We offloaded many materials needed for plastering and POP ceiling on site today, towards night time, more pictures later.

Current price is N3,500 for the brand i love to use most, ABS. Others could be between N3,200 and N3,300.

That is the POP 'sponge' (street name). This is used as a thickening agent. It looks like raffia and is spread in between the wet POP cement, when dry, the cast will be very solid.

Let's look at some of the rosettes and cornice we are making for these ceilings........

Some of these, are just my molds which we will use to produce the real designs........

The next item on our agenda here are the windows. We are going to Onitsha today to select the window profiles and glass so we can start working on the windows.

I am worried if that’s what it is. Please Nwanna look into it. I don’t want to spoil the mood of this beautiful thread but that thing made me very worried. Dalu.

Just by touching it and smelling it, this is an item made from a type of plastic yarn. This material is closely related to a lot of other building materials in the market, and other domestic products like the plumbing yarn used in water pipe joining. It has no know relationship with the banned asbestos which has been phased out from the Nigerian building industry.
