want to be responsible for your failure," Moses told May. His last statement was annoying and she would've given him a piece of her mind but she rushed past him, telling herself the she would remind him later, that nobody can make May fail in anything.
The two did not meet again until during convocation. Coincidentally, they were both top flight students and both received prizes for excelling their various fields. While May emerged the best student in her department, Moses sailed to the top as the best overall student in the school.
On their way back from the podium with their certificates and laurels, May heard as somebody whisper, "I see you made it to the statistic class after all; thanks to me." She turned and realized it was Moses. She sneered back, "Listen, you arrogant man. Just because you attempted to act like a gentleman and prevented me from picking up your book does not make you anything other tham what you are..." She began but he did not allow her to finish.
"What am I?" he asked, goading her, clearly enjoying her agitation and the look on her face.
"You are arrogant and you don't know anything," She finished.
Moses replied: "I would've believe your judgement, but unfortunately, that is not what my certificate says. You know, you look cute when you are angry. I would love to see you angry more often."
They met again a few years later. May worked as a front desk officer in a commercial bank and Moses was a management trainee at an oil company. He had gone to May's bank for a transaction and met her.
"Hi May, you are here!" Moses exclaimed on seeing her.
"Moses," she called his name and did not miss the excitement in her voice.
"You sound as if you are happy to see me," he observed.
"Well, that is because I've been wondering where my arrogant school mate disappeared to. Maybe I missed your cockiness," May told him.
"I am sorry, May. Look allow me to make up for all the annoying things I did to you. How about lunch? Please," he pleaded and she agreed.
Their relationship progressed after that meeting to a steady love affair and after 2 years of courtship, they got married. Moses could never have suspected his beautiful wife had a secret until 5 years into their blissful union.
It started with a visit from May's long time friend and roommate in school, Precious. She had travelled to the United States of America after graduation to be with her parents, who were based there. May and her friend (Precious) constantly kept in touch on phone and through social media. Moses had no problem with his wife spending a lot of time chatting and making a long distance call. May had a lot of fond things to say about Precious. "I can't wait to see your friend that you always talk about," Moses always told her.
Precious finally arrived. When they went to pick her from the airport, Moses noticed how May dotted on Precious. From then on, the lady took up all the space in his wife's life. Although she was lodged in a hotel on the Island, Precious was always around. Moses left May alone. He understood that she needed to catch up on the friendship.
When it was time to travel on an official mission to Europe, he was happy to leave May behind because he knew she would have Precious to keep her company. His flight was for 10pm, so he spent the whole afternoon with his wife and then, Precious came in shortly before 7pm to escort her friend and the husband to the airport.
Moses' flight got cancelled 20 minutes to take-off time because of a security warning at the airport. The flight was rescheduled for the following day. It was all good, he thought as he took a cap back to his house to spend another night with his wife. The entrance door was locked when he got there. Not willing to disturbed her sleep, he used his key. On entering the house, moans stopped him from his tracks. They were coming from his bedroom.
May, his wife with another man? He didn't believe it but yanked the door open. May and Precious sprang up from the bed. They were naked!
PoliticsAt 53, Should We Still Believe In One Nigeria? by Pinkybush(op): 9:24am On Oct 03, 2013
On Tuesday, 1st October, 2013, Nigeria marked her 53rd years of independence that was celebrated all over the country. To this end, many people, groups have given their opinions, suggestions to the betterment of this country. Also, many people have said that Nigeria should be separated. Even the Northern Elders Forum has said the North is not afraid of the break-up of Nigeria if its citizens vote for it at the end of any conference.
The spokesman for the forum, Prof. Ango Abdullahi, said this in a telephone interview in Abuja, on Wednesday.
However, Abdullahi a former Vice-chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, said, "The Sovereign National Conference (SNC) that people are advocating; people are saying that it is a way for Nigeria to break-up. This should not be a problem. Even in Britain today, Scotland is still agitating to opt out of the United Kingdom, even in Northern Island problem is still there.
"In Spain, there are separalist groups agitating for independence. Even recently, we had in Soviet Union and it has broken up into 11 different countries.
" India was created in 1948, in one year there was Pakistan, in another year was Bangladesh. So why shouldn't it happen in Nigeria if they (advocates of SNC) believe this is the way to go"?
At 53, how many times has south-south become President? Even this one opportunity is not going smooth due to political distractions, insurgency, etc.
The Holy Bible even confirm that, "There is time for everything".
I think and I believe Nigeria is overdue for separation of this "unhealthy marriage".
What do you think?
