I must say im disappointed @ multichoice, be it monopoly or no competition, why on earth will dey increase their tarrifs when u r tryin to fight piracy ?, now peeps r further pussed to d wall n more now seek more shortcuts n alternatives to watching dstv.
Some one asked whats the way forward ?.
My candid ANSWER is FREE-TO-AIR !!!.
I last subscribed to dstv in my house in feb2010 n dat was because i was away servin my fatherland.

With d right eguipment and gadgets u will get to see more dan dstv av to offer @ #11,000 monthly @ no addition cost xcept for cost of putin ur gadgets on ground.
No illegality, no monthly payment, no dstv........just allround entertainment free of charge....

i know i aint qualify yet to be called a guru. Apart from amos5 theres pratically nothing new on satelite on 90cm less except on BUD, which most peeps cant aford or a constrained to purchase cos of space. There have been theorys btw mesh, fibre n pan dishes , and while most times fibres mite loose its focal positn ( mostly as a result of transportatn ), here obnelly is tryin to 'create' an alternative BUD that can easily be transported n assembled n still give yielding result taking also in mind cost implications.........WITHOUT BREAKING ANY RULES HERE.
What obnelly is doing is strictly fta incline n no illegalities and dats why he has nt been banned nor chastised.

naa naa, i disagree with you on this one.
Have you ever heard of CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM or an adage that says '' A STITCH IN TIME SAVES 9 ''. Obnelly did not buy the dish, he is contructing it and hence he is giving the house feedbacks so that if he had made any ERROR(S) or oversites, he would be advice & corrected before moving to the next stage,so as to get a good result.
Those picture serves 100% living proof that it can be done,and he is doing it, and that is 100% fta inclined.......
Hence, if you cant help the bro, PLEASE do not discourage him.

Please i need all your professional advice .i have 2 90cm dish one for the Dstv free station and other for MBC Africa as in Mauritius and when i discovered that AB7 just launched their satellite i taught this will be more interesting so i turned my MBC dish to AB7 while arriadia and the likes were showing and all of a sudden now it is becoming bore and bore everyday so now am thinking of changing to better one where at least someone would be able to watch live epl,spanish ,serie A and german league.Please which better one is good to invest on now i meaning paying my installer for his service mind you i have Multi Tv too on 60cm and it also becoming bore.maybe epl season as not started.How about this coming Olympic?Sir what about TVM? is it a promising one.......

by now , apart from cctvs, Oh tv & Ebtv dstv position w4 is practically useless to sacrifice a whole dish for fta ( xcept when bb is free) because every other available stations there are on w3c @ 16east + amos5 on 17east...
Your surest combination should be.
Multi tv, w3a & w3c+amos5,,,,,,,,,,,
with d above, you are good to go, or does anyone agree less?

Many mistakes don apun for my shortlife.
1* she left me for my bestfriend when i was 16,because i no 'service' her at all.
Lesson : neva assume dat she does not want to be layed (dnt b decieved,she want sex !!!.)
2* she left because i was to popular to b cheated on & i was 'ambitiously' carried away wit study n d 'future'.
Lesson : enjoy d present ,think n worry less abt 2moro, what is 2moro witout ur loved ones ?.
3* i loved her whole heartedly,showed it,commited, had no substitute, did evry tin ( including servicing),yet she left for finer coursemate of her in school.
Lesson : dont ever be too predictable,n always have a PLAN B.
Also, the beautiful ones cheats the MOST.

Now, im just a very good bad guy...... No commitment, no string attached........100% flexing .

When time to settledown comes, i'l cross d bridge.

Each time im here, i check the also viewing.....its always revealing, Gurus are here watching, they keep silent to avert bin insulted n only comment when neccessary. U dnt bcom a graduate, if u fail to 'enrole' in a school.
Moreover, '' a child that knows how to rinse/wash its hands, eats with the elders''....... 3 ways to attain dis, take time to read thread frm season1 or atleast read back 3 pages b4 u post anything, ask questions politely and be VERY patient....
