Wall clock on the wrist! |
This could be a simple case of drug abuse and nothing more. Everything doesn't have to be spiritual. Some Eyinbos to go naked on the street after LSD, speed, crack and doing lines and pills |
They should stop saying, drunk man! Anyone in their right sense can drink water on his table in a restaurant. He was assassinated/poisoned. What is an insecticide dong on a restaurant table? Even cleaning agents will have marked bottle. Talkless of an insecticide in a water bottle. Its on heard of. |
Not impressed by the architecture or designs. Looks like an uninspiring local government secretariat. It's ridiculous how these people lack exposure. Not impressed. If he builds that for himself what do we expect he builds for the community? Bunch of ruling illiterate opportunist. But then we are all to naturally mirror our immediate society. Products of failed states. |
Sojourn to Spain by Land too cliche. You need to keep readers interested you don't explain everything in the title like Nolllyword people. That's very uninspirational. Ajala by Gabzy Unereka (sometimes titles should be the last thing you think about) First you have to develop the story. And as the story develops title ideas will come which you keep on a side note. Chapters Title can be: Edo 1978, Agadez 1999, ...Cadiz 2002 Gabzy can you contact me via inbox? |
As an experienced traveler. Most of the time it doesn't make any sense to travel internationally by road especially if you are not going to the next country A to B. Its even more expensive, exhausting and very time-consuming. I've met Nigerians in all sorts of shitty countries, places their families will never imagine they are. Stuck and semi-destitute. Some, where misled. Some really had an averagely paying job in NG. They quit and embark on such regretable journey without the right sets of skills. The people that really survive the road those type of skills are not taught in any school. That's why Gaby spoke about the real 419. The one on one thing. Anybody outside the realm will never know the real GUY MEN schemes. Those are the real hustle. Some pick it up out of necessity to survive. But in reality, there is no victimless crime. The governor of your state embezzling funds, Might not think that he is creating victims such as the road travelers. Road travelers commit crimes along their way creating more victim footprint. Dodgy human smugglers. Dirty border cops. Greedy businessmen who get hooked on GUY story. They do lie when they call home too. Spend 5 years in some shitty place. Have kids that will never meet their extended families. I've always prayed for the spirit of fear. And that spirit of fear lets me realize my limits. The point of return. It's good to try. But when water pass garri, it's no more a worthy drink! The experiences are one in a lifetime unique experiences. But I always make sure I can go back home. Don't be afraid or embarrassed about deportation or returning home with nothing. I'd rather go back and restrategize; then make the move again. Maybe I'll create another nick to be more expressive. I rarely comment. But an avid NL reader since its inception. Gaby sounds authentic. Unless he is telling another man's story. |

TO that guy saying he grew up watching Multichoice .. Multichoice came to Nigeria 1994. So don't even try to act old. You probably dont even know DBN that I think was the first Private station in Nigeria and even that was in the 90s. And same goes for the guys talking MiTv and AIT they came very much later. We are talking about days when it was only NTA (The national TV) and few State Stations. Even up to university days in Ife some state stations were still using CARDBOARD PAPER DRAWINGS to write MORNING NEWS on the background. Though you will be luckier growing in Lagos because we had at least 3 NTAs. Nta channel 7, channel 10 and another nta maybe 3 or so . And the only state station LTV with co-location with Clapper Board later on. I don't know if that's how they spelled clapperboard. The choices were very limited. And they all closed 12am. Tv was 4pm to 12am everybody goes to sleep. And the weekend is better I think 9am to 12am. There where no generators everywhere like this. I can't remember if electricity was better because it been a long time ago. But I know I dont see generators. If you got back from school early you would go to play football and when its 4 pm everybody disappears from the feilds. |
Very glad to watch the Kid VIdeo intro again never seen that since the early 80s and couldn't remember the name. I had a big crush on the girl. You can see she's pretty. She stole my heart for a long time. But then later maybe in the early 90s that girl that does the advert for Cadbury Breakfast TV (Eclaires). That half-caste girl melts my heart every Saturday morning. |

Foreign trained usually have better discipline and original date of births (AGE). They are less tricky too. I understand him. He prefers to work people that have been westernized or better groomed. Most of the local players are usually too crude and bunch of lazy liars without professional discipline. They will even gang up against a coach. Old lying players with arthritis already - taking longer time to heal off injuries due to old age and dying cells. |
Stop spreading fake news quickly bloggers. That language is Brazilian Portuguese. And most likely 98% Brazil. |
Keep your job and start consulting for other companies. Start your own consulting firm right under their nose. With all the ideas you have been pushign to them. Start with this month when you get your salary get an incorporation 1. Incorporate your new company. 2. Print and design materials like letter head , complimentary cards etc. 3. start hunting for contracts (you will realize its not as easy as you think but then it pays off at the end when people start to knwo you are now running your own business). If possible get a small office and put a secretary there too that may not be doing much and be getting paid salary but make sure salary is as low as minimum wage. So you dont hang yourself). And office should just be a small space desk and and a computer. 12x12ft shouldn't be far from home too for convenience. 4. If you get lucky and things start going well for contracts and bids .. you can quit |
That road is the worst road in the whole of Lagos. And you have very important organizations / corporations on the road. Most of the iron recycling plants are on this road, Laspotech, PZ, NNPC, Portland Cement etc. The Lasma people are usually happy towing trailers and trucks that brakes down on the road. So I guess high revenue for them due to bad road. High volume of trailer/truck activities. God forbid I imagined that one day the government will only attend to this road when trailer kills say 50 persons. Around the winners area last year atlest 7 people died. Deaths occur frequently too. A lot of fatal accidents. I read somewhere that the FG via Special Intervention Fund allocated N2bn for rehabilitation and was suppose to commence September. http://blackboxnigeria.com/2017/01/31/fg-spend-2billion-ikorodu-sagamu-road/ |
Looks like someone kidnapped and the kidnappers celebrated his birthday for him in a bush. |
With syringe and needles at the scene those are probably crack/coke/heroin addicts turn destitute. Crack turn people into vampire looking creatures. Google face of crack. |
