I invested some funds in equity fund with stanbic ibtc.

Over months now, it hasn't appreciated. Infact what's there is below my capital. Historical facts is not an indicator of present or future performance.

Don't be deceived by 63% yield. Nah him my capital no still complete. Abeg

Please I just logged into my blunest URL now and I discovered the inflow in my naira wallet is short of the money I have topped up for MMF. One of my top up of 20k is not reflecting. Because I top up 20k every weekend

Interest rate is really going down hence my question. For someone who has the mmf and want to take it a step further by adding another portfolio to the existing mmf. A per folio with a medium risk but will most likely yield over 20% annually. What will you recommend.

Uncle Emmasoft has preached countless times,' you don't have to run from one asset manager to another'. Instead if you are not comfortable with one, open another one and keep both active.

So if u have 100m in stanbic, is that how u will withdraw and put in cowrywise then vice versa again. Atimes 2 months I may not even open my app. No need to dey calculate for them. If there are better options for you to invest, u put ur funds there instead of calculating daily interest.

Even if things turns out good for you, wouldn't mean you're on the right track. It's like a software engineer or a mechanic who while fiddling with a faulty code / engine, accidentally fixed it; despite not know what actually He/Her did. She said she understands how it works..she said she saw it was high risk and she put her money. It's not that she will now sit and be monitoring all day which stock will go up or down that I will buy. That's the work of a stockbroker or asset managers. I think there is nothing bad in what she did. If it turns good or bad, she knew the risk before going in. Instead of blaming her, it's stanbic you should blame that why did they invest in the stocks when they know it will become bearish. She as an investor didn't know which stock they bought.

Is the price still the same

Instead of switching to other MMF, Just collect the money and open shop. Because where you are running to, you still run again by the time you see further decline. And you cant afford to be running up and down like that forever.

It doesnt take long. An hour or 6 hrs. But it will reflect and u will get a confirmation email upon receival

I share the same concerns. However, considering that Stanbic compounds interest quarterly while FBN does so annually, the difference between the two may narrow to about 1% if we look at their Equivalent Annual Rates. The reason I'm actually still with them is their daily interest remittance, user-friendly app and accessible customer service. Who knows, maybe those are the same reasons others are also sticking around. But if the interest gap keeps widening, I may have to switch. The more informed folks amidst us can assist to throw more light on this….

FBNQuest does theirs quarterly as well. Your daily interest grows and at the end of the quarter, it's added to your principal which accrues interest again for the next quarter

No doubt Tbills is a major underlying asset of MMF. However, the rate change is not automatic. It doesn't mean that the day tbills rate rise it will happen with MMF. It's has to do with revalution of the assets. Definitely increase in tbills rate will have a positive effect on MMF which we are already witnessing. Just hold on, in a short while increase in tbills rate will reflect more on MMF.

Have you noticed that the MMF rates have been higher than tbills rates for the greater part of this year? Moreover the benchmark for MMF rate is always the 90 days tbills rate.

By the way SFS is 10.02% as at today.

MMF or Fixed income fund remain a low risk investment that all investors can always falll back on when the going gets tough with the much riskier investment windows. It's also a very good point for newbies to dive into the world of investment because your fingers can never get burnt.
Again MMF becomes handy when it comes to building emergency fund.

Good Morning Everyone.
so we ve been trying to concieve since 2020 but it never happened, we started with Pregnacare conception but yet nothing happened and we were advised to try tracking at a hospital so as we can get the accurate ovulation and try. During the tracking process we found out that my wife's eggs usually form cysts and do not shed when they are supposed to, so the doctor advised to give her an injection which will trigger the ovulation but still nothing worked and we made up our mind to try the IVF. We read a lot of reviews online and we used Nordica Fertility Treatment. i remember explaining to them our history and they did their own tests and everything, The sperm counts and mortility are good but we usually see cysts on my wifes eggs and they said she would be placed on treatment to help the eggs so we can get better quality eggs and proceed with the ivf ( my wife is under 30 and slim). so she was stimulated and given the meds to take at a specific time everday and we made sure we did everything well. during the egg retrieval we had good eggs according to them and 6 was the best and they went ahead to fertilize the 6 and 4 was doing okay at day 3 but they only transferred back 3 (1 grad 1 and two grade 2 all 8 cells). after the 14 day wait with prayers, it came out negative but the period didn't come till later, we were calling to figure out what we didn't do well but their counternance was just poor, all they said is sometimes things like this happen and that the doctor will call us after two weeks and they didn't call till like the 3rd week, as the doctor was explaining, he said that they eggs they got out was Extremely granulated and we were not lucky. I asked why didn't you say anything when you found out that the eggs were not of good quality and still proceeded with the fertilization and transfer? and how come no one from your clinic has called or reached out since.

so please my questions are How can we improve the Egg quality?

I am really worried. Had 2 ivf this year with ICSI and non made it to embryo transfer. My prolactin level has been unstable. Wen I stop taking cabagolene, it rises again.
The 2 processes, the eggs were fertilised, and they just stopped growing/ dividing. The first one 4 eggs fertilised, second one 7 eggs fertilised.
Everything seems well with my wife. I have low sperms count though, which have been taking medications for. It was urologist that okayed the first ivf. Cs it was zero as at October and January wen I tested, it became 4m.
Don't know what could be arresting the growth of the embryo. I Don tire. Much has been borrowe6and spent. Wife is becoming tense towards me at home now self. I don't know. Pls help.

I saw Emeka this morning at Gwagwalada here. The last time I saw him was on bike on thur heading to Wazobia Park to enter night bus.
He went to Lagos to bring a Toyota Camry muscle for a client here. When I saw him this Saturday morning. I saw his body. Asked him what happened. He very fair in complexion. He had bruised skin. He narrated that it happened around 5.30/6.00pm on Friday Friday on the Lagos Ibadan expressway. The car at his front was a Belgium Benz, straight from Port. The bandit appeared from nowhere in army camo. The Benz was riddled with bullets. He matched the brake instantly. Opened the door. Held the key and fone in his pocket and and rolled in the bush. He saw death. The driver of the Benz was killed the other person abducted. He said the bandits came from behind too and started riddling cars and occupants with bullets. Ribs were shattered. Like 6/7 people were abducted according to him.
God saved him.. He still drove the car after the bandits left, helped some people to ibadan and arrived Abuja this morning. Yellow Emeka.
