presently it is free, if u have any old working dstv decoder & a card,even if its not d decoder registered with d card. All dat dstv will do is collect d old card,give u d new one, then pair it with d dstv decoder brought wit d card.
I dont think dstv have any plan for only cards alone, all dey told me was to go and get a new single decoder + smartcard for #17.5k or just go for complete set ( dish,decoder, lnb & smartcard) for #27k.
Note : if u swap just d old card, it will ONLY show on d decoder d card was sold with ,....xcept software comes up later for strong decoders or beta still get dat hd decoder that unsramble even married cards for dstv small n latest decoders.

For those dat are been asked to come and 'crack' their dstv cards, instead of going to swap dem for free now @ multichoice b4 may 1. Pls dnt b deceived.

2. There's a big diffrence btw married cards n opened but restricted cards.
You mite have an open blue or multicolour cards dat will only show channel 118 ( afmag yoruba) alone in some certain dsd990 or old decoders, while it will definately show all channels on some old dstv and strong decoders.
When ur old open card is collected, cracked or not cracked as suggested, d card will be pulled out ,u will den be given anoda one dat will only work on one & only one decoder it will be married to.
Dstv get record of all cards n dey have specific numbers n versions, hence,weda ur card is cracked or not,by May 1 all old cards bcoms history, remember wat apund a while ago,dstv no go chase u ooooo, na to just scramble all old cards weda cracked or not,weda na inside dstv or strong decoder.....
I'l advice if u have old cards n u dnt wnt to lose it completely or later asked to pay #3k to swap it,d only geniune alternative is to go n swap for d new black married card now b4 May 1......

Afterall peeps dey watch even d married cards( wit subscrbtion ) on other decoders.

About two weeks ago Arryadia didnt show midweek epl matches,did d heavens fall, was d info invalid or not true ?. Mbc3 advertised schalke vs leverkuson match but showed india film instead ystaday.
Subsequently b4 ystaday, i noticed zimbo shows italian league & lcf shows bundesliga.
Lcf showed schalke vs leverkuson match ystaday @ 6:30pm,while zimbo didnt. I only told u to look out for it & dats y i didnt specify d matches.
So all these while ONLY pidzo gives correct details, dats good.......
If i have posted over 60 posts here & 1 happens not to fall through completely,does dat now rubbished all d geniune n true posts, i leave dat for u all to judge.
