Alright,I applied for the job immediately after my youth service. I didnt stay at home for up to 3weeks before i started working as an admin assistant. During the interview i guess i impressed her because i was given an appointment letter immediately. I was always attentive and learning on the job but its wasnt really easy because i didnt have prior experience. To cut the story short i started noticing my boss angry and always complaining all the time. I didnt know how to handle the situation,a former staff told me thats how she is that i should try and get closer to her which am not good at.
The way i was brought up contributed to me being an introvert, its takes time for me to build relationship with people. I dont just click to people instantly. Whenever the boss arrived my co workers would go and meet her at the parking lot,collect her bags and carry her baby then they would gist ask her about her night bla bla bla even if she was angry with them she would have to forget whatever transpired between them.
The final straw was when a customer came and i was filling in for another person then i couldnt answer the customers question but she just started raging ,she wouldnt even sit down the next thing she called my boss. I was filling in for someone who quickly stepped out so the questions she was asking,i had no idea. I guess i felt intimidated by her cos she didnt even allow me talk and i suddenly forgot how to be a professional. Its was all for the best tho cos its was a 7am to 5pm job,of which i would have woken up 4am so i can leave home 5am and beat the traffic at VI,then sometimes i dont leave the office till around 6 or 7, then get home 8pm which the pay wasnt much and tf was eating all of it from surulere to VI everyday.

Can u hurt anyone as an introvert. How do u feel when u need something and u cannot get it.
How do u go about asking for things, are u a fan of direct asking or cutting corners.

I will say regardless of what might have happened he has no right, if he cab man is angry park and let the lady get out of your car. Some people are asking what did she do, something is missing the only thing missing is brain in the empty skull of the driver.

I dont care if the lady is rude, I can't imagine someone beating up my daughter, sister, mom..... because he beats his wife at home doesnt mean he can go around beating other lady to satisfy his male ego

I went to buy some food this morning from a local vendor early this morning because The Promise in my area has no food. I learnt they had an order to deliver by 7:30 so they focused on the order. While at the local vendor, a girl asked a boy to stop talking that his saliva would enter in a plate.
The boy was angry and asked the girl what is dat though the girl was right but after passing her message, she didn't keep quite. She keep on provoking the boy asking what will u do and the boy was like I took tramadol and I will slap u, bleed u and nothing will happen. The girl keep challenging and I was heh, what the Bleep.
Women should be careful how they talk to men because some men are not smiling at all.
It took the intervention of an army person who came to buy to stop the girl from saying any more word.

And who thinks Abba is acting on his own.

I did at least 3 interviews last year, got one of the roles..I have more than 8yrs work experience. I can assure you , all the companies I have interviewed with never asled me those questions.

They go straight to the point and already have HR models for questioning for specific roles to deterrmine not only role fit but culture fit.

In some cases , you do presentations and they ask some questions about your slides or solution and that is all.

I was having a discussion with my Manager about some stuffs. He then reminded me of a girl who came for job. He told me, he asked her, Where do you See Yourself in Five Years?
And she was like " I am not sure I am going to be here for one year"

It really makes men look bad when we admire you, try to call u later and then u decline giving us ur digits.
I personally have stopped asking girls for numbers except we connected well on our first me.
I remember a girl who will always stalk at me I noticed and my first approach wasn't impressive till now I haven't asked her her number. Although, she said she has a BF but am coming back for her and what d Bleep she still stalk at me.
While there are girls I take their numbers with little effort but when I connect with a lady in the first meet, it is always easy for me to collect numbers. A girl will always deny men their number if the guy did not connect well wit dem.

You sound like one this cancaworm eating down our country, so you support he continue staying idle when one did the job meant for both?
I smell Nigerian pattern here. Collecting salary without working, this why we are this awkward.

My problem tho is that maybe these guys are not sharing the same work which makes the guy jealous. But if they are sharing the same work, he should try and leave also when the other is on seat. This will bring to the notice of the organization and maybe both of them be called to order. Except the other has the backing of the management.

I love my job, my Boss and my colleagues. As an Accountant, our job requires that we sit long hours on our computers updating the Companies expenditure and asset database. however, there is a challenge.

My department colleague is hardly on sit during working hours. he loves to leave to chat, socialize and even do personal runs during work. I have tried to help him severally by discussing (one-on-one) as par 'man to man', but no effect. He is simple and very intelligent but not focused because he is to playful. This has affected our department's output severally, as personally I discussed this matter with the HR, my own Boss and other familiar Bosses, but all seem not to be too concerned. They just sympathize. I love my work, we are well paid and really doing well as a company.

Please kindly advice me on what to do

U c, some boys have bought the minds of their bosses in their place of work not with money but with words of mouth.
I am going through this now in my place of work.
Funniest thing is the my Boss marries the sister to this guy. After much of endurance I decided to be taking the risk he is taking. This risk always hunt me but I started. If the guy comes by 3 instead of our normal 2pm next day I come by 3:30pm.
If he miss a day, I miss a day also. If he is to resume in the morning and calls me to cover him in the morning I will and the next day miss my turn.
Although I don't have anything that will be keeping me at home while it's time to work but, I need to play the game he is playing. Right now, I am planning to be missing my shift till he adjust.
The bad side tho is that when he does his own I won't complain to anyone but when I do mine he, complains to almost everyone that others are seeing me as a bad fellow. My Boss also is favoring him as the manager is also from his state.
My advise tho if u are doing separate work concentrate on yours and leave his but if u share the same work flex too. No kill urself in silence. It is good also to have one of the heads at ur side. But if u r introvert u might not win except u up ur game wella.
