TRUST ME BRUV, all pharmacists are glorified chemists. all training required to become a pharmacist is unnecessary. they just make you go through hoops to weed out people. pharmacy training can easily be acquired in 2 months. in america there is a profession called pharmacy tech. they do exactly the same thing a pharmacist does. the point here is, the degree is just to get you in the door, the job itself is very easy and can be trained on the job in weeks.

Okay, check out the guy who recommended ABU ( yes , ABU is OK ), but then, at the end of his statement, he added a condition, and that is if she could cope with the issues of staying up north ( and u most definitely know what goes on up north ). Would u rather not prefer where u would study with the ease and peace of the mind ?

It is amazing how people reason, the poster asked a very straight forward question, she didn't open this thread to get an opinion pool on whether to study in Nigeria or not, she asked where will be best for her to practise her profession in the future. For her to come back to Nigeria to get a university education must have been a well thought out decision so please let us advise her on the concerns raised and not become school counsellors in our own rights.

@Poster, I know you have said Unilag so I am guessing you have made up your mind on the school you want to go to, but ABU Zaria is another good school for Pharmacy, their Pharmacy programme is well thought out, well structured and planned. That is if you think you can cope in the North though.

seconded!studyd pharm at abu and just grad last session.doing my internship at abuth shikka.i highly recommend it 2 studious mind especialy since samaru campus is nearly zero free 4rm yahooyahoo and cultism.school fees wit acco on campus does'nt add up 2 40K as of 2010/2011 academic session and 4da more the cost of living in zaria is moderate.religious crisis frequent in d north hav neva hit samaru campus.
