Founded by Nigerian-born gay, Rev. Rowland Jide Macaulay, House of Rainbow, which came to Nigeria in 2006, is “an inclusive and affirming religious community open and welcome to all people including s*xual minorities and marginalised people, a monthly gathering of ‘people of faith’ for ‘prayer and praise’, which focuses on the person’s journey towards reconciliation of se*uality and spirituality.”
Macaulay, a trained lawyer and son of a reverend who owns a massive church in Lagos, is leading the comeback even though he remains in self-imposed exile in London, where sources said he currently enjoys lots of financial sponsorship for the movement.

Unlike in the pre-2008 when the church openly operated at Jakande Estate, Isolo, and Berger in Lagos, Macaulay, who is the backbone of the movement, is not secretive of the meeting places and time of the church in Nigeria, but has instituted a very stringent process to screen prospective members of coming to join the church.
It was learnt that aside Nigeria, the church has two groups each in Ghana and United Kingdom (UK).
“We now have new groups in Malawi and Ghana. There are currently three groups in Nigeria, two each in Ghana and the UK and one each in Malawi, Lesotho and Burundi. All these groups are managed by volunteers,who are appointed through a rigorous ‘Local Leader Application’ process.
“We currently have 12 appointed Local Leaders in 6 countries. Currently we have over 25 outstanding applications for local leaders including, but not limited to the following locations: France, Netherlands, Cote d’Ivoire, Sierra-Leone. This has continued to strengthen the interest and work of House Of Rainbow particularly in Africa,” Macaulay

You're Serena Williams, you're not used to being told "no," right? Especially on something so commonplace as taking a picture. But as Serena learned on Friday at the Honda Classic golf tournament, the PGA Tour plays no favorites ... everybody's got to toe the line. On Twitter, Serena was in the gallery at the 17th tee. (The Golf Channel's Randall Mell reported that Tiger "did a double take" when he saw her there.) Serena took out her camera and prepared to shoot. Not so fast, Missy...
That's a brave security guy, yelling at Serena. Anyway, she tried to offer a defense:

Serena busted: Tennis star Serena Williams may do no wrong on the court, but at the Honda Classic, that's a completely different story.

On Friday, Serena attempted to take a photo of Tiger Woods but was interrupted by the security at the event. And Serena's shocked face was not only priceless, but caught on tape.

In the video, which you can watch below, the announcers catch Serena among the throngs of people watching Tiger Woods up close at the Honda Classic. That's when the commentators begin to gush over Williams, claiming that she's one of the best tennis players in the world.

Not long after that moment, Serena pulls out her cell phone to snap a photo of Woods. But just as she's about to snap the photo, a man walks up and puts his hands near or over Serena's camera, blocking her from taking the picture.
Serena's face then says it all, as the tennis champion is shocked beyond belief. The commentators seem to have a good laugh about it, too, suggesting that it doesn't really matter who you are at the Honda Classic, because if you're caught taking a picture, you will get busted.

Rapper Lupe Fiasco was thrown offstage and escorted off the premises of a Washington, D.C. concert hall during a pre-inauguration concert Sunday night, after going on an anti-war, anti-Obama rant, according to concertgoers.

Josh Rogin, a reporter with Foreign Policy magazine, tweeted late Sunday, "Lupe Fiasco just got thrown off stage here at the Hamilton Live after he went on an anti-Obama diatribe mid set."

"So Lupe played one anti-war song for 30 min and said he didn't vote for Obama," he continued, "and eventually was told to move on to the next song...Lupe refused to move to the next song so a team of security guards came on stage and told him to go."

This isn't the first time the rapper, born Wasalu Muhammad Jaco, has been vocal about his dislike for the president.

During an interview with CBS in 2011, he called the president a terrorist. Lupe said, "My fight against terrorism, to me, the biggest terrorist is Obama and the United States of America. I'm trying to fight the terrorism that's actually causing the other forms of terrorism."



"You know, the root cause of terrorism is the stuff the U.S. government allows to happen. The foreign policies that we have in place in different countries that inspire people to become terrorists."

Lupe has also criticized Obama's stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and has stated that he does not vote in elections because of his anti-establishment views.

StartUp Rock On, the concert's organizers, claimed shortly after 2:00 a.m. Monday that Lupe "left the stage earlier than we had planned. But Lupe Fiasco was not 'kicked off stage' for an 'anti-Obama rant.'"

"We are staunch supporters of free speech, and free political speech," the organizers said. "This was not about his opinions. Instead, after a bizarrely repetitive, jarring performance that left the crowd vocally dissatisfied, organizers decided to move on to the next act."
