It does not affect me in anyway. i live my life normally and even drive. if i dont tell you about it you wont even know. mcstan18: Does the ailing eye hamper your efficiency or productivity at the work place?
That not withstanding, I do not think this will be a material issue for you though. I am yet to see it anywhere on the CIC website or beyond where eye defect is considered to render an applicant inadmissible. |

Thanks. Was it a chart you were told to read from? and how did you cover your eye? Guitarlife: The eye test that I did , I reckon one could get away with pretending to shut the other eye, am not suggesting anything. I am just trying to let you know that if you could avoid raising any attention with regards to your eye it might be better.
I wish you all the best . Maybe someone with a more definitive answer would weigh in on this. |

It's fine. What I meant is whether they test both eyes together or they isolate each eye and test. If they don't isolate my other eye is 100% so it won't be a problem. Aig842: My bad!! I thought your question about checking one eye was |

With the recent Ebola outbreak in DRC, wont be surprised if that's included. |

Please i need advice. i taught in a school during my service year. I have relevant work experience in my field since my service year (3years+). I do not intend to claim points for the service year but where i taught was in FAAN secondary school which is a government agency. From what i have read they thoroughly scrutinize government positions. Can i just put my service year as unemployed since it technically really isn't a full time employment. |

Tbh. The refusal of your TRV has no effect whatsoever on your PR application as each case is treated differently. You just need to wait for the decision on your PR application. I also suggest you forget about the summer course for now. jelmusboy: Need more advice pls |

Thanks Newmum Newmum0615: It depends. Some banks like Union Bank send you an auto response with a soft copy of your certificate after the deal is done. Most times, it's not a "certificate" in the way we mean, it's just a letter addressed to the bearer of the funds showing details of the investment and pre-signed by authorized signatories. You can use the soft copy for your application. That's what I did. |

Hello house. Please i just sent an application to my account officer in GTB for the purchase of Tbills for 50% of my POF. The account officer said that an email will be sent once it is completed. Is this what they call TB certificate or will i have to request for another certificate? |

Congrats man. Please did you have any travel history of previous visa denials? niobe77: ***Dances in with legbegbe and collects mic***
It's PPR!
My timeline ITA: Dec 20, 2017 AOR: Feb 19, 2018 MP: Mar 4, 2018 IP1: Feb 28 IP2: Mar 1 PPR: Apr 26 (saw ghost update 6hrs before golden mail) Visa office: Ottawa No ADR
"Somebody help me shout hallelujah..." ***struggles mic with usher, e remain***
My story IELTS: First attempt LSRW 7.5,6.5,7.5,7 Second attempt LSRW 8.5,8,7,7 (less prepared than 1st attempt so result was a miracle)
POF: 60% was in T bills Used personal account (left out salary account) Added spouse pension (presented pfa statement and loe from spouse) Wrote a detailed loe with xchange breakdown in a table
The Wait Was checking MyCIC everyday! Sometimes twice a day. Got too tired of the suspense then decided to find out my vo 20days after AOR. Emailed Ottawa but got auto response to use web form. Used the form and got no reply, even till now. I then researched here for alternative means and found this post. Called cic and spent 32mins on hold then 2mins to speak with agent who informed me file was at Ottawa, great! 2 days after i order gcms, yet to receive it. Continued my daily check till i saw the ghost update yesterday. Went to bed, woke up midnight to find golden mail
***beckons on choir for special number***
My worry I am expecting my baby in 3 weeks but to submit all pp within 15 days. Do i request for an extension to allow me add my new born or go ahead to send the pp now and raise cse when the baby comes? What is the process for requesting extension? Will have to fast track pp for new born but do i do new born medical upfront?
***turns towards approaching footsteps and gives usher a 'not-dropping-mic-till-i-get-response' look***
Brethren please help |
