My wife bought land, I helped her register it solely in her name and am currently helping her to build a house on it; though the larger portion of the money is from her income. That is not the problem, they should reduce the amount they give them for upkeeps and other rubbish reasons in other to make the position unattractive. And put in efforts to make sure that the consistent money they give them is used for the purpose.

Somebody I know is going through this now in Europe, he was using his own money to build in Nigeria properties in both of them name not mr and mrs only, whilst the wife saved to take mortgage in Europe to day they are both living in the house bought by the wife without his name and he is trying to put his name on the deed of oath but the wife refused and said that he is her tenants whilst the man contributes to the house rent in fact he pays half of the mortgage.
