I looked at the data looking for something to rejoice at. I didn't find anything. Stanbic IBTC skewed the data massively, representing over 42% of the investments. This is a most likely one off investment and wouldn't be replicated in Q2 2019. 4 Likes 1 Share |

I have 2 Adsense accounts. Income from one goes to my dorm account as savings and the other goes to an Access Naira account for spending. Access bank give #330/$1. Very annoying. The stress of opening another dorm account and going to Bureau d change every month is not something I am willing to do anytime soon. Guys, what rates does your bank give you? |

Been a while on Nairaland. I recall my days here trying to be successful. I actually dabbled in Trading (made lots before the crash), did Money market funds and FGN bonds, currently doing Adsense sites and making over $XX,000 per month. Thing is, once you get more successful, you tend to leave amazing boards like this because you have more fish to fry. Now, why I am back is this. I have been moving across the country a lot - Calabar, Lagos, Abuja, Anambra and due to the huge Fx I import into Nigeria via Adsense, I always have the issue of changing Dollars to Naira. The banks are crazy giving me N330/$. Very mad peeps. So I always use Abokis. But that's a scary thing as you have to hunt down Hausa Qtrs in most locations. If you've ever traded Bitcoins, you must know Local Bitcoins, Paxful and Remitano. Cool stuff. So I am applying that to Fx transfers. Full Peer to Peer model. Bureau de Change guys make Blood money like money for almost nothing. You need N35mn to open a licensed BDC in Nigeria. A Peer to Peer system will bypass that and you can play like the big boys asap. I spent the whole of last week coming up with a minimum product - Abokiswap.com. I have enough money to run ads on Nairaland (expect that soon) but I would just love to know what the community thinks atm. |

Good day peeps. Okk. I created this thread because its good we stop deceiving ourselves. Some of us here write very valuable content and yet no one gives a sh|t. Maybe because they can't find it. Maybe because you wrote cra.p. All the same, we are all in the same boat. Same content discovery boat. And from what I know, Links are the holy grail. So let's do this. Instead of begging, crawling, with snotty noses begging for guest posts or single damn links , lets link to fellow sites in our niche. If you go back and check the History of the web, you will see that sites like Bella Naija has a section on its site called "Sites We follow". Those were link building at its best because most sites had it. And you can see how big these sites are now. And to everyone, this is Very White Hat. We will simply be recommending valuable sites in our Niche to our current visitors. To qualify, your site must have at least 10,000 visitors per month. Please drop your site name and or your email address, indicating your niche (mine is fashion and entertainment). |

Yes. THE LAW is thwt you cannot force a willing employee on an unwilling employer. But what about cases of employers screwinng employees outta their salaries and remuneration like @pweetiedee above? Thats where the law has a remedy. I recently wrote something on this not too long ago here - https://www.nairaland.com/3735819/travails-salaried-employee-sue-not Also, the case of Benard Longe, a man who became a billionaire by suing his employer might interest you -- .https://www.nairaland.com/3736454/benard-longe-man-sued-first Bottom line? Pls do not sleep on your rights for any reason. ![]() ![]() |

Let me start... Yr was 2001, i was in pry 2 and somehow, i managed to accumulate #500. Every day during break time, i will bring out d money and b counting it. All d girls started liking me and i became d biggest boy in class but there was dis very fine girl dat i likek dat no send me.. her name was Faith (calabar girl.).. There was a day she was sweeping d class (twas her sweeping day) and under my desk was written "I love faith.". She started questioning me saying it was my handwriting but i denied flat. she called her friends na so i dey deny upandan. Then she went to call her cousin in pry 3 - Ndike, who i hated wit a passion cus he likes bullying pry 2 boys. He called me out of class during closing time (before lesson time) but i refused to go and went to d class window. He and d girl started questioning again.. as i dey deny na so d cousin (thru d window) PUNCH my mouth and 1 teeth fell out . Naso i burst cry with blooding mouth and d boy ran away. He didn't stay for lesson dat day. Last i saw Faith in my 300l, she was selling, recharge card at my estate entrance, not half as beautiful as dose days 3 Likes |
