Etisalat's easylife tariff plan is a cheat. The plan charges 15k/s (#9) flat rate to all networks after the first minute of the day is charged at 40k/s(#24). Now if you do not stop your first call of the day after 1min and dial again, the network continues to charge you at 40k/s. So if your first call of the day lasts for 10mins, your call charges becomes #240 instead of #109. This plan was copied from glo's Glo bounce where the glo's system automatically starts to charge you 15k/s as soon as you hit the first 1min of the day. I complained to their customer Care service and was told by one of their agents that I will have to stop my first call of the day after 1min and dial back after that. How many times will you remember to do that when having a business conversation or a heated argument on the phone. Its just a dumb thing to be told. Businesses in Nigeria always device cheat mechanisms to rob/cheat Nigerians. Can you imagine the billions of naira etisalat has made from this cheat? Hmmmmm and its a foreign company o.
