Of course, he's human. No matter how big he is, he cannot openly fight a Buahri who's still CGFR of the country.

Buahri as a president will tame him. Don't overestimate Tinubu's capacity
Lmao...he openly fought with obj when he was just a governor and won...now that's he's big and have governors of important states like Rivers, Kano, Oyo and Kaduna as allies you saying he can't win ? Lol

ojoadeola:
Please be aware that the election in Lagos is not as you have it

Tinubu will win with a very wide margin

I have surveyed the Lagos area and discovered that those rooting for Obi are mainly Ibos and some Youths.

The believe that Yoruba Christians will vote for Obi is a ruse. The Yorubas understand better that religion does not matter in their politics.

If the Presidential election had come up in December 2022, Peter Obi would have done better and challenged Bola Tinubu, but the events of the past few weeks (the Naira Swap, and the ethnocentric view that the North are persecuting him) have brought the people back to Tinubu. This is evident in the boldness of URCHINS to attack and speak on Nairaland in recent days, as well as the view around the city about Tinubu and no one else.

Taking a cue also that the coming of significant developments from the Federal to Lagos State has happened majorly in this government when their son's party is in power.

They also believe that the Security of Yorubas would be more assured if they have their Son (Tinubu) in power, rather than Peter Obi who may focus on security in his own domain.

The major determinant of this shift to Tinubu is the fact that Tinubu will help them regain the losses they may likely suffer if the current Naira swap challenges continue. Thus the cliche, "vote Tinubu and continue to spend your old Naira till December 2023)

His boldness against the powers that be also gave him out as someone who would not be afraid to take some bold steps to solve Nigeria's problems.

At the National level, the continuous push and advertisement that it is the turn of the South to produce the President will work to favour Tinubu.

My final verdict - Tinubu will win Lagos, and win the National election

This is the most honest review I've read on nairaland icl ....but the write-off of atiku is much....you didn't even mention him at all

Bro I’m from Lagos and I will tell you that it’s possible for obi to win the presidency but please forget about Lagos….Note:the Yoruba Christians will betray obi
Betray? Did they promise him anything before?
And we've told you times without number there's nothing like Yoruba Christian/Muslim lol

Politics / Re: Explained: How Latest Data From INEC Shows That Tinubu Has Lost Already: Pics by Pleasant01: 1:43pm On Feb 20, 2023
MrEverest:
INEC just released their final data on PVC's collected and uncollected. Out of 10 states with the most uncollected PVCs, 7 are in the SW!

Also, when you remove Lagos, SW and SE has roughly same number of PVCs. However, while most Igbos collected their PVC, Yorubas didn't. It's an indication that Yorubas are largely uninterested in the election.

Again, when Obi emerged the flagbearer of LP and Obidients began a massive push to register for PVC, we saw crowds in many cities besieging INEC offices. Most of them were youths and it was the emergence of Obi that energized them to get their PVCs.

What this means is that while SE and SS are likely to experience massive voter turn, unlike SW. To make matters worse for Tinubu, many Yorubas that are passionate about voting are Obi supporters. What it means is that, it is now much easier for Obi to get 25% in all SW states and may even spring surprises by winning one or two!

With such expected voter aparty in SW, it is safe to say that it's all over for Tinubu. What Obi is going to get from Anambra and Rivers alone is likely to eclipse the entire votes Tinubu will get from SW😂😂.

I just hope Tinubu and his supporters have conditioned their minds about the disgrace that awaits them.

Lol....why should we remove Lagos from SW?.... and states in SW are not even up to 7 🤡🤡

Meanwhile in the real world, they buy up land in the east and coronate kings. Yet, no one attacks them nor accuses them of trying to take over Anambra.
How many times have they claimed to own the Anambra? How many times have they said Anambra is no man's land ?

Marwa left 2billion Naira for Thiefnubuu and the former Lagos sole administrator didn't borrow a dime during his time as Governor.

How much did Tinubu leave as Governor again? How much did his administration owe
Bruhh tf are you saying ? 2 bil naira ? Lagos rn generate 750bil naira per year, that's about 63bil naira per month so what's 2 bil naira going to solve?
And btw government leaving money is a dumb move....you should build industries that will generate more money or invest in companies...not just leave it
Also, how did you know Marwa left 2bil ? Marwa came to your house to give you Lagos state financial report? Abi how ?
