So many. One happened on Tuesday. I was almost closed for work and have closed the door and left only the small one slightly open. My stomach has been rumbling since morning and I've been stifling myself from releasing some dangerous gasses into the environment and wouldn't want to endanger the life of the customers. Na so I felt flatulence and decided to ease out and release some since the door is closed and I'm alone, that was when the devil decided to disgrace me and sent the man I respect the most into my office. When I saw him I wanted to escape through the window but he had already seen me. As he forced his way in through the small opening. He got in but couldn't believe or understand what was happening . I watched as he struggled to breathe but couldn't. The odour was more pungent than a rotten egg. He looked at me defeated and throttled back through the door with his eyes blinking intermittently. I thought he was losing consciousness. I really don't know what to tell him. I've been avoiding his office. I don't know whether to go and apologize to him or to ask him what he wanted during the unfortunate visit. |
All these people saying "he has no clear source of income" should go and take several seats behind. You that have a good source of income what have you done with it? You are no saint, You, cheat, defraud, lie and steal (all to make money) and yet still remain poor. You commit the same crime as the person you accuse. I've met very dishonest people in life and they're always ready to accuse others of dishonesty. There is no Saint among us and its totally wrong to accuse or judge other people because we think they've succeeded doing the things we often do but not having a headway. |

My HTC desire 610 started acting up showing that annoying "unfortunately this and that app has stopped working" I did everything I could read online but it didn't stop, I also did a factory reset thrice but it got worse to the extent that I can't log in to Google again. I gave one guy to reload the software and he used att & t version to reload it. Now I can't toggle between 3g and 4g (there is no option for it now) , it's stuck on 4g (auto) and sometimes it shows Edge which makes it difficult for me to browse the net. The worst that I noticed now is that I can't use my Hotspot anymore, it keeps saying network some network issues and telling me to try back later. How can I solve this Hotspot issue? And I'm scared of taking it back to the software guy 'cause I went through a lot to finally see a tech guy that agreed to help me with the phone. |
myking95:I went to motor spare parts but I left because I found it demeaning, dirty and also very tasking trying to learn all the part numbers of the numerous parts used by different car models. I also don't like the people around me there (they're mostly uneducated apprentices who mostly are devoid of good morals and can even persuade customers to purchase faulty goods or sell "china" in place of "Taiwan" . The worst is that these are the people that put me through in the business.I felt I don't belong there and I left.I found my forte in gadgets (uk used laptops, hard drives and other accessories). I always liked ITC, so now, I go to my office (shop, if you want to make it sound very local) , dress very clean and look very professional while doing my business in a more civilized environment. There are so many things you can do , it depends on your area. You can go for something with lesser capital demand. You might consider dry cleaning services, you can also sell products for people online and make your gain (most people here don't have shops but they make money), you can learn how to repair phones or laptops (including Macs) and being good with the softwares of both too (they make money too). There are so many things you can do,just take your time, think of the one you have flair for and hit it. Good luck. |
I like the sneakers, especially the one with the blue tint. |
I think you're right. You graduate around 24yrs, waits a year for nysc call up letter (unless you're lucky to be called up immediately), you finish NYSC at 26yrs. You job-hunt for few months (years) before getting a 50k job When I was in school I do visit my eldest brother who runs businesses and has many apprentices (boi boi). These boys respect me and envy for having a rich brother that sent me to the university. They felt as if they're beneath me and envy my student's swag, poise and gait. I always dress better and behave better and present myself better than them. Then I noticed that as I got to 400level most of these apprentices have become manager, before I proceed for my NYSC 3 of them have been "settled" and have become their own boss. I finished my NYSC,came to Lag and found out that these guys are not doing bad, they have there own business and are taking charge of their lives, one of them has even registered for part time studies in unilag . Then, my job-hunting began,I couldn't secure a job within the next 5 - 6 months. They no longer envy me ,rather, they wished me well ( still believing in their minds that my brothers would help me if I need anything). Moreover, I stopped searching for jobs, learnt a business and I'm so happy for that decision. You can't always get a good job ,but you can always start something good on your own. |
Nice one. I would like to know whether increasing the AC to 'hi' actually consumes more fuel or It's the same. I've a brother that always puts his AC on low and must drive his car for about 10 minutes before putting on the AC believing the engine should charge before putting the AC on. I always fault this and felt slightly irritated whenever I drive with him and he is doing the "leaving engine to charge before putting the AC on" . |
I like Bally a lot,he is intelligent and mature. I'm falling for Debie's hot stature, I've always maintained that I prefer her to the other girls. She has some radiating beauty. |
Momcherry:I'm ashamed of myself o, I decided to give myself a treat last Friday and prepared spaghetti; everything went well initially, the aroma was killing (i swear It smelt so good), I couldn't believe I was the one cooking it.I just don't know how it happened, everything just changed after I put the spaghetti (cooked) inside the stew I made. I can't just explain the taste. I guess I didn't fry the tomatoes well or so....or somebody is just following me from the village. Sorry I didn't relate this to you after your guidelines. I wasn't that proud that I botched the cooking again. |
DollarAngel:Be tapping into people's blessings no go start your own. ![]() |
They're coming for you. |
oyb:I don't think it's fair putting her number on an open platform like nairaland; as for the Ntel number, it's 08043038870 |
malikalhaj:sorry for the unfounded figure, it was borne out the of frustration they've caused me. |
oyb:I am not working for any telecom. You won't understand how frustrated it was for me to leave my office at Computer village, trekked to their office at Awolowo way to purchase the sim and couldn't use it. The day I bought it the lady took my details including bio-metrics too but complained of network issues and promised to register and activate it at night while giving me her contacts to get in touch with her in case I need any help later. I contacted her at night and reminded her to do it but she said she is on her way home that she will activate it when she gets home but she didn't do it. I reminded her the next day and the day before but she didn't do it instead she stopped responding to my chats. I later traveled and came back around middle of October and continued calling but she keeps apologizing and promising to do it. I squeezed out time to go to their office again to register my anger and frustration but I was told she was on leave and they checked my sim and confirmed it's not been registered but said they can't help me that it's the lady that sold it to me that can register it unless I will get another sim from another person but their network is down at the at the moment , so it would be activated later if i get another sim , I couldn't believe my ears and stormed out of their office feeling defeated and pained. After some weeks I called the same girl again and reminded her of my situation and she said she is back from leave and normally comes to Computer Village that she would come the next day and promised to come to my plaza. I contacted her that next day and she told me she is busy registering some people at Computer village that she is coming to my plaza when she is through there, I called her later in the evening she told me she can't come that the machine is down and network is acting up but she would come tomorrow. I kept calling her day after day until it dawned on me that she is only interested in selling the sims and not attending to disgruntled customers; after all,she has sold the sim to me already and won't get any additional money registering it. I gave up and stopped calling, I am only using my etisalat now (at least, it is fast and has strong 4g at the office and good at home too,but makes me to spend more), sometimes I use mtn at home. I bought glo's 4g sim but it's as useless as the 3g. |
Ntel that has less than two thousand subscribers are having network issues. They have the worst staffs from what I have experienced so far, they're only interested in selling their lines to people but don't bother about customers' satisfaction. They're yet to activate the sim I bought from them in early October 2016. I've gone to there office at Ikeja twice for it but the lady that sold it to me seems unreliable and not ready to help me. I've lost hope in their network. If guns were legalized in this country i would've shot all of them in that office, as for the girl that sold it for me, I would make sure that I shoot her and her spirit too. |
Go online and download 'usbfix' ,install it, click on 'clean', when it's done it will paste the result on your desktop. Let me know if this didn't solve the issue. Cheers. |
Nice one. Abeg make una no vex o, has anyone successfully cooked a delicious spaghetti before? I've tried different methods even watching YouTube videos but they end up tastless. I still have some packs stashed in my pantry. I just need a hint on how to make a delicious meal out of it. Thanks Note : I didn't but them, some bought them for me. ![]() |
boiz2men:this is not right at all,but somehow I found this very very funny especially the emboldened. ..... And your signature ![]() |
fortknox10165:your statement is alien to mine, I don't see any correlation between what I said and your response. How do you mean I should keep fooling myself and ask God for wisdom?? Don't I have the right to say what is beautiful in my own eyes? I repeat I don't find her beautiful, she is just ok. |
jashar:you're mean and unfriendly; practise what you preach ma'am ![]() |
Haute:just when I was complaining of man's inhumanity to man, then I see this. ![]() |
I don't find her pretty, maybe 'cause she is too "whitish". |
Sugarhugs:You're being unnecessarily mean and disrespectful. You can make your point without being this acidic. People have the right to post or do whatever they want, he didn't force you to click on the thread. You can quit being dramatic and stop bullying people. |
I don't understand, how do you know you're having an extra year in your 3rd year? Dear OP, forget the whole brouhaha about making 2.1 or 2.2 and focus on what you will become after school. The truth is that those that made better grades in school most times end up working for people but those that managed to get through school become entrepreneurs (not in all cases). School is just a part of life and life after school is the main thing. Don't waste your life and time berating yourself for what you can't change. Take your time, read to garner knowledge, attend seminars, start planning what you would do after graduation (most people that graduated b4 you are still jobless) and you would go far. Moreover, there is more to life than just graduating to have a certificate, the bitter reality is that you might not use most of these things you learnt in school to make a living when you graduate ; you might never use Pythagoras theorem nor Almighty FORMULA in your life again, school might prepare you on how to pass a job test but won't prepare you on how to get through the interview phase, it won't teach you how to handle an annoying boss or how to face the many disappointments of life. JUST CALM DOWN, STUDY HARD TO LEARN AND FOCUS MORE ON WHAT HAPPENS AFTER SCHOOL. |
This man even looks very clean, most of those guys that work with the garbage trucks mostly look like they were rescued from a sewage tank. I keep wondering if they were charged to look like "waste" before they're lallowed to deal with waste. |
Nonsense! ![]() |
The romance section is just another 2go where vain teens drag us into their futile thoughts and subtly force us into their endless fantasies and sexual imaginations. |
I wonder why these nations keep annexing other nations and flexing their military muscles at smaller nations. They spend so much to make wars while peace is cheap. I once read and saw the number of islands and independent states owned and controlled by these powerful countries especially the US, France, Britain and the Netherlands and I was shocked to the bone; I'm yet to understand what else they want to gain if the whole world belongs to them. |
Slot is not the owner of Tecno and infinix. The owner of tecno owns infinix too; it was initially owned by Zenco, but now they are owned by the guy that owns zinox computers, he is the same man that owns youdala stores and plenty other companies in Naija. He is from Imo state. |
It thought me to run away when a girl seems desperate. I also learnt to only go for girls that matched my description of a life partner incase if something happens during our relationship. ... I've not really been into a very serious relationship |
. The worst is that these are the people that put me through in the business.I felt I don't belong there and I left.
