My little piece, do not go to two years university B.sc program been offer in some private university if you actually want to progress in your career, it a rule in Nigeria academic system that for any one to be awarded a B.sc he or she must study for at least 3 academic sessions or full-time 6 semesters. Have you seen anybody that top up the 2 year B.sc in Salem university that ever progress in career wise even in your bank? No!!
Please note this, with the 2 years top up program you cannot use it for master program both in Nigeria and abroad. My advice get DE and be admitted into 200level. Also note this! No public university in Nigeria admit students into 300 level for 4yrs course. For 5yrs course you will be admitted into 300 level and 200_level for 4yrs course with your HND.

With due respect this is not true. You can only kick start from 200L in a public school when ur are applying with OND. HND starts with 300L be it a 4 or 5 year course.

Hello gurus I sent my documents to Pusan national university for Masters and they rejected me because my qualification is HND. Someone advised I should search for another school I have been trying but to no avail. pls gurus help me with an idea or a clue of what to do i can't apply for Undergraduate because Im above 30yrs already. And also how does this transfer study work.

Me: to the US for an undergraduate degree in Electrical engineering as a transfer student at the uni. Bridgeport.

Bridgeport students do little of class work but spends more time at the lab with their hands on lab. Research practical and workshop trainings, wch is what I need at this level of my career to enable me contribute my quota in the current nation building and development.
UB is got well trained and experienced and lecturers and professors.

Vo: why US
Me:because it's educational system has good international recognition, and it's degrees is well accepted in any part of the world due to its cutting edge technologies.

Vo: it is said here that you have an OND and HND in Electrical Electronic Engineering.

We staired at each other for seconds and she said I'm not well convinced and okay to grant you this visa.
I asked her my status and she said it's a temporary denial, I should reapply.


The sponsors issue was from my school, my in-law was first but he's statement added to the 11k USA scholarship was not enough. The needed an SOA with little fund to make up for the i20. I sent that of my in-law and the fund in it was too heavy they new trashed that of my uncle and showed only my in laws details on my i20. And my DS160 details was already containing my uncles details.

Now I will be going to the embassy come May cuz my school has sent me an new i20 form for fall 2018, I want to know
(1) does Uni. Bridgeport raise red flag
(2) should I write standardized test exam, if yes which will be better IELTS or tofel,
(3) I am 30 have been traditionally married but not legally married,because of dis I didn't include it on my previous DS160.

Pls to all the gurus I need your advice on what to do. Thanks

I was denied visa b4 but just received another i20 from my school, uni Bridgeport does the school raise a red flag? And do I really need to write any test exam b4 going to the embassy this time if yes wch amongst SAT, TOEFL, IELTS. pls note I am a transfer student, undergraduate program. Pls urgent help.

My F1 interview,

after the long question and answer section,

she maintained eye contact with me for 2mins and said I'm not convinced,

I just don't feel OK to grant you dis visa.

When I said but your reason is not genuine enough she just shout next.

I heard Language Course visa do get denied now that their is where you can learn it in Abuja. That's the route I want to use before I was advised to go for my Undergraduate study jejely (but I will sure do it after my undergraduate studies).

I called the Abuja embassy to know when next an applicant can reapply after denial and they said an applicant is free to reapply again. The 3 months ban has been stopped. How true can this be?

You better make out time to go to Abuja, before them go open office for your head.

No mind am, you go spend times 4. Better go do am by your self, you can do everything in a day and leave that same day.

A lot of people have confused themselves concerning this issue of authentication/legalisation of certificates at the MoE/MoF and heading to the embassy for the apostilization stamp... in accordance with the research I have carried out, once you have authenticated/legalized your documents at the both ministries, you don't need to go the the embassy for the apostilization...
Nigeria is one of the 21 apostile countries in the world...So, an applicant from one of the apostile countries who is seeking admission into South korea/ foreign country must authenticate/legalize his/her documents at MoE/MoF in his/her country...but an applicant who is not from the 21 apostile countries must visit South Korea embassy in his/her country for apostilization of certificates... this is my understanding and I stand to be corrected. (Although some schools may request both from ministries and embassy).
before you send your original authenticated/legalized copies to South Korea, make sure you have the notarized photo copies to avoid embassy wahala.

Pls I'm quite confused here,after you authenticate/legalise your certificate at MOE/MOFA, which one is to notarize again,where can such be done?

And another thing is when you mail some of this schools it takes long before they reply and some don't.like KIT,they've not replied my mail for weeks. To the gurus in the house, am I likely to face same conditions when I must have paid app: fee and tuition fee?
