This human right nonsense will never work in Nigeria. The Western countries brought this human rights laws does not have the kind of Criminals who steals all the money meant for the development of the country . i believe if the Western countries have this kind of thieves in their system they wouldn't think twice before they declare a state of emergency on them

While some of your points may be valid, my own argument is that a ministry that has been in a coma for almost 5 decades cannot be suddenly ressurected in 2 years. Only a miracle will make it happen. Patience isn't a virtue Nigerians have. This a capital intensive sector, a lot of assets and equipment must be replaced before any meaningful progress can be made. Only the capitalist can afford it and most of them had to look for money through their nose to even pay the acquisition fee. We do not understand the internal workings of this things most times. we have all contributed to the failure if this country.

Listen, it's very easy to analyse. GEJ took over from Yaradua's tenure in may 2010 if i'm not wrong, he spent over 12 month as a president before he was elected to this tenure in that is about to expire by may 29th right ? , a good leader would have known the state of power in the country during this time frame before he start promising people that there will be an interrupted power supply within 3 years if he's elected in. At least that was one of his campaign point in 2011. So If he truly knew the state the power sector then, why did he lied to Nigerian ?? to gain cheap point isn't ??

I believe a right thinking person knows now that GEJ is a lier. Once beaten, twice shy. Yeah

After Buhari wins this election, good fortunes will come to this country.

Definitely, the creeks will go haywire again, Buhari will send the troops to the creeks and together they will set the oil facilities ablaze.

While these persists, the oil producing companies will simply withdraw their personnel from the volatile region and all foreign investment will seize in all sectors. And even if the troops kill 90% of the militants, it will take just one militant, a dynamite and just one location along the multi- kilometre trunklines to continue to wreck havoc.

Fast forward to 2019, if we remain one country and without a civil war,, we will be an economic wreck with no allocations and salaries, no capital projects, no hope with dollar exchanging for 400 naira and we are worse off than we were in 2015.

Cos the truth is that without crude proceeds for now, Nigeria is finished.

And then, we'll be screaming another 'Change' because we would have learnt a bitter lesson in the hands of the Fulanis, Tinubu and Saraki. And then we will ask.... Why were we this silly?

And before you quote me, make sure you outline in clear terms how you or Buhari will avert this obvious calamity staring us in the face

Only last week, they creek boys seem to have resumed activities by kidnapping at Yoho facility operated by Exxonmobil and have shut in 80KBD already. Are we ready for this for the next 4 years?

The entire world stands to benefit from a crisis in the Niger delta. Its not a coincidence that USA who abandoned us at the height of bokoharam is busy shouting for change in govt . Crises in the ND will reduce supply of crude to the Oil market and that would drive up the price of crude for producing countries.... But at Nigeria's expense.

Nigerians.... Be Warned!!!

DO THEY HAVE PVCs??!!!

This question has been recycled so many times and I am surprised when it comes from people who should know better. Let me try and explain;

(1) Yes, in fact they may have PVCs. I know a few people who came home to register and are coming this week to get their PVCs. Expand your network and get to know more people.

(2) Even if they don't have PVCs, they are stakeholders in the Nigerian project. The diaspora community sends back billions of dollars home EVERY YEAR! That translates to a higher GDP that strengthens the economy. You therefore can NOT neglect them. You must have a onverstaion with them on why they should trust the GMB govt. Why they should consider moving back etc! Think

(3) Do you even realise the population of Nigerians in Diaspora? Do you know how much influence they may have on their people back home? I know a woman who is a leader of her constituency and stays in Baltimore She is highly respected by THOUSANDS! She is in the US because she is sad about the state of things in Nigeria. If she sees reason with a GMB govt, she can single-handedly influence THOUSANDS OF VOTES!! can give you her name if you want! She doesn't have a PVC o. But she is worth thousands of votes!!

(4) Lastly, THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY!! During the American election 3-day debate, A WHOLE DAY was dedicated to FOREIGN POLICY!! Do you think US does not have enough domestic issues? of course Nigeria is not as powerful as the US and can't have a say in a lot of foreign policy discussions but the International community needs to have CONFIDENCE in the govt. That's the only way they will invest (and thus bring employment etc). So the CHATHAM HOUSE SPEECH for example was directed at mostly the intl community.

Please let's try to do some basic reasoning and not follow the crowd to yell same things over again!!

Cheers

We might not have PVC but we have families in Nigeria who has PVC's and the professor has used this medium to inform the Nigerians in Diaspora what their plan is for the country and you don't wanna know the influence we have back home in Nigeria. It is a known fact that remittance from Nigerians living abroad is up to 25 billion dollars yearly and the bulk of this money goes to family members in Nigeria as support so what this implies is that most family members that gets support from from abroad are likely to heed to advice on who to vote for in the coming elections from these Nigerians Living abroad.

This Poll has been hijacked by APC hackers.

We need to bring it down for investigation.

can't we just be logical for once ??

what you are implying is that SEUN allowed hackers to compromise his website ??

and if there are hackers inflating the LIKES in favour of APC, don't u think PDP can even do more ??

500,000 Applicant Multiply by the 1000 Naira each of them paid for the application form.

That is 500,000,0000 Naira ( Five Hundred Million Naira ) isn't ?? no refund,

Only in Nigeria will this happens without any consequence.

The population of Nigeria then was 81.78 Million.

Sir, a little Google search tells me that in 1984, Nigeria has a population of 81.78 Million. so its very impressive if during this period, we got only 70,000 Unemployed Degree Holders. Nigerian youth will give anything to have this kind of statistics now, don't you think ??
