Please, how did you apply for Visa on arrival. I sent an application and i got a response about 5hrs later that it was received. Now, ive not heard anything from them. I called someone at the NIS and she told me it doesnt work like that, that i should have called an officer that works there to follow up. This wasnt on the website. Please, help me out. Thanks

Rigorous process to shortlist 3,500 candidates for the interview. Out of which 400 as opposed the initial 700 some of us speculated about will be selected as DPR staff.
Mind you, all these 400 will not be on merit list!. Nearly 60% will be for those with the longest legs in this country. The rest...it's going to be highly competitive. It's safe to say there's hope in a "no man's land" than in this country in terms of white collar job. This will probably be my last post on this thread.
For those with portals closed, please be HOPEFUL as there's nothing God cannot do. I wish y'all best of luck. I've moved ON unto greater things by God's grace.

Was it stated in their SMS and email that they're successful or invited for interview? Or you just assumed the update texts is for successful candidate.

This is no assumption. The earlier the better you move on to other things.

Now, every staff is aware that texts and emails have been sent to successful candidates. That's the merit list. I wouldn't know why some received messages and their portals still got close. Trust me it's hard digesting the news and typing on here.Portals closed, case closed.

I just placed a call now to someone very close to me that works there. Those people that can access their portals and got text and emails are the candidates moving to the next stage. I'm hurt but hey life goes on.....

Well, let's call a spade a spade. I see no reason why some portals will be closed and while some is still opened. And it was clearly stated that you should always refer to your portal for necessary information. Closure of portal isn't generic so for those that can still access theirs, congrats. Mind you, mine says "application portal closed" but hey! I'm still hopeful.

Does it mean that if yours says "application portal closed" means you're automatically out of the race?

Such a big lie!!! Whatever you don't know, don't say. I can categorically tell you no staff of DPR knows anything. They're all trying to seive to know what's up

As for second test, I think people are guessing so bcus of last time but it may not be so because eraproserve and snapnet are not the same. don't be surprised that they'll release the final list even without the so called interview.

remember, apart from your scores in the test, your credentials and age can also be used to sieve candidates.

I'm sure there's going to be an interview.But then, My inner mind is praying that there shouldn't be a second test! I pray God answer our prayers.

In-source, out-source, up-source and down-source. Non of the staff really know what's up not even some of their Ogas. But based on logistics... no "speculations" there's likely going to be another test before the interview...they won't take in all 700 or 750 staff at once. It's going to be in batches. Probably 250, 250, 250. The portal will be opened for new recruiting exercise and so on. Though the story no gel one kain but na the thing wey she talk be that.
