The Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC) ranks and salary structure differs from other paramilitary agencies in the country. Their primary role is to regulate the highway/federal roads in order to prevent accidents from occurring especially for motorists and road users.’

Becoming an officer in the FRSC as a graduate is something most young people who finished from the university would love to do especially when they don’t get jobs at other paramilitary organizations like NSCDC, Nigerian Immigrations, Nigerian Prison Service and Civil defense.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has released the list of 58 illegal universities in Nigeria.

The commission said the universities are yet to be licensed by the federal government and have been shut down for violating the national minimum standard for education.

A Monday bulletin from the office of the Executive Secretary on NUC, dated May 14, listed all the illegal universities across the country.

Well, it seems Ryan Coogler might be regretting that decision as well. According to reports, Jordan is currently being considered to reprise his role as Killmonger in the upcoming sequel – which isn’t so far-fetched considering his character was resurrected in the comics.
Metro UK, which reported the news of Jordan’s possible return, also stated that Ryan Coogler is in informal talks with the supremely talented Donald Glover (Atlanta, Solo: A Star Wars Story) for a possible role in the sequel as well.

Ogundeji was impeached during the plenary session of the Assembly on Tuesday.

He was removed after 18 out of 26 lawmakers signed for his removal and the signatures were received by the Speaker of the House, Bamidele Oloyeloogun, during the session.

No fewer than three persons have been killed and several persons displaced after suspected herdsmen attacked another community in Benue State.

The attack came barely 24 hours after Vice President Yemi Osinbajo left the state.

It was gathered that the latest attack occurred on Thursday in Ukemberagya community, Gaambe-Tiev Logo LGA of the state.

A resident, who gave his name as Joe, said three people were shot and killed while several houses were also torched during the attack

The Presidency has reacted to the viral video of the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, struggling to read a speech at an event in Kano, and said it was edited and fake.

In the footage, IGP Idris, who was in Kano on Monday to commission the Police Technical Intelligence unit in the state, stammered consistently as he struggled to pronounce words.

After failed attempt to get his speech right, he apologised to his audience.

However, the clip stirred up reactions online as some Nigerians described the development as ’embarrassing and a shame to Nigerian Police Force’.

You expected superheroes to die in Avengers: Infinity War. You probably didn’t expect so many superheroes would perish by the end of the film.

The Russo brothers, who directed the film, let audiences know early on that no character was safe: fan favorite Loki is killed off in the first few minutes. Other characters met an ugly fate throughout the movie at the hands of Thanos and his minions, including Gamora (more on that later). But it wasn’t until the very end of the film that heroes began to disappear — literally.

Leak: A second Spider-Man is already in the works. And Marvel has confirmed Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will hit theaters in 2020.

Loki: Turns out Loki (Tom Hiddleston) wasn’t such a bad guy after all. In the opening scene of the movie, Loki hands over the Tesseract to Thanos (Josh Brolin) to save Thor’s (Chris Hemsworth) life. Loki offers fake fealty to Thanos and then immediately tries to assassinate the evil alien. Thanos doesn’t buy Loki’s trick and quickly murders him. Thanos quips, “No resurrections this time” after killing the trickster god, who has seemingly died twice before in the film series.

 
Heimdall: Thanos and his children murder Thor’s best friend Heimdall (Idris Elba) when they invade Thor’s ship. But before he dies, the Asgardian opens up a gateway to Earth for the Hulk to escape. Thor cries out when Heimdall perishes, and swears that Thanos will die for his actions. He does sort of avenge Heimdall later by stabbing Thanos, but unfortunately Thanos is already invincible at that point.

Gamora: Thanos travels to a planet with his adopted daughter Gamora (Zoe Saldana). There, they encounter Red Skull, the baddie from Captain America: The First Avenger who has been cursed to guard the Soul Stone. Red Skull tells Thanos that he will have to sacrifice something he loves in order to get the Soul Stone. Despite taking a commanding lead in the World’s Worst Dad competition, Thanos apparently loves Gamora — just enough to throw her over a cliff. Gamora dies and Thanos walks away with another Infinity Stone.

David Goodall Death: Scientist David Goodall, 104, has died after choosing to end his life at a clinic in Switzerland, a right-to-die organisation says.

The lauded London-born ecologist and botanist, who was not terminally ill, said the decision had been driven by his deteriorating quality of life.
Mr Goodall had flown from Australia for his assisted suicide, attracting the attention of people around the world.

In his final public appearance, he said the public interest had surprised him.

“I no longer want to continue life,” he told reporters on Wednesday.

4. Ash to ash, dust to dust. Spider-Man turns to ash in Tony’s arms, like the end of 30 Days of Night. We see Black Panther, Mantis, Drax, Bucky, Dr. Strange and Star-Lord all turn to ash. Everyone turns to freaking ash. Even Maria Hill and Nick Fury turn to ash in the after credits scene, as they watch the world around them turn to chaos.
