The Peoples Democratic Party has announced Senate President Bukola Saraki the head of its presidential campaign efforts.

Mr Saraki’s official position as the director-general of the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Organisation was disclosed on Tuesday morning by Kola Ologbondiyan, the party’s spokesperson. Mr Abubakar was elected the presidential candidate of the main opposition party at its national convention in Port Harcourt earlier this month.

Mr Saraki was amongst the 11 other aspirants who challenged Mr Abubakar for the ticket. All the aspirants have pledged support to Mr Abubakar, after deeming the exercise peaceful and transparent.

The senate president would work with six others who would coordinate the six geopolitical zones, including three other former contenders for the presidential ticket.

Microsoft co-founder and Seahawks owner Paul Allen has died following a battle with non-Hodgkins lymphoma.

Microsoft co-founder and Seahawks owner Paul Allen has died from complications associated with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He was 65.

“Paul’s family and friends were blessed to experience his wit, warmth, his generosity and deep concern,” Jody Allen, Paul Allen’s sister said in a statement. “For all the demands on his schedule, there was always time for family and friends. At this time of loss and grief for us – and so many others – we are profoundly grateful for the care and concern he demonstrated every day.”

The comedian-turned-rapper shared the news on Instagram, dropping off a new freestyle simultaneously. His bars are just as ridiculous as in any other musical showing he's pulled off. He starts off by seemingly shouting out carbon monoxide and potassium before getting right down to business.
